It had been few months since Jes has been in Rhy'din. He knew he had missed quite a bit, and while those few months passed by in Rhy'din, it was nearing a year in Vana'diel. A year of constant work, as Jes and Edea with the help of Nain and a few others set out to gather enough dem fragments, and fuse them into a new crystal. A crystal that would lead them back to Rhy'din, and their dearly missed Family/Clan Members. A crystal that would lead them to Raven, Kerrithra and Atheala.

The Bastokan Government could not sanction such an outing, as it would require venturing into other nations to search for the fragments. And with the whole 'Fratello/Handler' incident coming to light, many nations were not too fond of Bastok as it stood, even if a new Council and President had been set into place. This left Jes, Edea and Narin to take a leave of absence from their duties in the Military, and once more certify as adventurers in order to accomplish what they needed to do.

They contacted some others would be able to assist, and were joined by Silvanesti, who was easily one of the most powerful Mithra mages ever to come out of Windhurst, and Dolla, who was a very strong warrior and well respected despite his inexperience in regards to adventuring. These five set out to recover the fragments needed to create what Jes had dubbed 'Tele-Rhy'.
