Ren had burst through the door and screamed. Her orbs of twilight were massively wide at this point. She was storming through the room and to Rachel. Her hands shaking as she hoisted her into her arms. That Alorian was stronger then she looked.
She was bounding down the steps to her basement in a hurried pace. Panting while she whispered to Rachel,? Breathe Rachel? Breathe? remember we said you?d be just fine?. Promise.? Her head turned to seal the door behind her.
Shaking her head for a moment before she muttered,? Gabriel, stay here!? She grumbled for a moment and shut the door behind her, sealing it behind her. Sighing she managed to whisper to Rachel,? We have to do this.. It?s too dangerous? I should have guessed something would happen.?
Rachel was still unresponsive as Ren set her down on the hospital bed. Brushing her hand over the angelic?s head she managed to sigh once more. Humming soothingly she pulled out a tri-corder. The clicking hum came from it before Ren cursed loudly.
That was enough to show that this was bad. Ren tossed the machine over her shoulder and it shattered. Rubbing her hands together she furrowed her brows. The soft golden glow coming from her hand came and she started to chant.
A orb appeared over Rachel?s abdomen as slow breaths rolled on her chest. Shaking softly she started to come to. Big green eyes opened and she winced. Black hair draped over her face as she managed to cry out,? Gabriel!? But he didn?t come. Ren?s technology saw to that. The anti- magic barrier around the basement still working strong.
There was a sob from Rachel as she looked up towards the orb. A small thing inside rapidly growing. Defender was going to have a lot to answer to. It was because of the effect that he had on Rachel that this was happening.
When Rachel had first come to Ren they had discovered that Mrs. Ashlocke was five months with child, and now she was watching her child grow before her eyes. Within moments that child was nine months and at the right age to be freed from the orb. Slowly Ren lowered the child onto Rachel?s chest and into the waiting arms of the now stunned mother.
Ren gasped and lowered her hands. Eyes closed as she whispered,? I?m sorry? I had no choice. Something happened? It was for the child and your safety.? And Ren was right. There was no time to explain, because the Angelic defenses were still working.
That small child was growing at a rapid rate. Faster than Ren had expected. Hours had passed, six, seven, maybe twelve, and there was a one year old just gazing up at a very proud mother. Rachel kept silent about the growth rate of her child, just wanting to be there. She knew that the moments Ren was taking to record and protect the little one was understandable. After all.. This was for the child?s safety.
Ren was taking no chances in the health of the new born. It was roughly two days before the growing had stopped and Ren could do more tests. Proud to find that there was a healthy four year old Angelic and one very healthy mother within her basement. A sigh of relief was breathed in that instance.
It wasn?t until August 15th that Ren had given the all clear, growing done and Rachel recovered. It was time to head up stairs, and the two woman knew that. Slowly Ren opened the door and stepped aside while her eyes met the figure of a very worried Gabriel. Tired and worn not having slept.
Rachel was almost in the same state, a little hand clutching hers while she looked to her husband. A purple head poked out from behind Rachel and the same green eyes as Mommy?s peered forwards towards Gabriel. A little girl, four years old, was gazing at her father nervously. Thank goodness for Ren, the little one was dressed in jeans, a tee-shirt, and little tennies. Her hair in Sherley Temple locks that were pulled back in pig tails.
?Congrats? Daddy?? Was all Ren had to say before leaving the family alone to speak.
