Fire spat angrily as she read the latest letter from the bar tender female. Sheka was there no one this female did not know in RhyDin? Could she not attack anyone anymore without them reporting her to the woman?

Fluid strides took her across the pass-through out of her shielded mage workshop to the winding path that would eventually lead her to the ekele that she and her wife shared when they were at the Vale.

A snarl marred the beauty of her face as she growled, flames licking lovingly around her slender form now dressed in flowing mage robes in shades varying from ice blue to deepest midnight blue that faithfully followed every curve giving tantalizing glimpses of bare skin inviting the eye of the beholder to pause in the hope that a little bit more would be revealed if they waited that scant instant longer.

DawnDancer had come to report that Ley lines were being moved in the woods outside of Rhydin and nodes were being formed where they weren?t meant to be. A part of what she did was ensure that the flow of these lines remained undisturbed and that nodes weren?t created where they didn?t belong.

She had just spent several hours in her workshop with her focus stone scrying to find the magical signature of who had been tampering with the magical energies in the area. She had been pleased yet disgusted when she found she recognized the feeling of the power that had been used to shift the flows.

It was frightening just how much power had been used as she ?saw? via Mage Sight that a temporary environment had actually been set up by this mage. Braxeus was his name. The same mage that had caused Icer to be injured. The same mage she had met in the Inn just the other day. The same mage that she was convinced was going to get Icer killed if the ice dragon continued to listen to his advice rather than her own.

She would tone things down regarding the Slavers as Tera suggested but only because there was more going on in RhyDin that she needed to check into and prevent from getting out of control. If this new mage continued to tamper with the natural flow of magical energies the entire fabric of the Nexus could be at risk and as a Tayladras Adept she couldn?t allow that to happen.

Her first responsibility was to ensure the safety of all living things by keeping the flow of magic stable and in the channels it normally followed not letting it flow wild and freely where it could form pockets or nodes that could create unnatural magic born creatures and change-children of both human and animal origin.

Fire didn?t know to what purpose this Braxeus was messing around with the ley lines for but she planned on finding out and since they hadn?t gotten off on exactly the right foot it would take time and patience. She had both of those in full measure and so would continue returning to the Inn as the female bar tender had requested.
