Before we even get started, I'd like to say that everyone is more than welcomed to play here. Like most good forums. there are some simple rules that we would like everyone to adhere to. This way it can be a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Even though this is labeled as the "Terms of Use" I prefer to call it "How to Play". Terms of use sounds too controlling and I could understand why people might veer away from that phraseology. Instead, this is a list of things that we ask you to respect, so everyone can have fun and enjoy a good story arc. Now that we have that out of the way, please read on:

1. Have fun. Thats it. You should know how to have fun so we don't need a long out description here, just do it! :)

2. We ask that everyone post In Character(IC), and if there is something that is wished to be brought up Out of Character(OOC) please do so in the OOC forum.

3. Have a look through the Forum, and you'll find that there is a list of area's located at 1407 Grayskull Lane. It is an Estate, and compound. There are quite a few areas of interest, and we implore you to familiarize yourself with them just a touch to make the story that much better.

4. We ask that you play with, and not at, us. Everyone wants to play fair, and there is no reason that everyone can't play nicely. Play with other characters, don't just try to walk in and kill everyone. Thats just not nice! Then again, everyone needs the good guys and bad guys to slug it out and make a great read. So use your best judgment, and find the middle ground. We find that if you think it out a little, it makes it all the better.

5. If you'd like to use Non Playable Characters (NPC's) or even Player's Characters (PC's) that already exist, we ask you kindly to give us a heads up and just ask our permission, you'll find that a "yes" or a "no problem" comes a lot easier that way.

6. Not everyone is all knowing. We'd appreciate if you didn't just waltz in and instantly know everyone, know everything about them, where they were born, social security... well you get the point. If you want to have some involvement with the characters, and you don't know them yet, play it out! Or... shoot us a question, and ask. As stated above, asking a question or having a request will get you far.

7. Have your own story? Want to play it out? Go for it! We just ask that you try to tie us into it a little bit. Building a history takes time, and we'd love to have a large background with all the characters we could.

8. Patience is a virtue. Sometimes we can't immediately reply to a post right away. Real life commitments obviously take priority over fun. Everyone has school, family, friends, jobs. This doesn't mean you're going to have to wait a week for a reply, but then again don't over anxious and expect one within minutes either.

9. Quality not Quantity. Be descriptive, post your heart out! Make us feel what your character feels!

10. The moderators have the right to remove, edit and delete posts for the forum at any time, for whatever reason, and without notice.

11. The Authors of all posts written in this subforum are the explicit works of those authors. Others wishing to copy or use the works without express written consent of all authors involved in the story's and/or threads is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: Copying works word for word, changing names and places, reposting posts elsewhere, publishing these works on any other forum or website, or claiming these works as your own.

Moderators of this Sub Forum and frequent posters are allowed to obtain verbal/simple written permission to use the works of other authors in this sub forum for reposting and individual storyline progression within the same sub forum: 1407 Grayskull Lane.

Now that we have that out of the way, we have one more "rule". Last but not least... have fun!

We thank you for your time in reading this, and really look forward to playing with you. Again... Welcome to 1407 Grayskull Lane!

Quick question..Rule number one says Just do it and Do not have a long out description..Ok...Now rule number nine says.. Quality and not Quantity and to be descriptive and to make you feel what the character feels.

Does this not make sense to anybody else, or is it just me?

And what exactly does "Long out description" Mean anyway?

So what would be the correct post?

Bob just looked at the couple and did not understand the concept and simply shook his head in confusion...

Or...

As Bob watched the couple over there in the room as he remained invisible his confusion grew, but just underneath was a sickening rage that threatened to devour their very souls in an instant, his eyes burned with a hidden intense flame completely unseen to anybody else, but the sensitive may have felt some what sick at what they were feeling as his own rage would threaten to spread and infect the souls of the others he was near, he decided not to do anything and he shook his head and regained his self control for the time being.

Perhaps rule number one should be...re thought? Or explained as it messes with rule number 9?

Just a thought.

It means that there is no long out description for Rule Number one, just have fun... plain and simple. As you may have noticed the other rules go into depth with explanations, so... thats why I just said have fun. If people don't know what having fun is? Then... maybe this isn't the place to post.
