He was walking around the marketplace, investigating the various shops and storefronts when he noticed A Stitch in Time. He stopped for a moment, then moved closer. He casually peered in the window and didn't seem to notice anyone inside. Maybe the place hadn't opened yet. Curious, he made his way back to the door and pulled out a small rod. With a glance around, he pointed the rod at the door handle. The rod hummed, the end glowing blue for a moment, and then just as suddenly it stopped and he backed away from the door

"Well, I guess that would have been too obvious now." He turned, glancing down the block again, and set off at a casual pace, looking as though he belonged right where he happened to be, offering a polite greeting or wave as he passed various people.
