I see you all day, every day. I see you wake in the morning with your smile and bright eyes. Why are you so happy? Did your pleasant dreams erase the nightmares?

I see you kiss those you love when you leave them for the day. Why do you have such love for those beings? Do you know that this day might be the last day you come home to them?

I see you wander the town. I see you stop to talk to anyone and everyone. I see you try to brighten their day as yours is as bright and sunny as a perfect summertime moment. Why do you care? Do you think they want you to make them happy like you?

I see you in the evening with your friends and family. I see you give your love so freely. I see you ignore those that think less of you. I see you with those that do not deserve you. Why do you stay with the undeserving? Do you think they really care about you?

I see you at home with your husband. I see you cuddle close to him and offer him comfort and love. I see you take pleasure in looking at books with him. I see you flourish in his love and warmth. Why do you think I have let you stay with him? Do you know that I want you at your full potential?
