"This is ludicrous! Adenna has always depended upon its relationships with the neighboring regions. If you pass this, it'll be the end of our great nation!" the enormous man had harked in his Kingly garb. Precise armor pieces that doubled for fantastic pins to his both red and wheat gold cape.
"Calm yourself, Vic. If we indeed aim to survive this threat, it will be with a clear mind." Rahea sat cool and clad in black armor, a small fragile and delicate crown atop his head. he was not a man that displayed his rule anywhere above softly. He and Vic had aged quite a bit in sixteen years. But both of them had done so for the better. Vic resembling Zeus himself in the abundance and whiteness of his beard and hair. And Rahea with a short beard and hair, completely gray. And to look around the magnificent table would suggest high powers, for they were the only two that had aged.
Atae sat unchanged in her beauty the near two decades ago and likewise with Eizou standing beside her, apparently having said something a while back in this discussion. A powerful voice in this, "senate."
Techichi wore the very bust-complimenting uniform of the Adenna High Guard; Rahea's previous job before kinghood. Neither had she, aged. Siovanui inheritance. And she sat thinking in the large open chamber unused for most of its time, as previous one of Daichi's numerous castle quarters that never saw occupants during his rule, like his throne room. It was ill kept, but legendary for the moment, the many dead leaves surrounding the perimeter of the oddly lit room. Windows that were in no way, what windows were ideally for. Daichi's doing, from the very construction of this great wing.
Dark white, almost yellow tinted as warm sun, and such was what poured into their discussion hall. Not sunlight, but the light that came with the warm color. It was just bright enough. And the great terrace, seen from outside Adenna to be the most complimentary of those collectively unique to the castle, it let in natural light, unfiltered, raw. And so were the leaves there, and everywhere else about. Needing to be, and very much so, on the list to be completely restored. "What say you on all this, Keiichi?" Rahea had asked.
The beautiful woman looked to him and did not remove her pointer finger from her lips by the bridged hands before her. "We should stand independent until this issue is resolved."
Vic instantly fired back, fist on the table. Thick, pure, walnut. "NO! If this is done, you may as well burn our fair city to the ground. Without our connections, we are susceptible to attacks of all sorts. You remove our armour." the insides of his fists beat on his breastplate.
"Victor... your outbursts. Mind them. I am not so old as to not still put you in your place." spreading silence throughout the room. Eizou finally spoke up, "Techichi is right..." she smiled, hearing her familiar name called by her dear friend in such a serious setting.
"We are safer without depending upon our fellow countries to extend their hand. I move for an undetermined period of isolation for Adenna. Let us concern that within our own walls, and not that outside them."
Rahea examined him, nodding understandingly. Tetch massaged her temple singlehandedly, eyes down and closed for the time. "What do you say, Atae?" Rahea asked. The lovely woman beside Eizou held lovingly at the gold band around her bicep. "I disagree with Eizou. We'll be far more on edge, on guard knowing we have not given the full trust to the neighboring nations. Thus we face our primary hostile, and the all of them neutral. But I do not see it hard regaining our status once this foe has been identified, and dealt with."
And Vic fired back, yet again. The only one of the collected that had to stand and shout to give his input. "Unrealistic! We don't even know where to begin. We know NOTHING of the enemy!"
"but.. you DO know your enemy." The words echoing across the room after Vic's newest outburst. It came from the right.. Yet, nothing exactly had been standing in its place. No -- not yet. It took a few moments before the ground showed signs of being tampered with. Light etching out from the very floor and began to create that human-sized circle of magical energy. The lines criss-crossing, circling.. even writing in a language that could be considered unknown to the people of this great city. But finally, with a flash of light, the figure of the one who spoke came into sight.
Adorn in heavy white robes that cascaded and hid the figure that stood beneath it. Exaggerated shoulder armor with an elegant elvish curve to it -- gold in color. Stripes of white fabric hung from them with designs of gold embroidered on it. Though the stripes had been long and grand in their appearance.. that brilliant silver hair that sat upon the woman's head only took attention away from it. Long, the right of it curving to rest in front of her very chest while the left found itself tucked away behind her back thanks to a large, circular hair piece that kept clipped against her very hair. The item itself was gold in color, and what sat inside and shimmered from whatever light touched it had been a jewel of emerald green.
