The first thing she runs into when she enters into the Inn is an apparent crazy woman bothering two hatchling dragons. That was enough to put her in a bad mood. She didn?t accept that the Magistrates sanctioned the woman either. Then there was the man acting as if he was a friend to the dragons. It was a welcome relief for Lupinius to wake up.
Lupinius stirs again, hearing a familiar voice pull him from the darker memories of his past and into the world of consciousness. He stands and stretches again in the way that large members of the canine family have and looks around.
Onyxia moved to the hearth and settled on the couch. Lupinius? head tilts at Onyxia as the light wraps itself around him and shifts him back to his more human form, ?Well, now...what's happened to make you cross, m'lady?"
She tilts her head at the carrier, "The application of laws that don't exist."
Lupinius? eyes scan back and forth quickly as he consults his memory for a moment - even asleep; his mind is constantly recording what goes on around him, mostly for later processing. "...Oh." He looks over at the carrier and Alicia. "Yeah, I know about her... a friend of mine said something about her once to me."
She shook her head, and looked over to Lupinius, "And how are you this day, Gabriel?"
He stretches again, this time much more human-like. ?Oh... you know... just about the same. Nothing interesting happened last night, but who knows what tonight will bring?"
She tilted her head to the unfolding drama, "It has begun." She was looking to the one bothering the dragons now.
Lupinius looks that way, eyes locked on the situation. He's met Icer once, when Brian Ravenlock had held a war council of sorts - well, met in passing. Anyway, but any ally of Lord Ravenlock is a friend of his, and he can, thanks to his empathic abilities, feel the treachery within the man. "...Forgive me, but I may have to become a part of this drama..." His eyes widen a moment later as Icer returns to her normal size again. "...Or maybe not."
She shook her head, "I have his scent." She frowned as the man grabbed
"...Lovely." Lupinius reaches a hand up to the amulet at his neck, which glows for a moment with its own inner, violet light* "And I have help on the way. Any idea where he might have gone?"
"Where else can you take a dragon around these parts without having too many bystanders?"
"...Good point. Shall we?" He touches the amulet again, and it flickers once more as he stands.
She stands flexing those hands, "Aye." She took a moment to offer a bit of common sense advice to the woman from earlier about a safe place to place your body while astral traveling.
Lupinius motions to the door as the light shimmers around him. ?After you." The voice comes out of the light, which fades a moment later to reveal the oversized wolf again.
Onyxia shoulders the door open and shifts once she is outside. Two wolves, one silver in color. But the battle had already begun. It did not last long though. Two demons and a lycan were enough to send the slayer into a retreat. He may have prepared for opposition, but not on this scale.
Mathias just noticed his barrier was failing him. He had been expecting dragons, not demons and whoever this magic using woman was. He shot to the side, then with a muttering of words disabled the barrier so that he could escape. A moment later, with the barrier now gone, he had vanished. Oh, he could be followed, but with two injured dragons. Not likely one would.
