Let's just say, for the sake of this vampire's well-being, that he was taking a walk this grand evening. And let's just say, that he happened upon this wonderous estate by pure chance. While this undead creature was casually strolling by the gate, his curiousity just happened to be struck. Topaz optics lingering on the well-kept plaque that read the address of the manor.

"1407 Grayskull Lane, huh...?" Muttered the corpse darkly as he surveyed the gate and all that was beyond. Seemed like a nice little building, though it reminded him of a time before he had his life drained away. It was a bit small, but it still did the job of bringing back an unwanted memory. Unwanted, yet he could not wipe it from his mind, nor could he look away from the manor.

Damn all that was living and good. He did not want to be reminded of his humanity. Why couldn't his consciousness just let himself be free of emotion? Subtle details were always the most ridiculous, after all. That, ironically, brought his thoughts over to Micajah. The other vampire who always seemed to have a kind of power over him. He knew what it was, but he wished it wasn't so. Part of the reason Edmund had wanted to rid himself of the petty emotions he felt. Petty, yet so powerful.

Speak of the vampire... He was making his way to the Estate to visit Kaspar, they had another appointment together. He had told her he would be coming by sometime in the near future. He never told her when, just that he was coming. Little Miss Mallory was trailing slowly behind him, rambling on about how glad she was that they were going to see, quote. Mommy, unquote. She seemed rather enthusiastic about the whole situation and Kiah appeared to be ignoring her at the moment.

"Would ye settle down, we be naught tha' far away." He chided her, he halted dead in his steps upon seeing Danaan outside of the Manor.

"Eddy-mund, good eventide." It was dubiously dark, simply because Danaan refuse to travel during the day unlike himself. "I thought I was to stalk ye, nae the other way around." He did a small gesture to indicate the both of them. "Ah!" He announced enthusiastically, "This be me sweetheart, Mallory Ivyral Hezekiah. Is she nae adorable?" He beamed from ear to ear, flashing a proud fanged grin.

At the sound of footsteps, his gaze was pulled towards the source. It just had to be that annoying creature, didn't it? "Hello." He replied to the usual "eventide" greeting, his own rather deadpan along with his expression. Though it brightened up just a bit at spotting the small child. So this was Micajah's daughter?

"I am not stalking you. At least not at the moment. If you want me to stalk you, all you have to do is ask." He mumbled the last part, wandering over to the other vampire to study the young one. He couldn't help but notice how much she looked like her father. Maybe he could wait twenty years and end up falling in love with her instead. It would certainly be more healthy than his obsession with Micajah.

"Mallory Ivyral Hezekiah? Do you have a fettish for names that're impossible to pronounce or something, Mica?" An ebon brow was quirked at that. "And yes, she's adorable." Did he really mean that? It didn't sound that way, but Edmund always sounded that way, so it would take quite a feat to be able to tell. "Like you." That last part added with a slight tug of his lips in a half-smirk.

"That be the cutest thing ye evah said to me," enveloping Danaan in an embrace abruptly before releasing to him.

"I named her after her Mother, Ivyral Genevieve... " A faint nod to that as if confirming the thought. He looked over the man's form once more before eyeing the Estate again. "Do ye wish to accompany me? I have to meet with the lovely Miss Rye... We... are settling an arrangement with me youngling. Mallory thinks she be her Mother and takes to her fondly... I advise ye to respect her and be kind though."

He nodded firmly, "And she has many who wish tae bed her so I advise ye to back off." A smug smirk, "I be one... Unfortunately she does nae find interest in me in tha' manner."

"Hmph." Turning away to hide the light tint of pink that was pooled under his facial skin. "And yes, I would. I would like to see what lies inside of this building. And who's this 'Miss Rye'? And I'm not making any promises as to my attitude. If I dislike her, I will be rude to her. If I like her, and I most likely won't, I'll behave.

"As for the 'bedding' thing, like I would. I'm not a shallow ass like you." So much for the compliments. "I'd at least get to know her before I think about anything like that."

Kiah

"Ye will nae say anything to offend her, I will be the one doin' tha' and ye will sit back and pretend to be a brother of mine or a lover, ye choice. She does nae trust easily and I do nae want ye to ruin our business conversation. Do ye understand me, Edmund?" His voice came out with an almost cold, demanding chill to it. Not the usual smooth tone he used that perked up ears and begged them to listen.

"Fine." He spit out, giving up. How could he manage to say no to Micajah anyway? Stupidannoyingsexywhitething! Besides, Mica was kind of scary when he was serious. Not that Edmund would ever admit that. Nope, he had too much pride. Well, what was left of his pride. It seemed he was loosing it by the second..

"Then we shall go," he declared and gave his daughter a small shove while moving for the gate behind her. He had expected Danaan to follow him, he moved a finger to push the intercom button located by the gate. "Miss Rye, I wish to speak with ye on the matters we discussed. I hope ye are nae busy. Tha' is all and... I brought me lover, I hope ye do nae mind." He glanced towards Danaan as if daring him to speak differently, true... He claimed to be straight, but he often acted as though he were the dominant boyfriend than anything. The way he taunted Danaan and acted around him, everything along those lines.

Indeed, he trudged along right behind Kiah. Being a good boy and keeping silent. At the "lover" comment, he couldn't help but smirk triumphantly. He wouldn't speak differently, for he was fine with the lie/almost truth the other vampire spoke. He was sure Mica would just use it as a way to pick fun at him, but for now he didn't really care. He was curious as to what kind of person this "Miss Rye" was anyway. The white thing said he wanted to bed her, so Ed was naturally curious as to why.

