There you see her Sitting there across the way She don't got a lot to say But there's something about her And you don't know why But you're dying to try You wanna kiss da' girl

A Pequena Sereia - Kiss Da Girl

The door of the Red Dragon inn flew open as if by its own accord as the Count walked in wearing a deep blue leather jacket, black leather pants, and black boots shinned to a mirror sheen. His long black hair flowed back over his shoulders, and his soul-forged demon sword with chain release was at his hip.

"Heals amazin'ly well," Sid commented to Panther as her glamoured blue moved to the sight at the door. Silvered brows rose into moonwhite bangs.

Talomar's dark eyes very slowly scanned the inn, his chin to his chest as he observed who was here and who wasn't.

Having polished off the last of the brownie, Tasha glanced around to see if there might be more, the need for chocolate a rather dangerous thing for the small elf. She sighed seeing the various plates had been emptied, but then she saw Talomar and sent a wave in his direction. A sudden smile touching somber features. "Evening Tal."

Panther gave a nod as he looked to the jar. "I have used it....as well as horsetail...knotweek works well too."

"Fortuitous happenstance, Ana," Sid had replied while looking over to her niece and nodding the Count's way, a smile touching the Ancient's gamine features.

Talomar looked to Tasha and returned the smile, always happy to see her; and then he looked to Sid. "Good evening, Ancient One," Talomar said to Sid while walking to Tasha.

Sid sent a grin back to Panther, swallowing the last of the brownie as quicksilver sparks hazy brightness in glamoured blue eyes. "O' course, scars do be attractive to some females."

"Would seem so. Was just talking about him, to you even Sid," informed Tasha with a quiet laugh as she slipped down from her seat to greet Tal, giving him a tight hug once he drew near.

"Then I am out of luck there...dun seem to get those." Panther used the other towel to clean some of the dried mud from his shoulder and chest, and then sent a glance back to Piper. "And to answer your question...they are usually easily avoided if one is paying attention."

Talomar's strong arms embraced Tasha as he hugged her tightly, and then he spoke in low quite words, "And how are you this evening, my dear?" He slowly released her slight form from the embrace.

A slide of those eyes to Talomar, Sid felt the tiniest of twinges. The fact things are known about her in this realm more than they ever were once upon a time does cause trepidation, but the noting of such discomfort is momentary at best. "Gran' eve to ye Count Longden."

Talomar smiled charmingly to Sid. "So pleasant to see you once again. Might I have a whiskey please?"

"For ye, Count Longden, anythin'." Fox lit grin on Sid's features and she pushed from her lean to prepare the whiskey.

Tasha peered up at him with dark violet eyes and gave a smile, just not one of her better ones really. "Well, I have had better days and I don't much like The House Mages right now. Da wanted me to see them about this thing on my hand and their first options kind of don't appeal at all."

Talomar grinned just as wickedly in response to Sid's expression. "Thank you, dear Sid." Then turned to Tasha. "And just what options are those that don't appeal?"

"'Tis me job, Count Longden." Sid laughed, settling the whiskey before him.

"And you do it so efficiently, Sid. Thank you." Talomar replied

Tasha's nose crinkled slightly as she glanced at Sid again and then back up, her dark violet gaze moved to Talomar. "Like I told Sid earlier, their first option was to kill me and move my essence and soul into a new body, which they are not terribly good at either. The other option, these being just off the tops of their heads of course, was to chop my hand off. Neither holds much appeal to me. They did assure me they would research it and find something less . . . unsettling perhaps."

"'Tis but a thin', Lord Longden. I do many thin's efficiently." Sid teased back, with another of those fox lit grins and she moved down the bar again.

Talomar's dark grin slid into a wicked devilish smirk and directed he words over towards the lady behing the bar. "I have no doubt of that, Sid."

At the words from the count, Sid laughed. A sound rich, and honey-dark, but did mutter a bit in amusement under her breath. "Ye 'ave nae idea."

