Rauland Dearing, Prince of Fairies in Huyglen, was taking on a new job apart from saving his beloved Lia d'Irvi in a decade-long campaign. What was this job? Mail courier. Because there was no available path to Huyglen that was not already telepathic with humans that lived there and had permission to enter the realm, Kamonbak of Adenna and the young prince got to discussing how to deliver the bed-ridden Palliator's mail to him.
"He could have letters coming in. People that care about him. He'd feel so much better if he knew they were out there. That would cheer him up in a heartbeat! And that's exactly what he needs! We at LEAST have to find out." Rauland whispered to Kamonbak in the doorway of the bedroom where the sleeping Dyarhk lie.
"Alright, Rauland. Check his letterboxes. If there's cards waiting for him, we'll bring them here and set them up for him." Kamonbak gestured with a hand apart of his crossed arm pose.
"WHAT?? To Rhydin?? By MYSELF?!"
Kamonbak sighed, "I'll go with you, then. But I will revert to my odachi form outside of Huyglen. There will be nowhere for you to hide yourself as a fairy."
"That's fine! I don't need to hide. I am royalty, after all. People will see my face and know immediately who I am, and that I know Dyarhk." Rauland said quite proudly.
"Very well. We will check the mail once daily."
