Dear Artemus Kurgen,

My name is Tranquility Alcar. I wish to attend the Arcanum Academy to learn to be a healer, so that I can help others whenever I can. My brothers both work for the watch, and they sometimes get hurt and don't seem to ever have a healer with them when they do.

I asked my Aunt Kitty if she could help me learn healing magic, and she told me to come here to learn.

I'm not very good at letters like this, but I hope to hear back from your soon!

Thank you for contacting me. As somewhat of a skilled healer myself, I can say that Arcanum Academy offers a solid foundation in courses to help you find what training you seek. While class schedules may seem rigid in your first year, you will gain more options in extra subjects you may pursue based on your overall interests. As your brothers are part of the watch, one of the courses our graduate students take is Tactics. Instructing promising Magi in using their arte while working with others who are not gifted. Mixed Unit tactics.

If this interests you, then come by the Academy and an advisor can sit down with you to discuss your options and build a course progression based on what you wish to pursue.
