She had always wanted to dance on the stage, to get her moment in the spotlight, but for the younger kitten it seemed like only a mere dream. To watch the other dancers grace the floor with their prescence sent chills up and down her spine, to watch them move in the most graceful of ways. But..she was a bit to young for eyes to be staring at her like that. So she decided to be a bit more modest with what she wore. A blue top that sparkled with spagetti straps, and had a ribbon to tie around to the front making a bow, was enough to show off some skin without showing off to much. Her Skirt Also sparkled, to at least get a little attention to her.
Tugging at the curtain a bit as she stood behind it, she peeked her head out watching all the people awaiting her performance...or at least someones. A silver Microphone in hand she stepped out on stage. Everyone stopped talking as they looked to the girl, wondering how she was going to dance.
She twirled around momentarily and then pushed the microphone to her lips. The way she had sung in the inn many times before had been reffered to as strangling the cat. But she was only playing then. There was a time to play, and a time to be serious. This was her time to shine, so games were out of the question. With an open mouth she let her sweet voice fill into the audience.
"I hear the clock, it's six a.m.
I feel so far from where I've been
I got my eggs and my pancakes too
I got my maple syrup, everything but you."
She pointed out to the men in the crowd, not nessisarily to anyone but just to make a point. Walking across the stage she gave a bright smile, The people seemed to be in awe. Her voice was high pitched, Sweet, and melodious.
" break the yolks, make a smiley face
I kinda like it in my brand new place
I wipe the spots off the mirror
Don't leave the keys in the door
Never put wet towels on the floor anymore' cause"
She made a point to emphasize the floor anymore, as she neared the chorse. She shook her hips and kept the smile on her face.
"Dreams last for so long
Even after you're gone
I know you love me
And soon you will see
You were meant for me
And I was meant for you."
A wink was sent out to the crowd as she placed her hand on her chest at that part. It may have been a song written by another singer, but her job was not to write the songs only to sing them.
Continuing on for the next four minutes, with her light dances and her beautiful singing she ended the song. Her cheeks were Rosey red, as she watched the crowd look at her in pure shock that such a strong voice came from such a young girl. She giggled and blew a kiss to the crowd as the men jumped up to try to catch it. Skittering herself quickly behind the curtain she listened to the clapping, and leaned her head back on the curtain.
"They..liked it?"She said softly to herself feeling quite proud of her accomplishment.