An intent, dark eyed look, and then an absolutely handsomely evil grin to Sid followed. "Well, perhaps some day you might educate me."

His attention then turned back to Tasha, a considering expression on handsome features. "Perhaps I might have a less . . . umm . . . how should I said . . . drastic solution?"

"I am more then willing to listen to any suggestions, even those that require chopping parts off my person; although really, I would rather keep my hand and my current body intact. Kind of fond of both." Tasha's lips then twitched as she looked over at Sid then at Tal, thinking they were talking with words but the meanings were all very different she was sure. She sent a quick wave to Shy before lifting her head to gaze up at Tal again, while lightly brushing the angel fine drift of bangs from her unusually dark gaze.

Taking her hand in both of his, Talomar placed a kiss to the fingers. "I do believe this hand is far to lovely to be separated from your arm."

Again Sid took up a casual lean against the bar back, impossibly long legs crossing at booted ankles. Glamoured blue eyes rested intently on the Count. Oh, he would prove a most delicious and involving distraction, she was sure. Something she was needing more and more these days. Thumb hooked to a front pocket of rider-worn denim, fingertips dust over a small lump within without thought.

Count Longden suddenly remembered that it's spring, and then smiled wickedly, knowing what that does to Sid's libedo.

Yes, you want her Look at her, you know you do Possible she wants you too There is one way to ask her It don't take a word Not a single word Go on and kiss the girl

A Pequena Sereia- Kiss Da Girl

Just a bit of color touched her pale cheeks and Tasha smiled at Tal, a bit of an imp lurking in her expression and gave a nod, as small fingers flexed in his grasp. "I am glad you said that. I don't think the House Mages shared that view of my hand that you have Tal."

"Then they are merely buffoons, my dear; inept and without the means to do things correctly. I'm glad you didn't take any quick action with them," Talomar stated succinctly.

"Well, it was just their first suggestions upon looking at the Rune. They did assure me they would research the situation thoroughly before trying to cut off any part of me at least. I didn't take those suggestions very well I'm afraid." A slight wince there as Tasha had been shouting a bit about it all and sent a few of those mages fleeing.

"The work of a sorcerer can be quite formidable, but I have resources at my disposal," the Count then offered courteously and then smiled down at Tasha, admiring her beauty. "I shall tell you when we are alone. This is no place do discuss such matters."

Sid lifted the forgotten ale, she slid a look over the Count, her thoughts a tumble on several different subjects.

"Oh yes, your right about that." Tasha's voice dropped as she leaned towards Talomar for a moment, a rather serious expression flickering over her elfin features and whispered to him very softly. "The whole place is wired up with image orbs. Heard Belial telling my Da that the other day. DCH or something."

Aware of Sid's attention, Talomar's gaze swung and sent her a wink.

Sid chuckled at the wink, a shake of the elflocked head as she stepped from her lean to stand before Chris. "'ello, Sexy!"

Leaning in very close to Tasha, feeling her fine hair against his lips as Talomar whispered into her ear. "In that case, I should give them their money's worth."

That touch brought a startled blink but Tasha didn't move back, instead a giggle bubbled up from her lips and a bit of light entered her dark violet gaze as she peered at him now curiously, her voice still quiet and low. "Oh' How would you do that Tal?"

"Well, I'm sure that DCH would just hate to see me swoon all over you, lovely Tasha." Another brushing of warm lips to her fingers, while gazing intently at her, Talomar's dark eyes filled with amusement.

Another soft bubbling of laughter as Tasha stared at Tal, humor lifting some of the earlier gloom and her violet eyes started to twinkle. "Not too far wrong there, since Mr. Howe has a personal hate on for me."

Talomar spoke quietly. "Well, it wouldn't take DCH to have me swoon over you. I've been attracted to you for quite some time, Tasha. I think you might know that," he said with a grin and a roguish wink.

