Jade awoke to feel the harsh pain of sunlight on her face. Since when did she allow sunlight in her room? Most have seeped through the covering on her window. She rolled off the bed with a THUD to the floor below, taking the sheet with her. Jade opened her eyes slowly then rubbed the sleep from them.
She looked around at the floor and held the sheet close to her body. That wasn't the floor to the villa. There weren't any boxes around her from where she was packing. She felt cooler than normal as she sat up a bit. Jade looked down at her bare skin, then around the room where her eyes met her dress near the door. She let out a whimper.
"My god, what have I done now?" she breathed to herself.
Jade let out a heavy sigh as she figured before she could find out, she would have to take out the harsh rays of sun first. She crawled over to the window and pulled the curtains to. The room went dark and she was glad she could see in the dark. Woo, go vampirism.
She clutched the sheet to her as she looked over to the bed to spot a familiar head of hair.
"Gabe?" she spoke up a little bit, knowing the loud thud would have awaken him.
