"No, no! You don't have it tied right. C'mere and let me redo it."

Lydia emitted yet another long suffering sigh as she lifted her arms over her head, movements stiff and robotic. "I don't see the need for the ribbon anyways. It's a bit much, don't you think?"

"Not at all!" Griffith was quick with his response, and even quicker with his fingers to untie the ribbon about Lydia's waist. He moved around her, wrapping and twisting, looping and encircling the thin ribbon artfully. "It pulls in the waistline and accentuates your figure. Plus, don't you think it gives a little.. razzle dazzle to the ensemble?" He grinned wryly as he tied up the ribbon at the small of Lydia's back, then circled back to her front to look her over.

The dress she wore was elegant in its simplicity, a dark midnight blue that cinched in at the waist, with flowing sleeves and hemlines and transparent layers of fabric. Dark colors did well with Lydia, in that it was a startling contrast to her skin tones, eyes, and her hair.

"Razzle dazzle..." She eyed Griffith a moment before smiling. "You've been hanging around Eddie again haven't you?" Her eyes widened momentarily as Griffith's hands moved to her hips, tugging and adjusting fabric. "You know.. I'm not your little dress up doll." Her tone was slight annoyance, slight amusement. "Why couldn't you have gotten Erin or.. or Carley or.. Ivy or Lola for this?"

He was still hard at work, tugging here, pulling there, running hands over yonder... "Scary, baseball bat, rolling pin, and she said no, respectively."

"Oh. I wasn't aware saying no was a choice... Griffith. Hands."

"Right! Sorry." One last tug, and he withdrew his hands away from Lydia before looking her over. With a smile, Griffith nodded in approval. "Perfect. Though I don't think this is the outfit I'm going to use come Friday..." He was musing, more or less talking to himself.

"Outfit for Friday..? What?"

"Nothing!" All smiles again, Griffith grabbed Lydia's hand and started tugging her towards a mirror. "Come on and have a look see, you'll love it. Should do something with your hair though.. I think brushing back your bangs would really work with this outfit." With another long suffering sigh, she was tugged along.
