Raye's perspective only. This is in no way meant to cause gossip or rumors about Aja and Padriq. Raye's perception is her own craziness.

Raye sees this: The storms in both of their lives...their separation and then his return which is portrayed by the pic of the ships in port. The steering devices...one for each of them...they are both ship's captains and are on equal footing. Aja is an independent strong woman and needs a man that doesn't try to change that but gives her the respect she deserves as his equal. Raye sees Aja smile so much more when Padriq is around so essentially when she looks at them she sees strength, endurance, equality and happiness between the two which inspired her to paint.
Oh...and she sees Padriq looking hawt...not as hot as her own man but a common theme with Raye and Aja is gawking at hot shirtless men. And there he is. It must be portrayed lest people begin to think Raye is something other than shallow. ;)