That comment made her blink a few times and Tasha blushed rather obviously but didn't look away from Talomar, just chuckled a bit instead. "Well I knew you liked me and all, but well, I um, ain't very good about that sort of thing. Kind of a surprise." A really pleasant surprise indeed so her next words were somewhat rushed, hushed whispering. "I find you attractive too, Talomar."

Her soft, shy ways always attracted him. Talomar also knew how strong she could be and that also attracted him. "I'm happy that you do, Tasha. I must admit I was very pleased that you accepted the offer of coming to my castle. Having you around has made each day a joy for me."

Distracted for only a moment, his gaze caught sight of Ms DeVore moving to get her own drink. "Tasha, my dear, do you know that one?" Talomar questioned with a point towards the lady.

"I like staying at your home too. It's quiet and safe there." Tasha's gaze swung towards the lady he directed her attention to with a slight tipping of her head. "No, I don't know the lady but I have seen her around a few times. Seems rather a serious type from what I have noticed."

The bottle was uncorked with ease and a glass poured, as Ms DeVore gazed out the window.

Now's your moment Floating in a blue lagoon Boy you better do it soon No time will be better She don't say a word And she won't say a word Until you kiss the girl

A Pequena Sereia - Kiss Da Girl

Talomar's arm moving around Tasha's shoulders as she turned, his lips moved near her cheek as he followed her look and then nodded. "Ahhh...I see. Was just wondering," he replied with a light caress, just barely brushing her cheek.

An audible indrawn breath as she felt that caress and Tasha's eyes slanted towards Talomar's with another tinge of pink touching her cheeks; but then her head turned, lips inches from his, and she grinned wickedly, eyes gleaming with sudden attention. Her hushed giggle falling in another whisper. "Can always ask her you know. Just walk up and start talking and get her name that way."

His lips closed that distance by half, wearing an almost wicked smile as he replied just as low and soft. "Oh, but that would take the mystery out of it, wouldn't it?" Talomar's dark eyes gazed into her deep violets.

Light fingers rose, touching Talomar's dark hair, something she had been itching to do for some time and leaned a bit closer still with a breath falling against his lips, one scented with the sweetness of chocolate. "Well yes, but there would be some amusement to be had in the learning too, don't you think?"

Ms DeVore stepped through the door to the shadows just beyond and out of sight of those within the inn.

Lips literally a breath away, enjoying the touch of her hand upon his hair. He had been about to encounter the woman when she departed into the shadows. "I think we missed our opportunity."

"Her eyes drifted half closed, looking at his lips though thick lowered lashes as she drew in another slow, calming breath and gave a husky little laugh, while dainty fingers wrapped that strand of his black hair around them lazily. "Oh, there will be other times to catch her I think. Didn't look like she was leaving for good."

Talomar slowly nodded, their noses touching and his hand moving up to Tasha's cheek. "You are right, there will be other times to meet her." Talomar paused briefly. "But maybe not another moment like this for us, Love." With that his lips closed the last of the space that resided between their waiting lips, and he pressed them against Tasha's soft, warm ones.

Tasha's pulse jumped instantly at the contact of his lips with her own, softening against his with a faint gasp falling and mingling in the moment as her fingers flexed, curling around the strand of Tal's dark hair with an unconscious light tugging.

Talomar let the kiss linger far longer than what anyone would consider socially acceptable for a first kiss, but he was never one to care what others think. His lips moved sensuously against Tasha's, delighting in what was happening.

Tasha didn't seem to mind the lingering kiss in the least, having lost all track of time in such a surprising and uncommon moment for her after all, and she just leaned closer, savoring the warmth of Talomar's lips with a soft sigh, and the sensation had her toes just curling inside her boots.

Talomar slowly turned the kiss into an affectionate hug, his hair against her face and his face against her soft, fine hair. "My dear Moon and Stars, let us depart from here. I want to walk you home. The night is lovely."

Tasha was trying to catch her breath but did manage a nod while dazed violet eyes started to clear and she chuckled. "Oh, yes, that sounds good. The...The night air would be good to um . . . clear my head." And considering her thoughts were all scattered at the moment, such a thing sounded perfect.

