The ancient dragon sat quietly in the small office behind his desk. In drow form his robes hung off his slender body like a queen size blanked would hang off of a child at play. It would have been hard to take the figure seriously except for his eyes. Thousands of years of experience and knowledge could be seen by a simple glance at his eyes.

"May be that is why he was there?" He mused out loud to himself as he sat pouring over the books in the Delta headquarters. Papers, invoices and reciepts sat in front of him as he tried to make sense of it all. Although not an official Delta the dragon had been asked to help out. But nothing spacific was given to help with so he had thrown himself into record keeping, and such. The first part was going to be finances. While he knew the Deltas to have backers with very deep pockets, he wanted to make sure that everything was kept legitimet. Beauracracy could bring down a unit faster then any foe could.

"I can't believe that these are it?" The drow shook his head in flustration. "Who spends $5,000 on a bowling ball? $1,500 on matching eye patches? And what is this, how can you put down beer as a purchase for a disguise? Seriously"

Just then a knock on his door. A quick, "Come in." and it swung open. A large man stood at the door. Armored up and looking as if he just came back from a mission. "Yous Knite?"

The drow just nodded, not sure what to make of this young man. "I's told to bring yous my reciepts." The man laid two reciepts on his desk and as he turned to go Knite could see the mans weapon hanging from his back. It was a bowling ball attached to a chain. The ball said," I Bowl for Splits."

Knite just shook his head as the man left. What had he gotten into. He sighed and picked up the newest reciepts. His eyes went a bit wide.

"What in the name of the 14th level of HELL is this. This is CRAYON!"

Knite set the paper down that had crayon scribbled accross it. This was going to be interesting.

He just came around the corner looking for the Ancient and saw Shadow.


"Wha..Wha...WHAT THE HELL.....How`d you get in here!?!"

::he stared and pointed at Shad,he wasnt quite worried but startled.

He just raised and eyebrow and stared,his left ryr was twitching badly.

"Shadow......Why the hell are you here....."

He didnt know whether to throw her out or beat heer in the head, so he just stood there and looked like a jackass.

He watched Gabe and Shadow banter back and forth for a few moments. Crayon receipts, a sneaky dragon in skin tight clothing, and Gabe. All were in his office at once. He was sure if he went outside, the moon would be eclipsing and the planets in the solar system would be in alignment with how weird this was.

No mater. "Gabe, this came for you." He pulled up a medium size box marked Fragile, and Top Secrete. Not really sure what it was he handed it over. He then looked at Shadow, with the, now that you got here what are you going to do, look.

"Shadow your not here to explain matching eye patches are you?" There was a bit of hope in his voice. He knew the answer but still there was always hope.

"Ah it finally came huh...Thanks Knite...."

He took the box and put it under his arm and thumped Shadow on the back of the head.He looked at them and shook his head and spun to walk out,he headed back to Delta base with hsi package,glad to be out of there and glad he was able to go somewhere he can open it without prying eyes.

He watched the exchange between Gabe and Shadow. A thousand things ran through his mind, them being sane was not one of them. He watched Shadow a moment after Gabe left.

"So just out of curiosity what are you doing here my friend?" the ancient just raised an eyebrow waiting for an answer.

"Your were testing a new spell and you are getting married?"

The ancient cocked his head slightly with a bit of wonderment in his eyes. There seemed to be a lot of questions there but if he had them he wasn't saying them.

"Who is the lucky person and when is the date?"

Of all the people to be in the Delta HQ there she was. Looking for Gabe. Yeah Alana was certainly an amazing body guard. She couldnt even find the little bugger her head would be poked into Knites office and alana would nod to shadow with a bright smile. She thought she head something about an engagement. She would offer a nod of congradulations and then look to Knite who Alana had only met once before

"I am looking for Lt Ashlocke...Any idea where I can find that little scamp?"

Alana wasnt very nice to Gabe. He was like her brother and she knew that what had happened to them was very much past and not present. So she stood half in and half out of the ancients office

Alana would tumble into Knites office having lost her balance being half in and half out with a giant crashing and thud. She would grunt gently and sit up a bit so that her mags wouldnt be digging into her hip. There would be grumbling and drowish cursing and lots of angry looks to the stupid floor that had jumped out of nowhere and hit her.

"Stupid damned sunuva...."

Trails off before composing herself again. She would clear her throat and await an answer. Tappity tap tap went the foot.

She nodded. "Yeah, Ty's kid...From the future! A timestone let him come back, and..Yeah, we got together.." A grin. "I think your office is so popular because so many people like and know you, and you know a lot of things." A firm nod.

Hw sat at the desk and opened the collection of pictures of him his brother and Yugo...They were an odd team always getting into trouble.He chuckled and shook his head,one that caught his eye was the time they went on vacation,Yugo diving out of a tree Nathen yelling at him,Gabe just sitting enjoying a soda and reading a book.He missed those times.He knew they would never come again so he just sighed and put the pictures back into the box and closed it again,he leaned forward and put his face into his hands and begna to rub his eyes,he has had little sleep with all that needed to be done,he just wanted to end fof rjust one day and let him have some peace and quiet...

He quickly put the box in the safe under his desk and got up to follow Alana as he caught the bottle of water,he was stil la little upset from actually being able to find that box,he sighed and looked at the area.

"Okay what all needs to be done...:

He looked at the spot to start to contruction and sighed,he may have had a lot of money but this project was cutting into it,he was saving that money on a few things he needed to get if he was gonna be able to stay in his house and not have to stay at the base.

He held his hands up to Alana and simply took several steps movign several feet from where he was.

"Here...This feels like a good spot.."

he knelt down and ran his hand over the ground,it was rock hard.

"Oh yeah a perfect spot...Alana draw up the papers and have them on my desk by morning"

He didnt mean to make it seem like she was his secretary but since his last quit he needed a temporary till he could look over the aplicants,he hated paper work but he would do it when he had to.

"You have a point...The new DC-17`s are in and I do need to see if they work so..Why not...Lets go.."

He smiled and put and arm around her shoulder.

"You know....When you and Feilas get married...How abut right here.....Now better place right?Out in the open sky.We have a preist handy....And he is bored stiff...."

He was tryin to throw ideas out to help,he didnt know if he was gonna be called to help so he would just put his two sense in there and see what happened. They drew close to the testing area and he dropped to the ground on one knee for a minute,he heard a small explosion but he wasnt wanting to be blown apart any time soon.He had very few lives left so he couldnt be to carefull.

And sure enough out of the bunker came the very person he needed to speak to,he was black from head to toe.....He had mixed a few wrong chemicals together and it poofed on him.

::cough cough::"Sorry sir...I kinda...::Cough::...Mixed a few wrog things together..."

He shook his head and stood,he then just did a simple facepalm as he began to think,they onyl had enough chemicals to mak 100 more plasma clips,how much did he use was the main wuestion on his mind.

He showed her the list and just prayed she didnt yell at him...Or set Gabes mood off....By the time this Delta facility was up and in full swing..He would be broke....

She was lucky she said something before he did,he just looked at the man and he just fell on his arse.Gabe stood and picked him up by teh scruff of his shirt.

"You do it again..I will make sure you dont get out of the next boom got me...."

That was said mainly out of anger not serious.But the guys didnt know that,he was scared shitless but he was sure Gabe wouldnt do it.
