.: April 22 - Late Afternoon :.
She woke up meeting the floor, blanket wrapped around her as if forbidding her to leave it's embrace. Head tilting back she looked around the room to find herself alone.
It didn't surprise her..
Sighing she closed her eyes and sulked down into the blanket, limbs attempting to escape it's clutch. Finally she started flailing. "Oh for the love of! Off!!!" She finally got the thing off with a huff. She felt crappy still but it was more of a lingering feeling. Fever gone and the scratch at her throat was lessened. That was good. Collecting the blanket it was folded and tossed onto the bed in Toby's spot. A spot she realized looked as if it had been slept in. Chin lowering she felt her expression lighten.
He was probably upset with her..
Sighing her chin turned up and she looked to the bottles of orange juice on the nightstand. Did he leave those for her? Blinking she slowly moved to collect one of the bottles and started her way to the bathroom for a quick shower. If only to refresh herself. The warm water helped ease stressed muscles. Sinking down against the wall she allowed the water to splash her as she toyed with the cap of the orange juice. Yes she brought it in the shower with her. It wasn't opened nor drank but rather just held.
Fresh lilacs. That was what she chose to splash herself with after getting out and drying off. Leaving the bathroom with the bottle still in hand she dressed in her jeans and short black top. This was followed by a plush white sweater and the black hoodie she found herself growing attached to if only for certain reasons. She felt weighed down but that was okay.
Things to do. She felt well enough to go out and out she would go! Bypassing the people of the inn she hurried out of the inn and to the market.
Her first stop, of course, was a little shop to purchase some shoes. She picked some nice ones too with a thick heel and nice grip. They looked shiny and black.
Her next stop was down the street to Ichiraku's in order to speak to the girl behind the counter. The look she got upon arrival was a harsh one indeed.
"Pff. What are you doing back here so soon?"
"Ermm.." Katt started slowly. She watched as the girl came out with a smoothie and a lemonade. Katt's head slowly shook and the girl gave her a confused look. "Toby's not with me.."
She got another confused look but the girl shrugged. "Okay. Anything else I can do for you?"
"Mmm. Yeah. You see my sister's birthday is coming up and I'd like to know if you know where I can get some special things." Katt rubbed at her upper arm a bit nervously.
"Like?" the girl inquired.
Thoughtfully she started to describe things she wanted to get or try to. The girl grinned at her and started mapping out a few places for Katt to stop by.
Nodding she watched curiously as the girl described a few things for Katt and she smiled to herself. Lots of work to do ...
