Aww man. It was just the other day I was looking for a way to mention either going to see or awaiting the release of "whatever" 21twelve movie was currently going on. That was what I told myself. Whatever movie they're working on over there, I'm going to try to find a way to mention it cause I like to do stuff like that. RhyDin restaurants, RhyDin bands, etc. People put this stuff out here for that reason, so why not, you know? Well I looked it up. 'Getting Over Alyson' will be released on the 25th of May, 2012' and I got real excited cause at the time of what I was writing it was really close to that and I could say whatever I wanted. 'Just saw the movie' or whatever. I was thinking like that. But I noticed nothing had been posted in a while, hahah. So I wasn't comfortable enough saying or doing anything like that until someone here might have. But that was what I was up to, and with The Judes, interestingly. I wonder if Quinn Benoit is aware of this Feb 14, 2012 post: 'COMING June 12, 2012: THE DEBUT FULL LENGTH ALBUM FROM ?HE JUDES!' also approaching time to get buzz and get noticed, like a movie coming out soon would. hahah, so time will have to tell on that one.
But we all know what it feels like when you don't want to do or work on something anymore. You just... stop haha. That's all there is to it, and the posts here were so very thorough as it is, aka a LOT of work (at least to me!). So if the passion wasn't there anymore, that staple of the content would have surely shown it (and nobody wants you to do something you don't want to or aren't enjoying, anyway). But I was talking to one of the muns who had a character in the Getting Over Alyson cast, and they told me there was an actual script that got sent to them, so that was a huuuge glimpse (for me) into the technical level that you guys(?) here were taking everything. With all the events like red carpet premieres and things, picture-tying visual, and of course behind the scenes stories of a moviemaker, it was a great thing you had here, and I for one am sad to see it shelved, because I am going to need more places to take my character, and one of 21twelve's newest films can no longer be that. But I'm not trying to say that "Oh, I was about to pay attention to you! So don't archive your folder!" I realize it's too little too late for that sort of thing. But what I am trying to say, is that I hope it was fun while it lasted, and that this person noticed what you were doing here, among others, absolutely. I know Alain DeMuer got involved early on (and I loved that bit on taking care of business down at with the studio lot), and I know people were applying for roles in the films. So I am glad that the interest was there. It was a brilliant idea bringing film to RhyDin, and I'm all for more stuff like that.
Here's hoping it might get resurrected one day, because if anyone should be the lead film production company in Rhy'Din, it should be 21twelve Studios.
