Jingle jingle was the sound the young girl made as she made her way up the path to the club. Tiny heels click clacked up the stairs leading to the front door of all the excitement talked about all around town. A hand was placed to the doorknob, the door was pushed open. The small whiff of air went past her from the door, as she took in the quite familiar scent of atmosphere that stood before her. The beautiful lights twinkled in her bright blue eyes, as the musical sounds filled her ears, giving her the urge to dance. Such a lovely place to be at night, expecially in Rhydin.
She just watched. A delicate hand was placed on the door frame, a lean on her arm As she watched the customers that sat in wait, almost drooling over the dancers. It was a look, no touch sort of thing. But most men were happy with just that. The waitresses scrambled throughout the bar trying to keep everyone happy, the bartenders were hard at work making drinks, and the performers were easily casting attention of others.
She made her way through the busy crowds. It had seemed a bit more of a larger crowd since she had last seen it. She had not been to the club for a while due to certain circumstances. But she was happy they still held her job position for her. After all it was definitly a great place for her to spend her nights when she wasn't busy. Surprisingly not tripping once coming here in heels, she made her way to the dressing room, Closing the door behind her.
She would of wore her outfit to the club except for the little nippy tempurature that would of made her small body freeze if she did not wear some kind of warm clothing on herself. She grabbed the headband that contained the fuzzy cat ears ontop of it, placing it on her head surprisingly looking like they were supposed to be there considering her hair covered her real ears. She took the outfit slipping it up from the bottom, putting her legs through the designated holes, pulling it up over her chest, letting it fit snuggly there. The pinned long fuzzy tail peeked out through her long light brown hair, her Bright blue outfit matched her eyes, and the little bell on her collar actually looked like it was made to be there. She didn't do anything else to make herself glamorous, even her hair was just placed down. The only thing she needed to put on was a smile..somthing she had forgotten to do much of late, and even when she did it was a fake one. She tried to force her lips into that upward curve, but as much as she tried it didn't look right. Her real smiles were much more bright and convincing. Perhaps when she would step outside into the club and seen everyone she would feel more up to it. Stepping into the bar area She grabbed a round tray that would hold drinks and placed it to her side with a sigh looking around.
On the other side of the bar sat a table of good looking men. The women would cast glances their way the whole night, sending winks and little flirty messages. The guys all laughed at the women's attempts to catch their attention and ended up buying them drinks, striking up a conversation or two, and in the end getting their number. One man stood out from the others though. He was not trying to flirt with the other women, only came there to watch the action, and enjoy the sights. His muscular build was leaned back in a chair, those feet covered with large brown boots layed comfortably across the table like he owned it. Piercing blue eyes remained closed as he had an elbow leant on the decent sized sword next to him. Spikey short black hair made the man complete. A yawn came to his lips, his friends were boring him with ignoring the fact that he was there. They were always like that when it came to women.
Opening his eyes he looked twords the bar feeling his mouth dry, in the need for somthing to drink. All the waitresses seemed to be busy at the moment taking care of the other customers..except for one. She looked quite timid, her small frame standing by the bar holding that tray ever so close to her body. He could see the color of her eyes reflecting in the lights, somthing that drew him immediatly to her. It wasn't just a normal waitress..it was someone he knew. Feeling his heart race as he continued to look at her he stood up making his way through the crowd now.
She bit her tounge a bit. It was a rough night for her, considering she hadn't done this many times, she had forgot she had to go to the tables and ask anyone if they needed somthing to drink instead of them coming to her asking. She wrinkled her nose a bit looking to the stage watching the dancers and the muscians perform. Envy was the word for her...
A small little tug was placed on her tail. Thinking she might of accidently moved and got it caught on somthing she tried to pull away from the tug but only felt it tighten. Quickly turning around to see what she was caught on, warm lips were placed to her forehead in a kiss. She could not even see the man's face, she seen the large figure infront of her, and her first instinct was to hit him away. Taking her fist and swinging it at him, her hand was caught in a much larger one. He pulled his lips away from her forehead as he held her balled up fist with a smirk. Turning her head up to look at the man, the bouncers immediately were trying to tug this man away from Uriko, holding Uriko in their arms to protect her from this man. She stayed still for a moment watching the man being taken away by the bouncers, it didn't seem like he was struggling...his piercing blue eyes caught hers though. She only knew of one man who had such..beautiful eyes as that. A childhood friend..someone who she knew for years and cared deeply about, was right infront of her eyes being drug away from her once more. She swatted the bouncers away from her running twords the man leaping at him, wrapping her arms tightly around him, as if she was trying to hold him back from being pushed out anymore. The bouncers stopped letting the man go as he turned her way and smiled. Muscular arms wrapped around her tiny frame into a bear like hug, almost leaving Uriko breathless. She could care less about breathing at the moment..tears dabbed her cheeks as she held that hug for a moment without saying anything. Finally he let her out of his tight grasp looking down to her.
"Looks Like you haven't grown an inch squirt since the last time i seen you." The man added the smirk on his lips.
"You've grown to much Connar..i thought you were.."
He stopped her before she could finish that statement, a hand running down her cheek to wipe away those tears. He pressed a finger up to her nose and shook his head.
"Nevermind what you thought! Where's that smile of yours I enjoy seeing? Just because I left for a long while doesn't give you any less reason to flash those pearly whites of yours." Connar wrapped his two fingers under the collar she wore, realizing it wasn't supposed to be there. Either way he looked down to her pretty little face.
She couldn't help it. Her face beamed, Her smile was bright her eyes glistened as she stood there staring at him hardly believing he was standing right infront of her. She didn't seem so sad anymore, she didn't remember she belonged to someone at the moment, and she had almost forgot she was on the clock at the moment.
"Get back to work!" Connar said seriously pushing her by her shoulders twords the table. They could always talk later, he didn't want to cost her, her job. He smiled as he watched her bounce over to the table of people, that sweet smile still remaining on her lips. Tonight was a wonderful night, and Uriko's smile only seemed to brighten it up more then it already was. He was glad he brought that beautiful curve of her lips that belonged there back. Stepping over to his table he took a seat, enjoying the show.
