Three days after that eye opening conversation they had in the Inn, Raye was coming back to Jono's house with her arms laden with packages. He had been gone for two days on a job, supposed to be the last one for seven days as he promised her. She had filled her time these two days with shopping and starting to rearrange a few things so her own belongings could be moved. The real reason she had kept herself so busy was because she had this knot in her belly that wouldn't go away. They had made some serious plans and confessed a desire to spend their lives together so she was now terrified that something was going to happen to mess this all up.

She punched in the code and entered the house, deciding it was alright to just let herself in now, even though technically she wasn't going to be living here until they had spent a week alone together. She dropped the numerous bags and packages and shut the door. After she had locked it and rearmed the alarm, she picked up most of the packages and made her way upstairs.

Raye had been busy. That mostly empty spare bedroom had been cleared out and cleaned from top to bottom. Completely out of character for her, she had done all of this herself instead of hiring someone to do it. She had even painted the walls in a beautiful mural of her kingdom in soft pastel colors. In the middle of the room stood a large round bassinet with a gauzy canopy. From the canopy hung a mobile with a myriad of brightly colored fairies and flowers and when any of the hanging items were touched the sweetest melody played. There was a rocking chair off to the side of the room with a dresser next to it. She deposited most of her packages onto the floor in front of that dresser and looked around, smiling a little.
She loved the room. She loved the mood and tone of it. It was too bad she had to put one of those slimy little creatures in her nice perfect lovely room. She affected a slight pout then turned on her heel and walked to their room, that had a nice ring to it, didn't it? The last several bags and packages were deposited onto their bed and she kicked off her shoes prior to belly flopping onto the bed and almost immediately going to sleep. She had slept very little in the two days since he left, pushing herself to complete the biggest tasks of remodeling that room.

It wasn't much after that where the keypad was used again and he came inside, coat and pants dusty but he was no worse for wear. His hair was pulled back into a ponytail and outside of a few fresh scratches on his face and arms, he had no signs of serious injury. A glance down to the packages brought a smile to his lips, and he peeked in the living room to see if Raye was there. He had no problem if she techically moved into the house already, and was in fact hoping she had.

The coat was shrugged off and put on a hook next to the door and he walked upstairs, again looking for Raye. The first place he would look would of course be the bedroom, so his reaction to the redecorated spare bedroom would have to wait. A smile slid on to his face as he spotted the sleeping elf, and he quietly entered the bedroom and sat beside her on the bed. One hand slipped through her hair before he leaned down and kissed her forehead, whispering, "I'm so glad yer here. I love ye so much. It was painful to be away from ye so long." Yes, two days was too long for him now, especially since he knew she would be with him all the time now. He didn't care if she heard him or not, but he had to tell her as much immediately. To withhold the confession just would not be right. He couldn't help himself around her, he needed to say whatever came to mind and do whatever his body felt an impulse to do. It was hard to control in public, but here in private there were no such restrictions on his behavior.

No matter how exhausted she was, Raye had never slept through a new presence in a room, and this one was touching her and talking. She had spent far too many years in the trenches of battle where sleeping soundly would definitely be a way to obtain a more permanent sleep. She registered his presence as not a threat in her fatigued mind and languidly opened one bleary eye to glance up at him as he leaned down to kiss her forehead. A soft little smile curled upon her lips as she slipped a hand up to stroke his cheek. (s) "I missed you. Was so worried that I worked for two days on the baby's room." Her voice had started to fade midway through that sentence and her hand dropped as she drifted off to sleep again. She had given herself permission to sleep and recouperate because she knew she was safe. Maybe Jono heard the last of that sentence and maybe he didn't. It wouldn't take much time at all for the elf to refresh herself enough to be able to stay awake and talk with Jono.

