Chryrie had spent days pouring over the notes she had taken during Rhaine's visit. She had borrowed books from Tass's library and buried herself in the mountain of literature. Notes on one side, books on the other, notepad in the middle as she scribbled and tried to figure out the poison that had taken her sister so close to the edge of death.

She had finally reached a point where she felt the need for a break, and so she decided to head to the Inn for a few moments of relaxation and a glass of mead. She appeared there in her usual nondescript puff of dust, all set for a bit of time with friends. She got something else instead...

She was waving to friends and then she saw him. The moredhel elf with the face she knew all too well. It was the same face that grinned with sick glee as he would rip her wings from her back as a child. Her and Kitty's brother....Kalentor.

"Your choice of new residence is interesting, half breed." He said to her in his usual way. Full of self importance.

"You should have stayed dead." She sneered back at him. What the hell was he doing here anyway?

"No thanks to you two. But I'm turning the tables. I've already done quite the job on dear Kittarina." He seemed downright proud of this statement, as he used Kitty's proper name. He then disappeared in a cloud of mage smoke.

Chryrie just blinked as she realized the meaning of what he said. He was responsible behind her poisoning. HE was the one who was trying to kill her. And he was implying he was going to try to kill her too! Anger overtook the fae as she let out a screech and threw a fireball at the smokey haze where the mage once stood.

It took her awhile to calm down, but eventually she did enough to consider her options. Obviously many needed to be informed. Top most on the list....Luse.

After she returned to the Onyx that evening, she immediately went to the nearest TrueBlood elf that was standing around.

"Tell Luse I need to speak with him. Kitty's would be assassin has shown himself."

He heard the fae's screech as he disappeared into the blackness that was where he kept himself.

Sweet sweet music to his ears. Her agony only made him smile all that much more.

He went to the table that was on the verge of breakiing down, inside the abandoned home he had taken for his own. His fingers closed around a vial of the poison he had spent the past decade putting together and lifted it to look at it with a wicked smile.

"They have only begun to know pain. And then Clan Onyafal will once again be clean of them." He chuckled to himself.

Yes. It would only be a matter of time. He would destroy them, and their children.

The one he truly wanted dead was that fae, but he would make sure she saw the deaths of her family first. He had made the mistake of taking her head on, and lost. No, he wanted her to be truly in agony and almost begging for death when he came after her again. The one he once called sister was easy enough to take down. Her predictable ways made it all too easy for him. A random urchin was easily paid to slip the poison into that coffee she loved so much. He had discovered a way to get the poison that would take away those mental powers she had developed into her very bones and then magically altered the mixed in Silverthorn so the fae's magic could not remove it. He was sure it would only be a matter of time before she gave up and died.

With Kittarina out of the way, his path was made a bit more clear so he could move on to the next one. She would be the easiest now. After all, the young were always the easiest to be taken care of.