Talomar smiled and replied, "I think your head is just perfect as it is." He held out his arm, then his other hand pointed to the backpack and it flew to it. "Come, dear love. The night awaits us."

She gladly accepted the offer of an arm, as Tasha was pretty sure her knees wouldn't work on their own, and she muffled the urge to just giggle; but a few chuckles did escape as she peeked up at Talomar through the veil of bangs. "Lead on, Tal."

Talomar smiled down upon the beautiful woman upon his arm, and then chuckled. "But of course, my dear!" The door opened for them and they left the inn.

Talomar Longden

On the way home from the inn with the Lady Tasha upon his arm, Count Talomar Longden remembered two nights ago when she first came to reside with him. He had offered her the protection of Longden Castle to keep her safe from the influence of the Lord Veighn Yhaull. Talomar had no doubt that he could correct "the problem", but first he needed to understand it. In the meantime, he would protect Tasha from any further harm or threats.

—-

Tasha headed up the walk towards the castle and paused to look up at the imposing structure, thinking it seemed to fit it's owner rather well. She quickly adjusted her back pack on one shoulder and then strolled up the steps and politely knocked on the door. Even though he had told her to feel welcome, Tasha still wanted to be polite and just stood waiting patiently for someone to answer the door.

There was silence for several moments which might have seemed like hours in the dark, humid night, lit only by a hazy, waning moon and the large outdoor sconces on either side of the great ironwood door of the main entrance of Longden Castle. Finally a sound was heard - that of locks being released and the door was slowly swung open. Standing there in a black tuxedo was the recently hired valet, Mr. Charles Dukette, a tall, thin man with stark features and hidden strength. Mr. Dukette always did everything properly; whether greeting someone or killing someone, all was done with absolute perfection and professionalism. He had a thin smile as he bowed, "Good evening, m'lady. And you must be the Lady Tasha Oberon. Please, come out of the night air and make yourself at home. The Count was expecting you."

Having not been at all sure what to expect, she took a momentary step back at the sight of the tall rather stern looking man answering the door. She made a quick recovery with a smile lighting on her elf features as she gazed at him. "Ah, yes, I'm Tasha sir." Only a moment for her to take the invitation as the butler stepped back and ushered her inside. She slipped past him quietly, eyes lifting to look around the foyer curiously. Even in the dim light Tasha registered that it was tastefully elegant. "Is the Count here now sir?" She then asked, as one small hand brushed the drifting silvery bangs out of her violet eyes.

Mr. Dukette closed the door behind her and gave a slight bow of his head. "Count Longden is in his room, M'lady. I shall inform him that you are. . ."

"No need, Charles," the deep voice from the stairs announced. Talomar looked down, dressed in a black and deep blue velvet overcoat, black silk shirt beneath it, black pants and shined boots finishing his appearance. He smiled at Tasha, "I sensed your presence, dear Tasha, and I could not wait to greet you." He was down the stairs supernaturally fast and stepped before her as Charles relieved Tasha of her pack. Talomar took Tasha's hands and placed a kiss to the back of her fingers. "You are so very welcome here, Tasha. I cannot express enough how delighted I am to have you here."

She had been about to resist the Valet's efforts to take her pack from her but at the sound of Talomar's voice she had looked up and just forgot whatever it was she had been thinking. The smile was quick as it bloomed on her lips and Tasha barely even registered the speed he was moving with. Suddenly remembering that kiss as she felt his lips on the back of dainty fingers and was instantly caught by that odd sensation of attraction she wasn't used to feeling these days. It took her a moment to realize what he had just said and she laughed with a warm natural sound that bubbled up from her lips. "Thank you for issuing the invitation Tal. I really do appreciate it. I um, hope I am not interrupting or anything?"