"Worked on...?" He blinked as he continued to run his fingers through her hair, brown eyes glancing around the bedroom and noticing no changes. He leaned down to brush his lips across hers, like he was her Prince Charming, before leaving her to her slumber and standing up. Footsteps took him out of the bedroom and to the spare bedroom, where his jaw dropped and eyes blinked in disbelief. He had no idea she would have decorated the room this way, and even less of an idea that she would have done it so quickly! They didn't even know when they would have a child to occupy the room, let alone if they would even still live in the house. But, well, at least she was prepared and fast? One hand lifted to scratch his head at how strange this quick redecoration was.

Efficiency and results. That is what made a good leader. Well, that was part of what made a good leader. They had discussed having this baby and now the baby occupied a place in their home and therefore in their lives. The room would be a reminder to Raye every day that she was committed to this course of action. Was she committed to the idea of being a mother? Not at all. Not yet. She would be starting the desensitization process soon. She needed some time to boost morale for that as it involved actually spending time around stinking, drooling children with their nefarious plots. The baby's room was the first step to changing that thought process. She wanted this baby because of what it represented, a way to hold onto Jono forever. As obsessed as her crazy mind was with his death and her widowhood, it isn't surprising at all that she cooked up this plan. She was sane enough to realize that she couldn't have a child and then not love it. So, she was going to learn to love the enemy. She would train herself to love one of the monsters because that is what was required. Besides, she was moderately certain it would made Jono happier if she didn't lock the baby in the closet or something...yet another reason for the nursery.

Surely she could have this mastered by the time the two of them decided to actually conceive this child, right? Twenty years should be enough time to train oneself not to either run in terror or crinkle their nose in absolute disgust at the sight of a baby, right? If he wanted to do this sooner...she would have to come up with a new plan.

She stirred around, having nightmares about miniature people chasing her with their grimy hands and snotty noses. "Gods don't let it get me!" She shrieked this as she sat up and quickly looked around. A sigh of relief was uttered and she slid off of the bed and padded down the hall. She stopped in mid-step when she saw Jono standing in the entrance to the nursery.

Raye could say whatever she wanted about this overwhelming dislike of babies, she could be as evil and crazy as her nature allowed but the way this nursery was decorated proved there was something beautiful, vibrant and nurturing within the elfess.

She slipped up behind him and slipped her arms around his waist and pressed her cheek to his spine. "Do you love it? Hope you don't mind the reference to my people." She waved a hand in a sweeping motion towards the walls where an entire Elven kingdom had been depicted in miniature with its beautiful architecture and colorful nature intermixed. "I thought he would love the color and the variation between shapes and colors should inspire his mind to grow." Say what? Was this Raye? Someday Jono might need to sit the elfess down and find out who was actually hidden within.

"It's really quite beautiful, Raye," was his response as his hands went to her arms around his waist. "I just wasn't quite expecting it to be done so quickly. Ye got a talent for decoration." He studied all of the decorations and moved closer to inspect the depiction of the Elven kingdom. He was a bit familiar with their culture, but nothing of an expert. He would have to sit her down to explain all of that as well. He knew she was multi-faceted and deeper than she appeared, which was one of the reasons he loved her so much. And he wanted to spend his life burrowing deeper into her psyche and being than anyone else ever had or ever would; this seemed like a good first step for that. "This is a wonderful room for when we have a child. Ye made it perfect. And ye did it so fast. Helping to redecorate the rest of the house should be quite easy now that ye have me to help all this week."

"Its supposed to remind me that I am committed to having this baby and therefore committed to learning how to love one of those creatures eventually. And its supposed to remind you that I am committed to spending my life with you." She watched him study her painting and tilted her head slightly, her voice taking on a far away quality as if she were elsewhere. (vs) "That is the royal palace in Faerondalen, and my childhood home. Right down here...behind this wall" her finger traced along the wall and then tapped. "that is where I practiced archery for six hours every day under the tutelage of the man who eventually sacrificed his life to save my own." She held her palm to the wall for a moment as if by touching the wall she could touch Laenothil once again. "He was the greatest and wisest man I ever knew. He should have been my father and none of what happened would have occurred." Another soft sigh and she physically shook herself from that memory and forced a bright smile to her face to hide what was churning behind it. "It was a beautiful home just as ours will be. I realize we will more than likely not live here when we decide to give our future life, but it felt right to do this now. I can repaint it no matter where we are." Then she chuckled softly. "I didn't even work on the closets before I painted his room. How strange is that? And no worry...I don't plan on completely tearing apart and rebuilding your house. I am okay now with how everything is. I bought some linens and small appliances that you didn't have but I haven't called a contractor to tear anything apart or add on to it. Though...another room for my clothes would be nice!" She teased to further lighten the mood.

