"I'm...lost"

She whispered out softly as she had tried to take a detour in the southern glen to get home faster. She took the wrong detour..and only ended up further away from home then where she thought she'd be. She now found herself shivering, without a coat..stuck beneath the stars.

She looked down sadly, upset that she might not ever find her way back. She was cold..hungry and tired now..and most of all at nighttime? She already felt unsafe. Her sketchbook was hugged dearly to her, as her emerald eyes glistened with tears. She breathed softly listening to the sounds around her.

Music...such an up-beat and exotic tone filled her ears. Some where in the distant there was at least one person that she may beable to get directions to find the way home. As hesitant as she was she had no choice. Her feet carried her twords the sound, her little dress swaying on her hips, goosbumps went up and down her spine.

The building stood infront of her. She gazed upon it. The music was loud, the lights were dimmed. She'd been happy and most greatful she came to what she thought was a concert hall.

Her small hand trembled on the door knob, pushing it open gently before stepping inside closing the door quickly behind her. It was warm, the smells of Inscence being burned relaxed her. She smiled momentarily brushing off her pure white dress before looking up.

And there she seen it..the women dancing gracefully on the stage. The room full of men just sitting there in awe watching hips sway, feet move, and bodies twirl. She turned her head to watch the Cat girls running around to serve everyone. This very place made her blush, and almost run out the door...That was if it wasn't so cold outside.

She looked for a place away from people, but all the seats and booths were taken. There were a few seats at the bar open but they were all next to someone, comfort already low at the moment. She had no other choice...Stepping carefully, her trembling little body made it's way to the bar.

"E-excuse me...does anyone...K-now the way to the....F-firebird Manor..from here?"

She barely squeaked that out and she'd be lucky if anyone heard her speak. Her legs were like jello now about to collapse.

Martin, the Alley Cat Club's bartender, was a round grandfatherly old man, who spent most of his life behind a bar. He'd seen and done a lot, but things like this poor lost little girl always got to him.

"Ahh sweetheart, how'd you end up on this side of town? You shouldn't be in a place like this on your own." Kind eyes looked over Kira before he was nodding his head resolutely. "You sit down and met Ol' Marty get you some juice whiles I find someone to walk you home."

The kindly old man set out a glass of pale pink juice, cherry lemonade the kind with fizz, something new they just got in for the summer. Keeping one eye on the girl he yelled out. "Yo! Kenteth, We got ourselves a lost kitten who need tending."

It only took a few minutes for the young man to join the pair at the bar, And when he got there he did his best to smile reassuringly at Kira " Well now, what seems to be the problem miss?"

Kira took the glass greatfully in her tiny trembly hands, the certain juice having a hard time staying in the glass. She wondered what kind of drink it was, putting her face to it trying to sniff it, but the bubbles tickled her nose. Quickly pulling her face away with a giggle she let the liquid slide down her throat. The same tang as her favorite cherry juice, with the nice sour sweetness of lemonade.

The fizzy bubbles made her feel a bit more better.

The kind old man had made her feel a bit more comfortable, as she took a seat since her legs still felt as they were about to collapse. She continuously sipped her drink an emerald eye kept on both of the men.

She had no other choice..she needed to get home..she would have to speak. Finally taking her mouth away from the glass, her cheeks were pale pink, looking quite cute with her pale skin she spoke softly.

"I-I'm sorry to trouble you..I'm lost..I live in the firebird Manor."

Not that she would know the directions or anything, or even where it was in rhydin, but she knew her way there when she was in certain places. She let out a deep breah, obviously the loud noises were making the girl flinch.

The younger man smiled, "Well thats no trouble at all little one. My name is Kenteth Kaut. Finish your drink while I let the others know where I'm headed and grab us a light and then I'll lead you home."

Kenteth ducked into the office and spoke quickly with Kireth. "I'm walking this girl home, you know I don't like letting any girl wander the streets at night"

Kireth nodded then went back to noting figures in her ledger "Just be careful Kent"

Grabbing a flashlight from the drawer of his sister's desk he made his way back out to the bar.

"You ready to go Kitten?"