Talomar laughed, "Of course not, my sweet. You could never interrupt." He put his arm around her and led her into a comfortable study with the windows open to allow in fresh air. "Charles will take your bag to your suite," he added, and immediately Charles had disappeared from view outside the study. The room was lit with table lamps and several wall sconces, together supplying sufficient light. Talomar turned to Tasha and placed his hands upon her shoulders, slowly rubbing her arms as he looked into her violet eyes. "I must admit that I've missed you - even in the short time that we've been apart."

Color rose in Tasha cheeks as she looked up at him with those words and then chuckled, humor lighting up her eyes as her gaze met his. "I've missed you too."

Curiously enough, she hadn't even noticed the departure of his Manservant, which normally would have been noted, but her thoughts seemed to have short circuited. While she did make notice of the tastefully arranged study and the light sent of evening spring air, her attention was predominantly upon Talomar. Impulsively, Tasha leaned to give him a warm hug as was her nature and then peered up at him. "You're not allergic to wolves are you? Thought I should ask before I bring him over to meet you, but I have a wolf puppy and would like to have him with me." Her manners were still working at least, and then she quickly added. "You also have a very impressive home too Talomar."

Talomar embraced her warmly and moved his cheek against her hair. "No, no. There's nothing that I'm allergic to, and wolves are always welcome." His strong hands moved over her back, "From this time on, my home is also your home; and it's never been more impressive than when you walked through the door." He softly kissed her forehead.

"Aww . . . that's very sweet of you to say that Tal." Tasha couldn't help but enjoy the warmth of his arms and she just gave him a cuddle before peering up at him. Violet eyes gleamed with her usual humor, "I think I should warn you of something. I tend to be a bit of a trouble magnet. I will try not to bring too much of that to your doorstep, but sometimes it just finds me." Slender arms gave him another squeeze of pressure then with a soft laugh. "This is sort of weird, but not at all in a bad way either. I'm just trying to figure it all out."

(to be continued)

Talomar Longden

He released her and moved between the leather chairs that made a small "conversation area" in front of the fireplace. "Please don't worry about being a trouble magnet. I think I've already survived the worst." He made an indication to a chair, "Please, sit and be comfortable. Is there anything I can get you to drink" A little wine" Port' Something else perhaps?" He was feeling a bit uncomfortable himself in that he found himself far more attracted to her than he was prepared for. He had to walk away in order to not be drawn further into those feelings.

At the indication of his hand towards the chair, she moved towards it with light steps and sank down with only a faint pause to tuck one small boot under her as she gazed at him with glittering violet eyes. "Ah, well some wine would be nice I think. I don't drink too much of it, but should be safe enough here." A smile dawned on her elfin features, beaming and impish, "Oh, well I am not nearly as magnetic as Tara. I don't actively look for it either." He moved to the wet bar and poured two glasses of wine. "I can assure you, you are very safe here. The castle is warded; and besides, I doubt that any would be so foolish to intrude in any way." He walked back and handed the glass to Tasha. "It thrills me no end that you don't go looking for trouble. Trouble has a way of finding us all without the effort of a search on our part." He gave her a wink and raised his glass to her. "To you, Tasha, may your magnetism only attract happiness."

Tasha blew a few stands of silvery hair from her eyes, and then took a moment to gaze about the room, noticing the elegance of her surroundings. It brought an appreciative smile to her lips, but soon her attention was captured once more by the Lord of the Manor and she accepted the delicate glass offered with a smile. Then she quickly raised it in a salute to his at the added words. She didn't mind being happy at all. "Oh, I will drink to that for sure. Rather be happy then gloomy any day."

She followed that comment with a sip of the sweet rich wine and chuckled, glancing over at him with gleaming bright eyes. "I must say you do have some impressive wards here; even rivaling the Blood House." She quickly followed that statement with another searching look, her gaze peering out from under a drifting of silvery bangs. "You're doing alright' I did worry about you when you went into hiding for a while, even if I can understand why and all."