"I haven't shown ye what I keep in the basement," he chuckled in response, but his mind was still on the story she alluded to. He leaned closer to examine the area she touched, in response searching for her hand so he could gather it with his own and squeeze. Brown eyes glanced to her from the mural. "What happened? How was it that the man gave his life for ye?" The tone in his question was soft, showing he would not press the issue if it brought her pain or drudged up memories that were better left buried. And to soften the question further, he added, "I'm committed to spending my life with ye, too. Nothing will take me from ye."

A dark brow was arched in amusement and maybe a little excitement as well as he spoke of the basement. "Oh what is down there?" Just like a kid on Christmas Day.

The smile faded abruptly and the delicately angular features danced through a range of expressions, the emotion raw and obvious as it shifted from remembered terror to acute pain to rage and then to barely contained grief. It was so painfully obvious that Raye had been carrying this around for all of these years and had never dealt with any of it. She almost gave her trademark answer when someone asked about her past then just stopped. Soulful eyes turned to rest upon his and she slowly nodded as if giving herself permission to speak of it.

"The short version is he rescued me from Lialin's dungeon after Lialin slaughtered the entire royal bloodline...my family, our servants and finally my friends. One by one in front of me. I was the only one left and I was to be forced to marry him to secure the throne and then produce an heir. At that point he would be able to kill me as well. Laenothil.." Her voice cracked. "He had already been banished by my father for his role in my earlier escape from the marriage my father had planned for me with Lialin. He came back to assist me after I was returned, knowing my father would cast him into the dungeon for the remainder of his life. He found them all dead and gathered a group loyal to him, all trained by him, and he rescued me. Lialin killed him." Instead of breaking down into tears, her voice became flat and entirely devoid of emotion. "Lialin still hunts me. One day we will face one another and Laenothil will be avenged." If murder had a face, right now it would be Rayvinn. "You knew part of this and how I changed my name. You didn't know I am the last of the A'elavien line. He sits upon a throne he took by force, with the blood of my family upon his hands."

And if that was the short version...he didn't want to know the long version. How strange that she stood in this mostly empty room that had been painted for a child she wouldn't have for many years and spoke of the throne that should be his someday. She blinked away the memories, though the haunted look remained and turned to him. "Your son will have the birthright of a king." He deserved to know this, mostly for the reason she was getting ready to tell him. "And along with that birthright comes the threat of death. If Lialin cannot kill me before I have children then any children I give birth to will not be safe from him." And though this might seem like just a tale of the boogeyman, she knew the threat was real. He had hunted her, and nearly found her several times, for the past thirty years. Thirty years was such a short time in the life of an elf. She pressed herself into his arms and sighed. "Am I selfish for wanting this.." She couldn't bring herself to say she wanted the baby. "...this extension of you when I know the danger that awaits him?"

Jono was silent and reverent as he listened, but his hand retained its supportive hold upon hers. He was familiar with loss, but always on the opposite side of the coin. Surprisingly enough, his own life had been devoid of anything of the like, partly due to the fact that he had no family and had relied on himself for years on end, and partly because tragedies that large are not commonplace. And though time had passed, it was obvious the wounds still ran deep and even with time being a great equalizer and painkiller, even that had its limits to what it could overcome. The other parts, such as the fact that he may father a king, would be something he would deal with another time as he had never thought siring royalty would be something to come up in his life.

