After the attacks on Sera and Brian, Wolvinator had been kind enough to give Sera a home until he could assure her safety and get Brian home safetly.

Fortunatly for Sera, Wolvinator had found her in the woods after the attacks. He had brought her to the Inn to be be healed, which a man named Vinny and a woman named Aj had been able to do, they even assured her that the baby would be okay. Wolvinator promised to help find the kidnapped Brian and keep Sera safe until all of this was resolved.

Brian, someone who hated Wolvinator, had refused to kill Wolvinator after the old crowd he ran around with was hired to do so. Brian was the best at what he did and so he was sought after to do the job, but refused. He was working on turning his life around. Because of his refusal, Sera had been beaten and left for dead in the woods, right in front of his eyes and then he was kidnapped and not heard from since.

The situation did not seem to matter to Wolvinator, he was going to help Sera and Brian, no matter the circumstances or the hatred Brian held for him. He was a true hero.

After Wolvinator had Sera healed at the Inn, he brought her home to his Estate where he introduced her to his Lifemate, Aly. Aly was equally as kind as Wolvinator. She helped Sera bathe and even gave her clothing and food and made sure she was nice and warm when she went to bed. They both had been going out of their way to help her.

Although Sera missed her fiance terribly and was scared beyond words, she was holding up okay, but only with the help and strength that Wolvinator and his Lifemate were giving her.

It had been weeks and still no word on Brian. Wolvinator and his people had been searching as much as they could for Brian and followed leads, but still nothing. Sera's belly was growing more and more every day, she was getting some of strength back and was trying to stay as healthy as she could.

Aly had been great to her and even had a 24/7 nurse staying with them to care for Sera when she could not. The nursery had been decorated, Sera having choose all of the items that would go in it and Aly putting it together, they were becoming great friends, which worried both of them. If Brian was found would he and Wolvie be able to overcome their hate enough for Aly and Sera to remain close? Sera even felt a closeness to Wolvinator, he after all did put the babies crib together.

Today she sat on the couch and made an attempt to knit the baby a blanket, Aly had taught her how to work the knitting needles but wanted Sera to make the blanket, that way Sera could feel good about making something for the baby. So there she sat knitting a multi color blanket and watching the " moving picture box" as Aly liked to call it. Although her mind didn't really move away from Brian.

Where was he?

Looking down to her belly, she rubbed it slowly. The baby was moving around, it felt like it was trying to do karate in her belly, which was most uncomfortable. Sera was huge. Her small frame looked like it was going to topple over, she looked about as wide as she was tall. This child was going to be the death of her. Sighing softly, she rubbed where the baby was kicked. If Brian Fury came back, he was a dead man. A dead man! She blamed him for this. Of course she did, she wasn't going to blame herself. Anyday now she was going to be a mother and Brian was still not found. She heard the way people whispered, they all thought he was dead, but she was holding out hope that he was strong enough to find his way back. He was a fighter, he would do it. He said how much he loved her and how excited he was be becoming a father and a husband, surely that would help him in his fight for his life.

As she sat in the rocking chair, she looked out the window, watching the flowers that had bloomed in recent weeks. Her mind thought of nothing else but Brian, no matter how hard she tried, all she could do was think o him.

"Please come home Brian. Please. I need you." The sound of Aly's footsteps stopped her from saying anything more.
