Lydia Tolmay was excited to be in her first production. She eagerly waited until she received the script for ?Getting Over Alyson?. She frantically flipped to the first scene for her role as Eleanor Linden, the main role's mother. She read the scene to herself. Scene ? Honesty Helps TV Studio. Hron and Eleanor are demonstrating a sex position in front of a studio audience. This involves Hron lying on his back on a couch while Eleanor gyrates over him?

?Oh, good lord.? Lydia said, not usually speaking so harshly. Sex position? Gyrating? That was way out of the comfort zone for this school teacher. What could she do? She was so excited to act, but she had no idea her first role would be so? physical.

Madeline St. Claire was sitting in the Bristle Crios Vampire House living room watching Lydia read the script silently to herself. She watched Lydia?s face become more and more distressed. Upon Lydia's outburst, Madeline said softly, ?What?s wrong?? Lydia handed her the script, unable to even form the words. Madeline read a few lines silently, then said, ?I? Well. This role seems more suitable for me than for you. Are you sure you?re up to this??

Lydia said as if trying to justify it more to herself, ?It should be fine. I can do this. This is acting. People act outside of their normal... personalities. This will just be a little further from my own.?

Madeline smiled lightly and said, ?If you?re certain. No doubt your performance will be excellent.? Lydia smiled and retreated to her room in Vampire House to learn the script. She was hoping Yasmin would help her with her lines after she learned them. She wondered if the wild, blue shapeshifter was enjoying her role.

Yasmin

Yasmin was wandering around the Bristle Crios grounds reciting the script, the whole script, mostly because she thought that when you learned your lines, you had to know every line. It may have seemed a little odd for some people watching her to hear her recite every line, but it was definitely odd to watch her morph into each actor as she delivered the lines. That was just Yasmin.

She was in love with her role as Professor Vincent Harris-Fawkes, the drama teacher at the school. He was just as flamboyant as she. She definitely got into her role. Just as he believed the play in the movie was all about him, Yasmin began to believe the movie itself was all about her. Even when not rehearsing, she could be seen walking around as Harris-Fawkes, with her inflated ego held high. She even walked around RhyDin promoting the movie and signing autographs as ?Professor Vincent Harris-Fawkes.?

Lydia caught up to Yasmin one day and asked her to help her run through her lines. ?I must admit,? Lydia confessed to Yasmin, ?I?m having such a hard time getting myself into this role. I just can not see myself doing these things I am supposed to do and saying these things I would never say.?

Yasmin tilted her head and said, ?What do you mean? You talk about sex all the time when you have sex ed classes. All the students compliment how open and upfront you are in your classes.?

?That?s different, though.? Lydia said regretfully, ?I could never do the things Eleanor is supposed to do. I just can?t see myself in the role.?

Yasmin laughed, ?I can.? She quickly morphed into Lydia and said in Lydia?s voice, ?Watch me.? She proceeded to act out all of Lydia?s scenes and quote each of her lines eloquently and with sincerity. Lydia watched without a word, intently trying to remember how each line was given. By the end of Yasmin?s performance, Lydia felt much more comfortable that she could do the same.

Lydia was now confident she could play the role, seeing it done for herself, by herself, in a way.