"Raye, it isn't selfish. Whatever danger our child might face, I will protect him just as fiercely as ye will. And if ye decide to ever find this man and take yer revenge, I'll be right beside ye," he hoped she took the words as he meant them. He would never begrudge her vengeance, especially upon hearing that. And in fact he almost seemed as if he wanted to go out now to use his own skills to kill this person who had caused the woman he loved so much pain. Her hand was released as he gathered her in his arms, kissing her cheek and holding her close to him. "Yer the furthest thing from selfish. I won't ever let anything happen to our child."

She nodded, having complete faith in him. "I know you won't. You are going to be a wonderful father someday. I love you for that." Bizarre.

All of this sudden talk about the baby almost had Raye reconsidering not waiting twenty years. Almost but not quite. The look on Jono's face as he spoke of fiercly protecting this baby was something she wasn't likely to forget. They were speaking of "their baby" as if he (or she) were already here.
So, this hypothetical baby had been an idea a few nights prior and now had a newly remodeled nursery and parents that were already discussing how they would protect him and gain him his throne. How very bizarre that this was coming from a woman that abhorred children like she did the plague and a man that had never really considered settling down. This future baby, regardless of when he would be born, was going to be one of the luckiest children to ever exist.
He would have parents that shared a love that transcended the normal boundaries of love, they shared something epic that poets penned to parchment. And all of that love and devotion would be lavished upon the result..this little baby. Just as soon as Raye learned how to not be afraid of the little people.

"And ye'll be a wonderful mother, even if ye aren't too fond of children now. I admit I'm not either, but our child will be different. For one, it'll be the best parts of yerself and me... and anything that has ye as a part of it will be beautiful and amazing, just like ye are." He still held her close, his voice soft and quiet. He knew they would both love their child just as much as they loved each other, which was immeasurable.

"I dunno at all what they eat or how they are supposed to get dressed or get from point A to point B. I think some of them walk but seems weird that they would do that as soon as they come out." An inky brow was furrowed as she thought upon this, absently twirling a strand of hair around her finger. "And do they tell you any of this stuff? Do they talk or just do that screaming that makes me want to stuff my face underwater for an hour? And...what about all of the drool? What is that about, anyway?"
Yes, it was being made abundantly clear that Raye had noooo idea what-so-ever about babies. "Maybe it will like wine. I can switch from tequila to wine if that will help." Such sacrifices she was willing to make! She thought about it some more and then smiled a little. "That redheaded kid was ok. I didn't feel the need to lock him in a closet. I was even going to let him borrow my revolver for a little shooting fun." She led him over to the rocking chair and after gently pushing him to sit, she plopped sideways onto his lap with her legs over one of the arms. "I bought this because I could picture you sitting in it."

"Do I need bifocals as well?" he asked as he was pushed back into the seat, snickering quietly as he gathered her up in his arms and planted a kiss to her jaw. "And ye know, I don't know much about children either, but I know they scream when they want something -- it's figuring out what that is that's the problem." He then pursed his lips, looking around the room as he rocked with the lithe elf on his lap. "Ye know, maybe we can just hire a nanny to take care of them while they scream. Then we can do the fun things like read and teach them how to shoot things."

"Remember I told you that you would be a hot old man?"She nodded sagely and pointed at the chair and then made little rings around her eyes with her hands to look like glasses in response to his reference to needing bifocals. She leaned her jaw into the chaste kiss and listened intently to him. "Is that why they scream? Huh. That makes a little more sense than them just screaming for no damn reason. Maybe they have books that tell you what to do when they scream. Maybe they want to beat the f*ck out of something? That makes me feel better when I feel like screaming." She leaned against him as they started rocking and nodded. "Ok so we just give it whatever makes it stop screaming and drooling and everything will be fine. We don't need a nanny if that strategy works but if it doesn't...that is an excellent idea. Then we don't have to take it to the Arena or the bar with us. Awesome!"

"We can take it to the Arena so it can get used to fighting and such, but there's no way I'll ever let us take our child to that bar," he grinned, enjoying the lingering sensation of the tingle of her lips in the kiss. "So we'll at least have to find a babysitter we can trust who can also be a bodyguard. Maybe Jack would be good for that? If not he can just be a bodyguard." He nodded a few times, one hand moving to her back where his finger lazily traced listless and wandering paths.

