Topic: Picture Postcards

Arriving in the afternoon mail at the Alley Cat Club was a brightly colored picture postcard with the image of a large lizard on it. On the back scrawled in Shey's friendly lettering

"Having a great time on our honeymoon, Still waiting for the baby to come though. We are halfway across the Kisani desert now, on our way to introduce Dark to my father Hopefully by then he can meet his grandchild too!
All our love Shey and Dark
PS. Can someone water the plants on the roof terrace for me while we are gone?"

Martin smiled seeing the card and tacked it up on the bulletin board behind the bar to show to all the fans and family who had been asking about the missing performers, before heading to the back to go water the plants.

Curiosity got the best of her, like it would a young kitten seeing the postcard with the lizard on it. Scrunching her nose, she walked over to the bulletin board gently taking the tack out of the card flipping it over to read the lovely hand writing of her friend. Her hand gently strooked the card as she missed her two friends dearly. Without someone there to cheer for her, and tell her how proud they were, she felt a bit lost. If only she could send them a postcard back to show them that everyone was missing them both at the club. Thinking about the old message in a bottle trick, she decided against it seeing they were in the desert.

She took the card and tacked it back up to the board. Her hand gripped the little watering can, going into the kitchen to fill it up with the fresh water. Swinging the can from side to side she made her way up to the roof terrace and grinned seeing the leafy greens that decorated the top. It was the least she could do. After all, they took care of her trouble making kitty while she was gone. Tipping the can over humming a sweet tune she let the water drip onto each plant slowley. Looking out to the street she kept lookout for the two people she missed the most.
