There was hell to be paid.... Utter hell.

The screaming and stomping came first. Foot steps of a monster came crashing through the house while the cries grew louder. The very sound of the four year old screaming was horrifying. Stomps and screams growing louder as she grew closer to her mother and father's room.

"DADDY! HOW COULD YOU!?!?!"

"DADDY! I'M MAD AT YOU!?!"

And so on. It seemed little Marie had inherited her mother's temper. Shrill screams came as she huffed and puffed like a little terrorist. More and more on the rampage until she was standing outside the door leading to her parents room. Good thing Rachel was so annoyed she had set to locking herself in the basement.

"DADDY GET OUT HERE NOW!!!!"

That little ball of rage was serious!

Gabriel would find no love down those steps. In fact he'd get the death look from his wife. When she heard his words she just snorted and went back to her work. Dirting herself up with one of the work out machines.

There was a snarl in her voice as she lay there putting oil on the turns and rotaiters. Even the wires to make it move with less resistance than nessesary," Can't blaim her... You did screw up this one... Did you think she wasn't going to find out? The moment Defender left this house... The very moment that blade left this house guess who was back?"

Her eyes turned upwards as the screams started to move, growing closer as their little one moved.

"Not my problem Gabriel Ashlocke.... Not my problem." It was one of those confessions that she knew he never wished to hear from her lips. Standing up she moved towards the door and opened it slowly. Her eyes turned towards the steps and she called out.

" Your father is down here Marie."

Her eyes turned towards Gabriel and she managed to mutter," You strive to be better than your father... You work so hard for us, but what you just did? How was that any better? Defender was family... enough said..." Her eyes telling him that it was up to him to fix this. He wouldn't be relying on her, or even Ren.

Rose approached the manor once more. Wearing black leather pants with a matching corset, and tall black boots. Only thing different really about her was that her hands were bandaged. Not usual to see on one with angelic healing powers.

Her head was still head high despite the sorrow that weighed inside of her heart. She had played no one and she wasn't about to back out on the deal she had made with Gabe. A nod to the guards as they approached.

Business would be stated clearly to them, "I am here to see Gabe... I have something for him."

"OI VEY!. MARIE!"

He took off after her. He picker her up and held her close.

"im sorry sweety...I didnt know what would happen..."

The guard odded to Rose and let her through. Boy this was just NOT his night.

Rose enters the scene, taking it in with an arch of her pierced brow. "He did not betray Defender..." Was interjected in a voice far more calm and confident than she felt while interfering in this family matter.

"He gave me Defender to save the life of my son." Was clarified with honesty. "What he did... Was not easy for him and took great strength." It was clear by the way she looked to Gabe now... There was a deep respect for the man she hardly knew. She of all people knew there was nothing harder than letting go. The reaction of the child was understandable. But Gabe was an adult and needed to explain to his kid that sometimes these choices have to be made.
