It had been nearly a month since Kali had made her escape out of the realms of her father, and moved to be closer to her sisters. She was adjusting well to life in Rhydin, she was getting used to being an oddity in these parts. And had even met a nice man who helped her understand the way things were in these parts. A man who also managed to away with her heart.
Valentines day had always come and gone without a single worry from Kalista. She never had any reason to care about it. The whole holiday had seemed trivial and unappealing to her. But as she woke up and rolled over in her bed a pout came to her lip. She could have sworn she had fallen asleep with her stalker by her side. Sadly he wasnt there. Her dreams having played a cruel trick on her. Her arm reaching over to draw the pillow into a hug, she heard a rustling of paper. Opening both eyes she reached out for the object. A piece of paper folded into an airplane. She rolled over onto her stomache and made little plane noises as she soared it around the bed. She hadnt been dreaming at all he had been here last night. And they had infact fallen asleep together.
Leaning up she noticed a few letters visible on the place and very carefully she unfolded the paper airplane. It took her several times to read it all the way through because her eyes misted each time before she even hit the second stanza. She clung to the note and smiled brightly. Slowly getting out of bed she walked over to a small mahogany box. She opened the box, its contents consisting of the first note, one of the flowers and the picture of the stars. She carefully refolded the note into an airplane and set it down gingerly ontop of the other gifts. She quickly showered and dressed. Bothering Lana until she helped tie her into her corset. And getting her cloak around her she made her way to meet Stalker at the market.