She thought about that for a moment and shrugged. "Jack is so weird. I haven't seen much of him since I told him I don't need a bodyguard. Just when he shows up to see the girl that lives at Cor's house with us." She immediately put a hand over her mouth and cleared her throat, eyes wide as she muttered. "Well sh*t that was supposed to be a secret." Head tilted a little. "Alright...I shouldn't have kept this from you anyway. Swear you won't tell and I will tell you. It matters to her safety." As if she needed him to promise. She knew he was trustworthy.

One brow lifted. He wasn't that curious about Jack or Cor's love life so didn't much care if a girl was there, but Raye was offering to tell him and he enjoyed the way she spun her tales. So of course he was interested because she was telling him! If it were another person he'd not care, but Raye could tell him the most basic of facts like "water is wet" and Jono would sit enthralled. He grinned and nodded his head excitedly. "I swear I won't tell anyone! So what's this about a girl there? Is she seeing Jack or Cor?" Oh no, he turned into a little gossip hen!

She shrugged a little and smiled. "I dunno if she is seeing anyone. The second night of Beltane after you went home, I heard Jack yelling about an accident. Cor had been shot when he was helping Alain raid a slave compound. Jack and Hank brought him home and when I got into his room there was a naked girl knocked out as well. Apparently she was a slave and had been rescued too. Also it seems that Jack might have tranq'd her to shut her up. Now Jack comes by every day at lunch and brings her stuff. Its weird to see him like that. Relaxed." She shrugged again and nodded. "So, maybe he is mellowing out a little and would agree to take care of the baby." A look down at her stomach had her frowning. (s) "Are you still going to love me when it makes me fat?"

If it were anyone else he would have thought it was an odd segue, but this was Raye and he was becoming familiar with the way her mind went from one thing to the next. The story was forgotten about as he wanted to make the answer to her question perfectly clear. He placed a hand on that belly of hers and tilted his head enough to land a gentle kiss to her soft lips, murmuring, "I'll love ye no matter what. Yer beautiful now and ye'll be just as beautiful when yer carrying the baby. Nothing will change that or change how deeply, madly in love I am with ye." His lips continued to linger over hers, sometimes dipping for another kiss -- some short and some long -- but all with the same meaning behind them.

An almost shy smile spread gently along her lips and one of her hands pressed over his. (s) "I hope so." And her gaze met his just before her other hand reached over to tenderly cup his cheek. "I love you deeply and madly too." She punctuated the sentiment with an exchange of kisses. When their kiss was at last broken she murmured against his lips. "You are certain we can do this? We don't strike me as parental material." She actually chuckled at that thought.

"Yes we can. Right now? Probably not the best idea or time. I want to be selfish with ye and have ye all to myself. But years from now when we're both ready? We'll be better parents than anyone." He smiled against her lips, the confidence palpable in the tone of his voice. He knew she would be an excellent mother, and knew she had the same faith in him as a father. He was certain that the two of them were unstoppable when teamed together, no matter what their goal was. Their sum was greater than their parts, they were much better together than apart. All of this was simply fact.

There might have been just the very slightest hint of disappointment that fluttered across her face before being smoothly replaced with a sugary smile. "Yeah years from now...we will just get better with age, after all." She nodded lightly. It was silly to feel disappointed by something that wasn't supposed to take place for like twenty years, right? She hadn't wanted children ever. Well except when she was under the magic spell. For some reason once they really started talking about this baby and what it would be like it had started to seem real. She blinked a little in confusion at her own thoughts on this and looked around. "I think this room would have been perfect as my dressing room." Her usual crooked grin was placed just so upon her face and she nodded a little. "There is fantastic lighting from that huge window. Why didn't I see that before?" She hopped up from his lap and moved over to that window, pushing back the pale green curtains that nearly matched her eyes. She stood there and looked out over the city, seeing the moons and stars twinkling as well as the lights of the other houses and businesses.