She made her way from her lazy lean on a leather couch, pushing a multi colored afghan off of her legs and shoving it aside. She moved down towards the gate, making her way outside the door. She had heard the voice and the way the man spoke, she figured it was dubiously Kiah by the hint of arrogance in his tone. She was curious as to who this lover of his was, she didn't think he had one. Especially with the way he had tried to get her to sleep with him. Her eyes were swollen and puffy, purple rimmed and bloodshot.

"Kas... ye be alright?" He speculated her slowly. He moved and lifted her up despite any protests she might make and carried her bridal style towards the door. "Mallory and Edmund... come," he demanded as he moved inside the house and looked over the surroundings before making his way off to the couch she had previously been laying on. A glance over the surroundings before laying her down and pulling the afghan over her. "Now, ye tell me what's going on before we discuss our arrangement and then Edmund and I shall leave Mallory here with ye."

Kaspar

"I'll be fine, I'm just a little stressed out.. Wolvie's gone and I won't go into details a the moment..." She answered, smiling faintly and moving herself to sit up She pushed the afghan aside, "It's nice to know that you can be amiable every once in a while though."

Her hazel gaze paused on Danaan, "First, introduce me to your friend and then we'll discuss our arrangement. We can converse about other things afterwards if we still have time. Sound good enough?" A neatly plucked brow rose in his direction. She then reached for Mallory and wrapped her arms around the child's waist, pulling her towards the couch to sit down with her.

"I'm Edmund," He bowed politely to the female. He may be a stuck-up vampire, but he was trained to have manners as a human. "And what would you like me to call you? Micajah has an interesting feat to mess up people's names, as he has with mine and Mallory's. I'm sure you're not normally called 'Miss Rye', now, are you?"

Kaspar

Date: 2007-09-09 20:39 EST
"Actually, my name is Zacharia Kaspar... I usually use my latter name seeing as how I am not fond of the former... I really don't mind his calling me that. It's his insinuating that he knows what I'm thinking that bothers me." She shot Kiah a glare before smiling faintly back at Edmund. "So you're his lover, eh?"

"Apparently." He shrugged, not really having an idea of what to say other than that.

She glanced in Kiah's direction suspiciously, surprised that he had managed to stay silent for even that long. "So... how do you want to settle this arrangement. Originally I was going to have Lang help me, but he left and Wolvie's not here at the moment. Other than that I don't really know anyone who would assist me. And even if either of those two were here I wouldn't know how to go about it." She glanced Edmund's way a moment before looking towards Kiah once more.

"I shall help ye and Eddy-mund might as well. As for Mallory, she shall be under your watchful hazels here soon. I jus' do nae want tae leave her here until ye start working for me... And ye may receive some coin as well..." He shrugged mildly at that, a huge grin in place.

"Does this lover of your's even want to help me or are you making decisions for him?" She asked him, her optics fell upon Ed.

"He's making decisions for me, but I'm fine with it. I don't really have anything better to do.." His gaze was on Kiah, wondering just what was going through that bleached head of his.

"Tha' is jus' perfect," he beamed and clapped those slender, bony hands together. "I shall be coming by ye place regularly then and Mallory will soon be like ye own." He bared those sharp fangs at the both of them, "So when and how often do ye want my presence here?"

"I would say as little as possible, but in order to learn any defense I'll have to put up with you..."

He shook his head slowly, "Rye, Rye... Tsk-tsk.. If I'm going tae be bedding ye in the future then I have to get to know ye... I do know tha' much... I mean, do ye think Eddy and I will be lasting forever? Besides... I need a woman to pleasure me as well."

Micajah got a bitch slap!

"You're disgusting and in front of your child?" She arched a brow and her nose scrunched up to show her distaste.

He blinked as his face was hit by the palm of Danaan's hand and a sheepish grin formed on his features. "Me humblest apologies," he moved to embrace Danaan. "Please forgive me, will ye?"

"I hate you." He muttered malignantly.

A perpetual frown formed on his features, "Kas... could ye watch Mallory for a while?" He glanced back to Danaan, turning his attention back on him, "I be verra sorry, mayhaps ye want tae spend some time alone for a few hours to relax?" He massaged Danaan's shoulders very lightly as he continued to embrace him. "Jus' the two of us, eh?"

He furrowed his brows to glare at the other before sighing in defeat. "Yes, please."

"Kas, I apologize... Ye do nae think it would be a bother to watch her, do ye?" He eyed her skeptically.

Kas nodded curtly, "I'll keep an eye on her... Would it ever be alright to leave her alone at the house or something? I mean... Vampires are more intellectual, right? Well... maybe not in your case."

"Tis fine... Jus' come back and check on her every so often, aye?" He turned to Dannan and hooked his arm through his elbow, "Verra well, we shall go now."

"And just where are we going?" An ebony strand raised.

"Where do ye wish tae go?"

"I don't have a place I'm fond of around here, so I don't have the slightest idea."

"Verra well, I shall take ye tae my place then."

"Well, lead the way." He said, waiting for the other vampire to lead him out patiently.

He nodded and escorted him towards the door, leaving Kas behind with Mallory. As much as he claimed to be straight and denied being crooked at all costs, he seemed quite taken with Ed. Even with how he teased Kas about bedding him. Who knew if he was joking about that or not though?
