Vextirias

(If anyone involved in the SL wants to talk to Vex for whatever reason feel free to reply in here, she'd be around her secondary lair in the glen, not much of a secret that if she isn't around town she is likely either at the volcano on the Isle or there!)

The first day she had heard of Mery being taken by the Jaffa caused her to go searching half the countryside and city trying to find any sign of him or the creatures that took him with no success. That in combination with the anger that someone very close to her had been taken was a frustrating feeling, a feeling that almost made her simply want to start tearing apart everything till she found him. As a red dragon, that is what her instincts, her being, told her to do. After all, among dragons from her lands, red dragons that were provoked, insulted, or angered by someone or something weren't known to just shrug it off. Quite the contrary, most legends of a red dragon that had been angered to that point didn't even scratch the surface of how truly destructive these dragons could be when they wanted to retrieve something stolen or to simply retain some of their wounded pride.

Given this, it may be easier to understand why Vex was a bit absent at the moment. She'd stopped by the inn a few times to hear what information she could and twice out of the three times she'd been rather aggressive and moody. As much as she tried to control it, it still managed to seep through. It was this that finally made her decide to simply stick with staying near the lair she had in the glen or visiting Anya while she was home. It was the visits to Anya that made things more bearable for her. Anya and the rest of her family just seemed to know how to help her relax and stay calm while she was around them.

And it was indeed probably for the best that she was doing this and leaving the scouting and tracking up to Aja, Gem, Icer and the rest. She knew that if she came across the Jaffa she would not hesitate in attacking them no matter their numbers. That could prove dangerous, for herself and for anyone else that may be with her at the time. So for now, she would wait, prepare, and conserve her strength till they needed her. And when they did, she had no intentions of taking prisoners, she full well planned taking out her anger on and killing every Jaffa she could find at that point whether they surrendered or not. You know what they say... 'hell hath no fury like a dragon scorned.' (Cheesy I know, but I thought it was amusing! XD)

And this was exactly what she was doing, perched atop the hill where she had dug her lair at in the glen and surveying the surrounding area. It wasn't only anger that was getting to her, but as the days progressed worry, worry for Mery and for Renne, evident by the muttered prayer to the wind. "Mery, Renne... Please be safe."
