Kaze had not slept in days.
She was covered in bandages, her wings seemed to be loosing their feathers and fading away. Slowly Kaze was becoming more and more mortal with her desperation. Though she was weak she moved like she had enough energy to build a rail road on her own. Toppling over the fragments of the wreck pausing each time she found something more of Wolvies.
She had stopped for an hour after finding the duffle bag she had packed for Wolvie the night before. He had argued with her, insisted he would do it himself, but she did it anyways. And she knew even though he didn?t show it right away, he was actually glad she had done it for him. Somehow she knew they shouldn?t have left in such a hurry, but Wolvie wanted to go back, he wanted to clear things from his head. She understood?
Now she was flipping over a piece of the hull. She paused looking down as something shimmered in her eye. Leaning over she picked it up. It was Wolvie?s com badge. Swallowing she held it close to her chest. She was hoping, just hoping that as a last resort she could use hers to call him. To hear his voice reply to her, but now she knew that, that would never happen again.
She looked around at the piles behind her? The lost hopes of maybe, just maybe, there would be a sign underneath that Wolvie was still alive. Still she repeated over and over to herself, there?s still no sign of a body.
