Beginning at the Start

A GreenStone Tale

Shea's story began long ago in A GreenStone Tale: Wednesday August 30th. This is where it all began, my first postings.

The New traveler comes to Rhy'din. Her purpose is unclear

"For travel, adventure, what may have you"

That was the tag line for the first post. A GreenStone Tale covers 23 pages. I will do a short run down of what happened.

We start after a great battle, where Shea nearly died. The story flows through some of Shea's past. Her love whom she lost, and the bonds of sisterhood. Here we also first see Willow. The Goddess whom would soon become well known. We also see some familiar names: Shavyn, Salice, Aiden, Mila. All names still seen in the current stories.

We come to know of the dark mage Alaric, and the evil he had wroth to the land and to the Kingdom Of GreenStone.

Here I did my first attempt of describing Edhel Ndor and GreenStone. Long before I went in and did it again and again later on.

What many don't know is that Shea didn't start on RDI. I know shocking right. I started playing Shea on AOL. In the rooms that used to live there including the first Red Dragon Inn.

Shea has been around since I the mun was 16. I am now 31. Her story I made in to what I call a small novella( all 400 plus pages of it), that never got published but I used a lot of what I wrote there and in what happened in the years via AOL for her story.

Now here's a bit of deeper history: in to the very first post: Adaron Istalindir, a man of mystery. Was never played by anyone, he was always just written by me. He was the man Shea needed and one that was in every way best for her, but he had flaws, secrets, that he took with him to his death. In fact it was his death that brought Crendia in to the realms, fully. Soon to be followed by Shavyn's first love, Zel, then soon by Kulbin, Sira, Mila, and then slowly the finding od Sim'Tahl much later on.

Shea had loved Adaron more deeply than any man, he had given her a son. Aiden. Who now is a man, and even had his own tale for a while there. The darkness came then, in this time under the power of Jinnalt. The once brother, who was jealous and fueled by fire, then tempered by another mans hate. Jinnalt became Keir and Alaric's weapon of choice against the sisters of GreenStone, and the men they loved.

Back to Adaron. A druid in all senses of the word : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Druid he spoke to the forest, and we later find out that his powers lie with the earth elemental. He was also an elf. Which gains him more on the ways with the wilds.

Now my style of writing then, is much different from now. Though I do fall back on some of that I/Me tense from time to time with Shea. I still recall making Adaron for Shea, creating that character. How she would see him and feel that feeling, one she couldn't quite place but one she knew.

When I made the choice to have him killed, there before her eyes and for her to know who did it. It was not an easy choice. I knew it would shape her forever. And so it did. If her love, the love of her life had not died, she would have never sought out Rhydin for Solace.

Shea did love again, though he choices in men, can be said not to be the wisest. Blahl who was also known by the name Taurn Binoa, brother to Kulbin and Sira. He was noble, to a fault. And his noble nature made him perfect for the picking, which is why evil took him so easily. ( more on that later)

So

Shea heads to Rhydin and is greeted by Des andGav

It is also in this time in Rhydin that Shea rides a white mare named Violette and has a hawk as a companion Losa . And also that Adaron's ghost haunts and helps her along, which continues for many many posts after ward.

She is welcomed by a dragon namedIcer (Who talks, which surprises Shea)

This was the last posting in A GreenStone Tale. But it did not end there, no there are many cross postings, continuations and stories that followed.

Ramblings Of an Elven Knight

This was linked in with the Elven Journal. Many of the posts crossed over, and many posts here were journal like.

Here in this first post Shea at the inn, and Gav is offering his ear. As he often did. Shea was deep in thought about love loss and moving on.
Nov 29, 2006 4:49 pm Post subject: A lesson in Balance: here Shea speaks to in part to Wyh. As she missed the elementals wedding. (Aiden did attend, which is how I got lucky enough to have the lovely icon) Shea had been badly injured and was lying through her teeth, a skill she got better at over time.

And Shea also has a long conversation with Connar here as well. One of their many long talks.

Ramblings was also used as a way for me to post some of the letters the sisters GreenStone shared.

Now here Id like to link you all to Connars latest writings. I am not even sure he would recall that his story line ,linked so deeply with Shea long ago. But If you read his newest stuff you will see some of the best work.

Look on the most current posts you'll see that term I used above in those posts.. Connar and Shea go way back, as does his almost hatred of magic and things of the undead. They went on their own ways. Connar to a different life and loves in it and Shea as well. Perhaps soon they shall see each other again, in Rhydin

Connar has been mortally wounded, and here in this post Shea digs deep and uses the same spell that once long ago killed her mother. Yet Shea is stronger than Adamina FairWinds was. Shea lives, as does Connar.
The posts that follow are many posts of Shea and Connar (I am hitting off the ones I feel are most important, not that back story isn't, but Shea and Connar have been over along time, and though she will always have love for him, she no longer loves him in the same way..)

The new love birds are seen kissing at the inn by Des and Gav: Shea was healed then tore apart when she thought Connar was gone, shelter found out he was alive, they had their time an remained friends. ( As they still are, though neither is seen at the inn as often as they used to be)

Mina is a baby, Connar sees Shea's child for the first time.. he recalls a nightmare he had about Shea being a vampire, and then it hit him it wasn't Shea it was her daughter. Which is true Mina is half vampire. But would never hunt and kill people, as is Connars worry...or fear
