"Do you think I could take her to the Blood House? I'd rather keep her on the mainland for the sake of others."

"Ain't my call, but I'm guessing she'd be welcomed. I'll set it up."

"I'd appreciate it. I want her someplace I know to be truly safe and she'll have people around her. Right now it's just myself and Jade for the most part."

"We'll get to the bottom of it. Hell, the House may even be able to figure this out."

Her conversation with Luse rang in her head as she looked at the sprawling estate that was Blood House Onyx. She was not one of them, but her sibling was. And it was for her sibling she was there.

She reached up and rang the bell that was attached to the gate. Hopefully Luse spoke to someone to warn them of her impending arrival. It had been a couple days since their conversation in the Inn. Maybe the one named Belial would be there. Kitty spoke so highly of her.

She patiently waited by the gate as she contemplated how to ask for what she wished. She wanted Kitty to be there...with them. She wanted her to be with family who was more than just one sister and a grumpy dragon.

And so....she waited.

At the arrival of the lady at the gate, two towering, stern faced Trueblood guards appeared as if out of nowhere and drew the gate doors open allowing the lady inside. "You're expected Milady. Please make your way to the house." One spoke up, standing stiff and with perfect posture, the only movement the motion of a hand in the direction of the dark silhouette of Onyx house.

The closer to the manor that Chryrie got, her eyes would note the lady standing on the wide front steps. A sapphire shaded, calf length skit twisting and fluttering around her legs in a softly heather scented breeze along with the blue tipped silver hair that danced almost playfully around the elegant, pale features. Crystalline eyes of pale silvery blue shone warmly before she gracefully moved down the stairs to greet the visitor. "Good day to you Milady Nightstar. I am Indigo, Lord Lankyn's personal assistant."

A pale hand was extended in greeting as her melodic, honey warm words continued. "Lusiphur left word with me to expect you so we have been waiting. Do come inside so we might discuss how best to bring the best possible care for Kitty."

"You're expected Milady. Please make your way to the house."

Chryrie nodded vaguely to the two guards. She wouldn't try to chitchat with them. She knew they weren't there to be talked to. So the fae moredhel simply did as instructed and went in towards the manor.

Her kaleidescope eyes swirled a multitude of colors as she approached the woman standing on the stairs. TrueBloods were always so fascinating. She could observe them for years and not grow bored. But now was not the time for such things. She had her sister to worry about.

"Good day to you Milady Nightstar. I am Indigo, Lord Lankyn's personal assistant."

Chryrie took the pale hand in her own delicate one and gave it a firm shake before releasing. "Hello Indigo. Just Chryrie is fine, please. I may know all the finer points of etiquette, but I rarely find use for them when it comes to myself."

"Lusiphur left word with me to expect you so we have been waiting. Do come inside so we might discuss how best to bring the best possible care for Kitty."

He did? Oh thank goddess. The surprise and relief weren't apparent on her features, but it was almost overflowing her insides.

"Thank you. I wasn't sure how to go about this. I assumed Kitty would be welcome since she is part of your family. However, since I am not, I wasn't sure how my asking would be looked upon. "

She paused a few moments as she followed Indigo inside. It was indeed impressive inside. Kitty had not exaggerated. She was careful to keep her gossamer wings tucked against her body so she wouldn't smack anything by accident. "She's growing weaker by the day and I feel she needs to be someplace where she will be protected by more than just the magics of a fae and a dragon. She needs more than just a couple people around her that care about her. And despite my years of study, I'm at a loss as to what to do."

Her voice trailed off as she found herself once again struggling to keep her composure. Normally she was a stone wall with a mask of amused disdainment. But when her sister was involved, she was a mess.

Leading Chryrie into a small elegant parlor off to the right hand side of the entrance she made a gestured casually towards chairs and a sofa situated near the warmth of the laid fire and smiled gently.

"She's growing weaker by the day and I feel she needs to be someplace where she will be protected by more than just the magics of a fae and a dragon. She needs more than just a couple people around her that care about her. And despite my years of study, I'm at a loss as to what to do."

The lady stated and Indigo could see the struggle to maintain her composure on the Fae features and her gaze gentled. She could understand the lady's concerns, as others within their own house also felt the same. They would do all they could to aid in Kitty's recovery and make her and sister as comfortable as possible in the process.

"Have a seat Chryrie. May I get you something to drink?" Steps that flowed with silent ease carried her towards the small bar inside the Parlor. "We have made rooms for Kitty as well as yourself if you wish to remain with her prepared. Lord Lankyn has also sent word to a number of mages and healers and most should arrive by this evening." Her mellow dulcet words designed to calm and sooth flowed free as Indigo eased her way behind the counter to make herself a cup of jasmine tea.

"Have a seat Chryrie. May I get you something to drink?"

"Some tea would be lovely, thank you. " She carefully settled into one of the chairs, her wings being absorbed into her skin. It was an uncomfortable process, but less painful than leaning back in a chair and crushing them. Her gaze remained locked on this Indigo woman. Kitty had not mentioned much of her, but that didn't really mean anything, in honesty. However...

"We have made rooms for Kitty as well as yourself if you wish to remain with her prepared. Lord Lankyn has also sent word to a number of mages and healers and most should arrive by this evening."

Chryrie eyebrows shot upwards with surprise before slowly lowering to their normal positions.

"Lord Lankyn" Kitty always expressed she felt he barely knew who she was, let alone cared anything about her welfare..." She let it trail off as her thoughts tried to refocus on the matter.

"But yes, I would be extremely grateful if I could stay close to her side. As for the healers and mages....whatever this is seems to be magic resistant. So I hope they have plenty in their bags of tricks. I spoke with Sid about it and we honestly believe it's a poison of some sort tailor made just for her. If so, it would only stand to reason they would make it resistant to my abilities." She frowned thoughtfully.

"Either way. I'll be glad to tell them all I know. However, I guess right now I just need to figure out how you'd prefer to get her here." She smiled weakly, but was sincere in the effort.

"Lord Lankyn" Kitty always expressed she felt he barely knew who she was, let alone cared anything about her welfare..."

So often many believed such things. However Indigo knew Lord Lankyn was always aware. Ever observant, little escaped his notice. Yet such things were not often remarked upon and to Chryrie a smile graced her elegant visage gently. "He is always concerned about those within the house. It may not seem so, but be assured he will do all he can to aid Kitty."

Liquid smooth her movements as Indigo drifted over towards the lady balancing perfectly a pristine silver tray holding the elegant teapot and matching accessories. Placing that gently upon the table she sank down in the chair opposite the fretting Fae. The soothing scent of white jasmine drifted upwards with the curling a steam unleashed with the flow of liquid into the waiting cup. The hot drink then offered to Chryrie with graceful motion.

"Our house healers are vastly skilled in a variety of ailments, including poisons. I am confident they can isolate what troubles Kitty and combat it in due order. If herbal means are required, we have that also well in hand." Melodic and reassuring her words that held a softly accented tone. Indigo again offered a warm hopefully calming smile.

"We have a suite of rooms all ready for you both and we will seek to make you and Kitty as comfortable as possible. I shall simply ask one of the Guards perhaps to go along with you to collect her. Moving her here will only take a few minutes." Pausing a moment to take a sip of the hot tea, she continued. "We have the means to move her nearly instantly and I think it might be best we utilize that. Would you not agree Chryrie?"