He sat in the chair next to hers and nodded. "Yes, I'm doing really well, and thank you for asking. You know, Tasha, you always stood by me through everything, and I'm never going to forget that." He looked over at her, taking in her features from bottom to top. His voice became softer, "I like having you here, Tasha. I know I'm not going to want you to leave." He gave a little smile and sipped some more of the wine.

Her violet eyes took on a warm twinkle as she looked over at him while taking another quick little sip. "Well, that's what friends are for after all, Tal. I do tend to take that pretty seriously." Of course there was a sudden rise of color in her pale cheeks, something she hoped would be missed in the glow of the fire, or even blamed on the heat rolling from the fireplace in gentle waves.

"I really am grateful you don't mind me staying here. I will do my best not to disrupt, but um, " A pause as she tried to find the right words to use since she didn't want to scare him or anything. Having found no tactful way of expressing it, she simply blurted it out. "I have night terrors, so if you hear screaming, you can just ignore it." Always best to warn one about that so that they don't come charging in over some little nightmare.

He finished his wine, set the glass down on the table, then walked over to Tasha and gently removed the glass from her hand and set it on the table next to his. He then leaned down and placed a kiss on her forehead. "If I hear screaming I'll be with you immediately, and remove every fear," he whispered.

It was a startled look she wore, but she certainly found she didn't mind it at all. It was unique to her and didn't even think to resist as he plucked the glass from her hand and placed it down on the table beside the chair. She glanced over at him, her violet eyes gazing out from behind the long edge of bangs and she replied with a smile, "I just wanted to let you know. That little problem can cause disruptions in homes. So it's best to be aware after all; but . . . um, I would feel pretty awful to drag you from your own rest for it. It's sort of why I try and avoid sleeping, but I can only go for so long."

He took her hand and raised her to her feet. "You should never avoid sleep, and don't worry about me. I need very little sleep." He began to lead her from the study. "Let me show you your room. I hope it is sufficient."

Tasha unfolded her small frame from the chair at the urging of his hand, and then chuckled impishly as her head lifted to shake the bangs out of her eyes as she peered up at him. "Oh I am sure it will be Tal, even if it was just a little closet with a bed. I'm just not picky about that." Considering she tried to avoid sleep, it was a pretty good guess she wasn't just making that up. She fell into step with him and gazed around with interest as he led her along, rather in awe over the simple but tasteful elegance surrounding her. "You like pretty things. I can tell."

Count Longden smiled and slowly looked over her body.

"As a matter of fact, I do.?

I have traveled the paths of desire gathering flowers and carrying fire Raising a grave to the reasons behind me Looking for strength as you live to remind me I'm drawn to you I'm caught in you

October Project - Paths of Desire.

Pink bloomed lightly in her cheeks as Tasha glanced up at him. The words taking on a whole new meaning considering how he was looking at her. So she had to scramble for something clever to say and really did make a valiant effort. "So, um, who was the decorator for your wonderful home?"

A grin stole his face and Talomar had to bite his lip to get his smile back. He loved the way she changed the subject, and he was willing to let the former go - for now. "Well, actually most of the decorating has been my own ideas and preferences, for good or bad. Tara had some unique input to the style, but I've managed to survive her extreme makeovers and restore the destruction."

He led her up the wide, dark stairway with the woolen stair runner, portraits along the curved wall of the stair. At the top of the stairs they went down the front corridor toward his own personal master suite. "Your suite will be the special guest suite. It's close to my master suite. I've chosen that for your protection, but if you have those episodes in the night, it will also allow me to be with you quickly."

"Oh, well I am hoping I don't interrupt your rest or anything if I get one of those nightmares. I really appreciate you being so nice about all this too Tal. Really very sweet of you to open up your home like this." Tasha was noticing all the lovely d"cor and found it all very elegant and seemed to fit him rather well. Made a good setting for the fashionable man that he appeared to be.

