Hello. everyone, and welcome to the Flash Fiction Section!

This is just for idle fun to have, where you can write short, short stories (200-400 words) with a Rhy?Din, Empire, or any other theme you would like to portray.

We hope the additions we introduce below will suit the forum regulars, as well as bring in new members. However, all of it is for you -- if any of this doesn't work, we'll look into making it better, so please feel free to contact the moderator with any suggestions or concerns.

The additions that we've made are based around a couple of repeated requests that were made on the Avix Empire Site. Namely:

-- Regular challenges;
-- Deadlines on the challenges;
-- Badges for Challenge Participation;

...backed up by a supportive, pleasant, and cordial atmosphere.

So this is what we have tried to do!

Overview
For the purposes of this thread, "flash fiction" is defined as stories of 500 words or fewer.

This is a place for members of all levels to feel comfortable and to develop and share their knowledge. As with the rest of Avix, respect and support are the order of the day. It will also be the home of the challenges.

If any member would like to create challenges for members -- somewhere for on-going encouragement, story battle and general camaraderie -- then this is the place to do it, and you're very welcome to do so.
