"I'm tired of leaving my daughter in Lavinor." Kitty abruptly said to Tass.

"So bring her home." Came his simple reply.

And so, that's what she was doing. She had found her D-Hopper, which allowed her to travel from Rhydin to Lavinor in an eyeblink. A strange mix of technology and magic in a small little gadget. She knew Tass could take her there just as quickly, but this was something she wanted to do on her own.

The dials were set, and with a push of a button, she was in Lavinor, looking at the city's tall buildings. She knew the way to Mecca's easily. She had been there hundreds of times now.

Soon she was there, sitting next to Mecca while the children played around them.

"It's time I brought Mia home. It's breaking my heart to be away from her so much. And now I can guarantee her safety, so there's no reason to keep her here."

Mecca nodded with a smile. "Of course, Kitty. She's been a delight to have here, of course, but I understand. What of Mekylin?"

Kitty shook her head and sighed. "I think I'm going to take you up on your offer. He's human... and should be with human parents."

Mecca gave her a smile. Kitty could tell she was relieved, but also sad for Kitty. "I won't lie and say I'm upset. I'm thrilled at your decision. But I know it can't be easy to let him go."

Kitty's brow furrowed as she watched the children. "No, it's not. But it's what's best for him. How soon can Mia's things be packed and ready?"

"Within the hour. You'll bring her back to visit, yes?"

Kitty nodded. "Of course. She'd never forgive me if I kept her from her cousins for too long."

Her daughter was coming home. Finally.