They traveled down the second floor front hall and just before they came to the door of the master suite, he turned to his left and opened a heavy, dark-wood door. The room had already been prepared. There was a beautiful Victorian sitting room that entered through another doorway into the bedroom, with a private bath off that. Her belongings had already been placed into the room. "I hope that this will be adequate for you. A servant by the name of Katie has been assigned to you, and of course, Charles is always at your service."

He turned and put his hands upon her shoulders and his voice was soft, "Of course, I'm always here for you, Tasha." He pulled her into his arms and held her close.

Tasha knew she was likely repeating herself, but she was rather delighted he had been so quick to offer after all and wanted him to be sure he knew she truly did appreciate it. Entering the room was a surprise as it was so lovely she nearly gasped but Talomar quickly caught her attention, as he drew her close into a hug, and she was instantly returning it with a warm squeezing of slender arms. "Thank you ever so much. Don't know how I can actually repay you for all this kindness." She just gave him another tight embrace trying to convey that in action as well.

October Project - Paths of Desire.

It was not that Talomar hadn't just thought of several wonderful, intimate ways, but he could sense that she was tired and needed some rest. Besides, he wanted to search the books in his library concerning the rune on her palm. If others, or even Veighn himself, didn't remove it, he had his own ways to free her from it - permanently. His hands cupped her face gently and he placed a light kiss upon her lips. "I'm so glad you are here, Tasha. I'll let you rest. You must be tired from the day. I'll be in my study doing some research. If you need anything at all, it's the next door down the hall. Please...don't hesitate. Okay?"

While she was pretty exhausted Tasha still couldn't help the instant jump in her pulse at the kiss and a whispered giggle fell as she gazed up at him, violet eyes gleaming, but the smile that lit up her elfin features was a touch impish. "I won't bother you unless it's really, really important though. But you are right, I am pretty beat right now." A momentary pause as she tried to remember the last time she had slept and was pretty sure it was going on three days, which wasn't even that long for her.

He smiled and touched her hair at the side of her face, "It doesn't have to be important at all, my dear. In fact, an itch in the center of your back would be more than enough reason." He winked and backed away. "You can rest peacefully here. Nothing can harm you here."

"An itch huh?" That brought more bubbling giggles spilling from her as her silvery head tipped a bit into his brushing fingers. "Well, I am not actually used to that kind of service. Will take me a bit of time to adjust. My own personal back scratcher does have a rather wonderful sound." If anything her violet eyes just shimmered with mirth as she hugged him again. Been some time since she had hugged any out side of family and found she rather liked the sensation.

Talomar held her more tightly this time and was discovering that he was not having an easy time leaving her. He loved the feel of her body and the scent of her hair and flesh. He was feeling things he hadn't felt in a very long time. His voice was deep and soft, "I better leave now or else you might not get rid of me."

Tasha was also feeling things she hadn't in a number of years as well and the very thoughts sent another watching of color into her usually pale cheeks. Her bright violet eyes just shimmered with humor however as she reluctantly released him and brushed the silvery drift of bangs from her eyes. "Well I wouldn't want to get rid of you actually, but um, I don't want to keep you from your normal activities either. Wouldn't be right for me to monopolize your time and all."

"You can monopolize my time any time." He gave her a wink, "But I do want to do some research. Sleep well, and remember, if you need anything at all, I'm just a wall away from you." It was a wall that wouldn't hinder his progress at all. Both the sitting room and the bedroom had their own fireplaces and were beautifully furnished in the Victorian style. Talomar bowed and departed through the sitting room and then out into the hall, heading for his suite.

Watching him depart, she gave a faint sigh finding she really liked to gaze at him but eventually Tasha pulled herself out of the haze and took a look around the room. Realizing she was struggling to keep her eyes open. So, knowing that would be a losing battle, the small elf took up her pack and headed into the bathroom, just amazed at the sheer elegance of the rooms she was given. Made her careful not to make a mess as she got ready for bed, and was soon sliding under the warm covers. Fast asleep before she even realized it.
