Kina usually didn't pull shifts behind the Alley Cat Club bar, but tonight was a special event. Tonight was the night Uriko was going to do the stage show. Kina knew Jewell was uneasy about putting the kitten on stage, but Kina saw no problem with one innocent show. The customers enjoyed it just as much as they did when the more exotic dancers performed.

Donning the golden Kitten suit that matched her eyes, just like the ones the other kittens wore so as not to attract attention to herself, Kina slipped out into the club, checking all the tables around the dance floor before moving to the bar to get a tray. It was almost time for the show to start and she wanted to be ready for anything.

Slinking from the store room, hair in a high ponytail and her in a bright orange sun dress, after having made sure, once again, that all was amply supplied, a bar rag over a shoulder and eyes lit and striking, she ran her gaze about, pleased at the presentation and how great Kina had got the place spotless.

"Good work, honeypie", she said, whistling to get the catling's attention as she picked up some trays.

"We got that little kat on tonight, huh? All she needs is some audience support, an' she will shine o' she will shine"

A big smile and she found herself gazing at the stage, with a wistful sigh.

She had always wanted to dance on the stage, to get her moment in the spotlight, but for the younger kitten it seemed like only a mere dream. To watch the other dancers grace the floor with their prescence sent chills up and down her spine, to watch them move in the most graceful of ways. But..she was a bit to young for eyes to be staring at her like that. So she decided to be a bit more modest with what she wore. A blue top that sparkled with spagetti straps, and had a ribbon to tie around to the front making a bow, was enough to show off some skin without showing off to much. Her Skirt Also sparkled, to at least get a little attention to her.

Tugging at the curtain a bit as she stood behind it, she peeked her head out watching all the people awaiting her performance...or at least someones. A silver Microphone in hand she stepped out on stage. Everyone stopped talking as they looked to the girl, wondering how she was going to dance.

She twirled around momentarily and then pushed the microphone to her lips. The way she had sung in the inn many times before had been reffered to as strangling the cat. But she was only playing then. There was a time to play, and a time to be serious. This was her time to shine, so games were out of the question. With an open mouth she let her sweet voice fill into the audience.

"I hear the clock, it's six a.m.
I feel so far from where I've been
I got my eggs and my pancakes too
I got my maple syrup, everything but you."

She pointed out to the men in the crowd, not nessisarily to anyone but just to make a point. Walking across the stage she gave a bright smile, The people seemed to be in awe. Her voice was high pitched, Sweet, and melodious.

" break the yolks, make a smiley face
I kinda like it in my brand new place
I wipe the spots off the mirror
Don't leave the keys in the door
Never put wet towels on the floor anymore' cause"

She made a point to emphasize the floor anymore, as she neared the chorse. She shook her hips and kept the smile on her face.

"Dreams last for so long
Even after you're gone
I know you love me
And soon you will see
You were meant for me
And I was meant for you."

A wink was sent out to the crowd as she placed her hand on her chest at that part. It may have been a song written by another singer, but her job was not to write the songs only to sing them.

Continuing on for the next four minutes, with her light dances and her beautiful singing she ended the song. Her cheeks were Rosey red, as she watched the crowd look at her in pure shock that such a strong voice came from such a young girl. She giggled and blew a kiss to the crowd as the men jumped up to try to catch it. Skittering herself quickly behind the curtain she listened to the clapping, and leaned her head back on the curtain.

"They..liked it?"She said softly to herself feeling quite proud of her accomplishment.

The catling slipped backstage with a grin, heading right for the dressing room that Uriko had been assigned space in.

"Kitten! Brilliant. You looked and sounded magical." Kina could not stop grinning. She had just known that things would go well. "We actually had four men come up to the bar asking if you were seeing anyone.. and seventeen others ask if you were going to be a regular act."

Purring with pride in the younger girl she smiled at her " What do you think, want to make this a regular part of your work week? You wont have to dance, and you can dress how you like. Daisia's ankle was not just twisted it was broken, and Lucy, I'm pretty sure shes not coming back any time soon. so the spots yours if you want it."

Her cheeks were flushed red almost as if she was wearing blush. The compliments coming from one of the owners of the bar was more then just a compliment to her, it was an honor. And all those men had asked about her? It only seemed like a dream come true. She thought that maybe because her act was to innocent, no one would seem to like it, but she guess they seen it a different way. She jumped up turning to Kina the smile on her lips wide.

"Y-You really mean it!"

Clapping her hands together she bounced in place. If that wasn't enough to show kina what her answer would be then she wouldn't know what was. Her arms went around her, her small frame hugging the woman tightly in her arms.

"Thank you!"

Kina smiled and gave Uriko a firm hug. "Yes I really mean it. And Don't let Jewell give you a hard time about it. She hardly comes around so I'm not sure she knows what we do to keep you girls safe."

Another friendy grin and a half hug and the catling was headed out the door leaving the girl alone to change after her performance.
