As Kyra dreamed her mind wandered into that other realm. All life could be seen and felt here. All coming together in the music she waded through, but she was not lost this time. Even though she was unconscious her mind was still with Drake. Their threads were woven together now, as though they had been meant to be that way all along. Other threads connected and crossed as she followed along what had become their song.

Recently Drake had told her about the strange angel whose wife he had saved. Sandrine and Samantha, their connection was strong but very strange to behold. Samantha, a human, was so full of light and white magic. Sandrine was an angel? But unlike any that Kyra had ever seen, or at least remembered seeing. Completely unique.

In Sandrine?s thread she saw the darkest energy there was. It was so dark it was bright. A black light? What sort of angel could be wound around such darkness? She may have followed it to the source of the darkness but she found a new thread that was even more intriguing.

Another angel, the twin sister, so bright yet so sad? She listened to the song that was hers as she traced it to the source in the Rhy?Din . The thread was connected to a rose bush, though physically tied, it?s consciousness wasn?t there. It was in the ether with her, she could talk to it and feel it. The sorrow was so overwhelming Kyra began to cry in her sleep.

The connection between them broke off abruptly as she pulled out of that world, as though it burned her. The pain? That creature of light was trapped by her agony. Caught in her own mind, which had become her prison.

On her return to the corporeal world Kyra realized through the pain and the beauty that was Rose, that to give meaning to her own life, and validate the powers that she had been given she must go to these lost souls and give voice to the melody that was their life force, give them their song which is the truth of who they are, to help them find the path that their life was meant to take.
