Topic: The Visitors for Kitty

((Due to the possibility of the BHO board being bombarded with posts just for visiting Kitty, this thread is exactly for well-wishers to post under, as most visiting posts are generally just a single post. Not like Kitty can really respond much right now. And now back to your regularly scheduled program))

Those who came to visit the ill feline would be greeted by a manor that had huge walls surrounding it and magical protections that were impenetrable by even the most talented mages.

The gates were welcoming and once knocked or the bell was rung, a Trueblood elf guard with silver hair and eyes would appear seemingly from thin air and greet the visitor.

They would be silently escorted to the Manor and then taken to the room where Kitty lay resting. Almost always she would be tended over by either the elder Tass, her fae sister Chryrie, the dragon Jade, or one of the various healers or members of Blood House Onyx.

It was here they would be invited to sit next to the tailed moredhel and encouraged to share their sentiments.

Katyana Falconne believed in keeping promises, which was a rare thing for a seven year old child. But she had promised Chryrie that she would visit Kitty, so there she was knocking on the gates. She hadn't told her mother precisely where she was going because she felt as though this was something she should be doing on her own. If Aysel was old enough to go off and become a warrior, then Katy would just go her own way and become a healer.

The trueblood guard was a bit of a shock to the little catling, but she followed him silently to the room where Kitty was sleeping. She didn't really pay any attention to anyone else who might be in the room once she arrived moving right to the chair beside the bed, where she had to kneel to get a proper look at Kitty.

Not a word was spoken but a gentle touch of thought was extended to the sleeping woman, a child's rhyme and a dangling invitation

" One, two, three, What did I see" A pretty bird up in a tree. One, two, three, Will you come and play with me?"

Ewan Corinsson

Ewan acknowledged with the dead left arm he was feeling rather useless. However, since he was already in that frame of mind, and he knew he was useless to help Kitty, the logical conclusion to him was it was time to visit the feline.

There was no innate sense of magic to his human senses other than the prickling feeling at the center of his spine. Still, when he was brought to the bedside of the ailing moredhel, he sat and began to talk about random things.

"You always said one day you would get me to speak what first came to mind. Here I am to do so." A wry smile. "Spring is performing its magic on the world, but I wonder if that causes problems for you. Pollen on the fur must be a blasted nuisance."

"I seem to have a dead arm currently. They say it will heal on its own, but for now, I'm like a winged duck, and a sitting one at that." He looked to his dead arm, then back to the still figure. "Of course, nothing like what you are enduring."

He looked up at the ceiling as he thought of what else to say, "There are some changes being made with the guards and watch, and I hope they will help for a time. But of course, the best recourse is to keep changing and keep improving. I am trying to stay as long as I can, but there are several you can trust when you return to us. You know that."

Another change of subject, "The inn is its usual...half tavern, half bordello. I wonder if anyone has thought to call it the Red Lantern Inn?" A low, brief laugh, "See, that is what happens when I do not stop what I am going to say."

He sat a few more moments in silence, and then rose. Ewan leaned over to kiss her forehead, "We will see you soon, Kitty, and you can tug my hair again. It has not had a good tugging."

The escort saw him out.

Storm Divine

After Ewan had told her of his visit to Kitty, she kept her word and went for the Manor. With the weather warming still, she came without her cloak, accepting the silence from those inside as she was led to Kitty's room.

It took Storm a good five minutes before she decided to sit the stool by the bedside. At first she nodded to the healer inside of the room, but then she just looked. The differences in the Kitty she had seen months ago were not good. With a sigh, she sat in the chair, resting her elbows on her knees and leaning forward slightly.

Words did not come to her, and so the silence from moredhel added to her own. She was thinking of the memories; the afternoons of playful and harmless bantering.

"You know Kitty," she started softly, leaning back into her chair to end her lean. "when you would go into your state of woolgathering, Ewan would almost always turn to me, and suggest that we do something inappropriate to surprise you." A half smile "Of course you know that it never happened. But....what have you missed, hm' You might fall back into a coma if only you knew." She chuckled softly, studying the still features.

She became quiet again, the small smile fading along with her cheerful mood. In the stillness and silence, she thought of how the situation came to be. There was no reason for her to have to sit here. Kitty should be up and about, causing mischief and calming it all the while.

"I know that when I was gone, you and your sister looked something fierce for me." Her voice was quiet, even though it was just the pair of them really, as if it was a type of secret. "I remember when you saw me the first time I came back, you nearly squished me to pieces if Ewan had not warned you first." And that was the last memory she had. With a small scowl, she rose, a hand reaching to rest on her arm. "I will search for you, the way you did for me." A lingering pause, before she took deliberate steps out of the room, before either rage or grief got hold of her.

Though she could really not afford to add this to her agenda, she was already rearranging, organizing for something more.

Dracos Drasoini

After having a word or two with the trueblood, Dracos was allowed inside. The bundle of tween energy having had no such problems went about her business he assumed. Dark green eyes tracked the room before him, studying every detail. After a moment he strode towards Kitty's bed, ignoring others in the room if there were any.

"My old friend, I'm home. And I find you in a state like this. I should have never left the city." And he chuckled softly, looking down on her face. "Wake. Know the light of day, the touch of the moon, once more."

And with that he sat down next to the bed, as if taking up residence. "I'm also not moving this particular sending of myself until you do."
