*Aly had been out today in the markets. It was a rather overcast afternoon, quite dreary in fact. It reminded her of home. Clad in black leathers and that heavy velvet cloak, hood drawn, she walked with her head down to avoid the light of day. She had cast a shadow over herself. How odd this one must have looked, a woman heavily cloaked with a shadow.... only around her form. Odd. She had been so sick of staying indoors during the days. Of course she was a creature of night but she wanted to see what Rhy'din was like during the day... the people... the smells... Thus what brought her out this day. She walked slowly through the markets, her skin tingling slightly, even with the cloak and shadows the light still managed to make her skin crawl. She was always happy when a vendor provided a canopy for their clients to hide under while browsing. While looking for a new brooch, those violet eyes landed on something. Blue Tourmaline.... The slighest of smiles crept on her lips. It was a beautiful ring, but definatly a mans. A thick gold band with a star made of gold on top and a blue tourmaline centered in the middle of the star. Picking it up she twirled it around in her fingers a moment and then nodded. With a small smirk she moved to the vendor.*
"Sir, I'd like to purchase this ring, will you please include a wooden ring box in the purchase price?"
* The gentleman nodded, retrieving one of the beautifully carved rose wood boxes and set the ring inside. Coins and product were exchanged. The ring box was pocketed and on she went. What had she done? Did she really just buy the man from last night a gift? There was something there though.. .something about him. A friendship was blooming and for some reason she had been able to talk to him, unlike anyone else really. The depths of their conversations still giving her chills as she moved on to the next vendor. The ring, it would be a small token of her gratitude for him not completley giving up when she had been such an awful person to him. Circling vendor tables she found a stationary store. A piece of the paper was bought, just one and a quill was borrowed. Sitting on one of the foutains now she wrote her message.*
" In myth: Blue Tourmaline activates the throat chakra and the third eye, strengthening the skills associated with communication and psychic awareness. It also facilitates access to higher levels of intuition.
Does that answer your question now Wolvinator? All of the answers were in your eyes. I simply withdrew the powers of them to read you. I hope this gift will give you the power of intuition and awareness. "
*Of course his eyes were not really blue tourmaline but the color of them reminded her the power she had gained from her study of crystals and the ones she wore on her body here and there, always hidden from sight but always there. Glancing around she stood now, returning the quill to its owner and heading on. Wolvinator seemed well known in this city, who wouldn't know an admiral? Surely she could find someone who knew of him. She asked a store keep.... no she didn't know him. A food vendor.... no he didn't speak her tongue!... Finally a city guard.*
"Sir, do you know a Mister Wolvinator?"
" You mean Admiral Wolvinator Miss? Owner of the estate on grayskull lane? Aye I do miss."
"Yes.. yes that would be the one. Always in a cloak and piercing blue eyes. Do you know the address of this one?"
"Yes Miss. Everyone who is anyone in Rhy'din knows of the great estate. It is located at 1407 on Grayskull Lane. Though be careful Miss, it is heavily secured."
*With that Aly nodded and headed on to find Grayskull Lane. With a stop for directions here and there, finally she found the amazing estate. It was incredible. Gates.... she hated gates. Sighing softly she glanced around and decided to leave the note and gift.. .where else but in the mailbox. That would do. With that the shadow of day was gone.*
