Daiyouji looked over the great feilds of his homeland from the Bunkei Road, he wondered if he would return during the same season. Summery notes played on his nose, pollen drifted almost like fireflies from the Sanpo Willows.
He tightened his grip around his sword as he thought about his unknown father there was so much to ask this man seeing the rest of his family dared not to speak of those times. Sighing he wiped some sweat from his brow and continued under the sun on his horse, he would reach the shore tomorrow and then he would find himself lost. He never traveled to another country and was nervous for the second time in his life the first time was when he was arranged to marry a girl from Kishona.
"So this becomes my task as a man, the head of our family. You could have given me a simplier task mother. Why must I find that man"?
He thought about it once again and his grandfather's words.
"Right -- you would lecture me now wouldn't you"? He smirked tilting his straw hat over his eyes as the sun continued to follow him all the while high above two birds, ravens followed him as well. One of them circled for a moment then split from the other heading straight out to sea.

Daiyouji cocked his head upward following the streamlined clouds overhead; he arched back around to the horizon to the sea. It was a few hours and he could still see the silvery glint in the distance. He patted Fian and him and the horse continued onward. He wondered where the raven had gone to, it found refuge on the boat for days as soon as this land came into sight it seemed vanish.

Hours passed and he stopped under a tree to rest, feeding Fian an apple and himself one with a dance of water. He sighed looking to his horse. ?We?re far away from home now for sure Fian; I never would have imagined leaving? I suppose it?s too late to turn back now. For all I know he may not be alive?. He had hoped that was the case at least he wouldn?t have broken the promise to his mother.
Fian grunted seemingly to understand his emotions; she nodded and toyed with the travel sack laying beside him for another apple. Daiyouji smirked and patted her nose. ?At least wait until we get to Rhy?Din I don?t know if my money will be good there or not?. He stood and mounted her again, after all his discipline taught him to be resilient and so too his horse must be as well. He thought twice about that silvery distance behind him and shook his head looking forward on the road.

Soon he would come into contact with towering buildings and smells foreign as the faces and beings which inhabited this land. As luck would have it, rain would fall as he entered the city. He unfolded the map his grandfather had given him and looked at the notes once more. Just a re assurance he asked a passerby. ?Pardon me, can you tell me where to find Dewberry Cove??
The hooded stranger stopped and turned to look at him, it was a Wasservolk, her pale blue skin and faded eyes glinted with hesitation. Daiyouji had never seen one before and tried his best to hide his curiosity at her.
?Dewberry Cove? only the Salvage Yard remains on that old road. Go left at the square and head out the western gate?. She turned away ghostly into the rain crowded streets, he hadn?t time to thank her. He continued on as he had suspected, finally he gave in as he was drenched; he needed a rest and decided to try his money in this land.
