Facts about Corina:
She hates having to dress up. She will clean up and pour herself into formal uniform as needed but the last time she wore any type of formal gown was her senior prom. Corina, Jacent and Bryan grew up together on Beta Aquilae. Jacent and Bryan were best friends and Corina was always tagging along. She always had a crush on her brother?s best friend.
Corina is a very outspoken leader. There is a great deal of respect between her and Admiral Aldritch. They may not always see eye to eye, but they work on a level where they both will listen to the other?s ideas.
History
Some girls played with dolls. This child played with spaceships and dreamed of the stars. Her days were filled with flight sims and academy classes while other children played. Coming from a long line of Fleet, Corina had some big shoes to fill. Her father was a hero of the GTVA-Shivan conflict. The stars were in her blood.
Corina graduated flight school with honors and earned the Callsign Erinyes for her valor at the helm. Corina specialized in Capital Ships early on, distinguishing herself as a capable pilot/weapons specialist. She does have some skill in the handling of smaller fighters, but her primary specialty was the Hecate Class Destroyer's and larger.
She is sarcastic and known as an innovator. She took what worked and threw out the rest of the book. She didn't follow orders well, and on several critical Missions, that attitude proved to be what saved her ship. She was known for pioneering several risky maneuvers that have yet to be repeated.
It only made sense that when The Captaincy came up on the new Expeditionary Wing's flagship, she was offered it. There was a very real chance that this mission would be a one-way ticket. They wanted the best that fleet had to offer on this mission.
