I want to see the scene.

Six words. Six words, quietly, sternly spoken. A statement born out of a need for immediacy. A need for a first hand witness. A need to be less...removed. A need to be more...

Six words...but the response was immediate.

And he acquiesced.

So here he was, approaching the building that had at one time, been an old haunt. It seemed like a lifetime ago. He was...bigger then. It was a lifetime ago.

As he walked past the gates of Helston House, he reached into his pocket for the marble then looked up at the building and bellowed for the Moredhel-elf / werepanther.

She had been asleep when the call came. When someone called to her through the marbles, it was if their very voice vibrated through her entire body. This time was no different.

"Kitty!"

It was Lucky. Instantly her eyes popped open and her mind locked onto the marble to find his location. He was close. Very close. She frowned slightly as she flew from her bed, careful to not disturb the one laying next to her. She glanced out the window to see the barrister standing in the front yard below. Ok, so he wasn't in trouble. Her mind reached softly out to his. Her voice would touch upon his mind like a soft breeze at first so as to not startle or overwhelm the man. She would only push harder if she encountered interference as long as it was obvious it would not harm him.

"~I'll be right down. Come inside and wait.~"

She quickly slid on her leathers and boots. She knew what he wanted. He wanted to see the scene of the latest murders. It was a horrific scene. Blood was everywhere. Her expression was grim as she thought back on it while placing her enchanted protective jewelry on her body. At least it was still being watched by a detail from the city guard. She had replaced the man she caught asleep with a man of her own choosing.

She paused before heading down to strap a few weapons to her hips and thighs. Knives were tucked into either boot. A sword was on one hip, Larook's shotgun was on the other. A shotgun shell belt was draped above the belts that held the weapons. As she headed for the stairs, she was strapping on the clawed gauntlets Lucius DeAuster had given her for her birthday. She had to move slower while walking with a human, so she was making sure she was armed to the teeth.

After a bit, she went down the stairs and found Lucky. "Alright Lucky. Let's get this show on the road. You ready?"

"~I'll be right down. Come inside and wait.~"

Kitty's voice sounded in his head. Softly. Gently. Still, it made him pause, if only for a breath. He shook his head, grousing at himself as he entered the infamous manor.

Lucien looked about as he waited for the Kitty. More voices reached out from a distant past and touched old memories, bringing faded images back to life before his eyes.

Fr?re Jacques, Fr?re Jacques,...

Amid the cachophony of voices, the small voice of a girl echoed.

Dormez vous? Dormez vous?

He search among the familiar faces. And he caught sight of the raven black hair before she disappeared behind the press of bodies.

Sonnez les matines, Sonnez les matines.

He looked again, harder, the images starting to swirl together. There he...

"Alright Lucky. Let's get this show on the road. You ready?"

He turned at Kitty's query and managed to keep his feet firmly planted beneath him.

Ding Ding Dong,...

Lucien nodded soberly seeing the Moredhel-elf / werepanther armed to the teeth. The song had faded to silence. And the images faded to black. "I'm ready, Kitty."