He sat back in the chair and watched her, looking over her form as it bathed in the moonlight from the open window. It painted her in a light that made her look almost unearthly and unreal, as if she was too perfect for the world or reality to contain. It was as if she didn't actually exist, except for in his mind's eye. But all of that was a mixed reaction as he did catch the clue of disappointment before it vanished -- he was familiar with her emotes after all. After a moment of staring at her moonlit form he stood and walked behind her, hands gently placed on her shoulders. (s) "Raye, would ye want to have a child soon? The room might have been an excellent dressing room, but it makes a fantastic nursery."

Her response to his question was her typical reaction when trying to pretend she wasn't bothered. A slightly too shrill laugh was feigned as she looked over her shoulder and up at him. "Oh darling don't be silly. Can you see me caring for something that drools and stinks? Really." Shallow. Its what everyone thought of her, right? She worked hard to give the impression, so why stop now? "My clothes are much more important than a child...and they need a home." The act might have worked if her lower lip hadn't started to quiver in the midst of that false confession of clothing being more important. Her head was turned so that he wouldn't see the faltering of the mask, jades staring without blinking. She finally leaned back against him, shoulders slouched forward a little. The stoic expression, stoic in a way only an elf can be, was broken by the twitching of the corner of her lips.

"Raye," his voice still soft as his hands slid down from her shoulders to her arms, where they moved them to the front of her body as he hugged her close to him, "A child is much more important than yer clothes. I only ask because if ye want to have a child soon, then..." He paused, afraid of the next thought. Though he had been thinking it frequently lately, but he was scared to confess it. Scared that it might frighten her. They had already fallen so deep in love so fast, and that both added to and gave pause to this. Regardless, Jono felt now was the time to broach the subject. "I want to marry ye before we have a child. It would be right that way. So maybe we should take that step first, and then... I'd be ready for a child then."

She swallowed heavily, blinking those thick sooty lashes numerous times before they began to collect the droplets she had been so furiously attempting to blink away. She forced another laugh, shoulders shaking and hopefully he would think it due to the laughter and not from what really caused it. "Jono, have you seen my clothes? No child is as important as.." She couldn't feign the musical voice or the uncaring flippant attitude any longer. (w) "I have no family. I am alone in this world with nothing that I can call my own." She drew in a deep breath and placed another smile upon her lips for his benefit as she turned around in his arms and gazed up at him.

"In twenty years we will go pick out a tux for you and a blazing red dress for me, something more revealing than that dress I wore to Beltane and we will find someone to marry us so we can have this snotty stinking child." She let him off the hook with grace didn't she? She loved him with all of her heart and the soul she wished she had and therefore wouldn't condemn him to marriage until he was old and sure. She was not someone it was healthy to be chained to. And the thought of someone being chained to her terrified the hell out of her. A few more chuckles and she slipped from his arms, muttering a laughable excuse as she slipped from the room and moved down the hallway to the restroom. Once the door was shut, she turned on the water and allowed herself to cry like she couldn't in front of him, splashing cold water over her eyes frequently to prevent the redness and swelling that would otherwise show. SHe leaned over the sink sobbing quietly, hoping the splashing water would drown out the sound.

He just frowned deeply as she played off his words and her own insecurities. There were few things that Jono had ever been as sure of in his life as wanting to marry Raye and spend his life with her. He followed her toward the bathroom a moment after her departure, knocking on it before putting both hands on the frame. He wouldn't simply barge in, even if he wanted to, especially as he was able to hear some sounds over the splashing water. Voice raised so he could speak through the door. "Raye, I don't want to wait twenty years. I'd marry ye right now if there was someone here to do it. Yer not alone now. I'm here. I don't know how much that helps to comfort ye, but... I want to marry ye, and I want to have children with ye." The plural of the word used purposefully.

What did he get for his most valiant efforts at making a crazy elf happy? The sounds of her sobs increased tenfold and would be audible even over the water and through the door. Sobsob."You are insane Jonothon Shaw. There is something very wrong with you." Hello Kettle says the Pot. "Don't say those things to me." Sobbbbbbb. "Twenty years." Sobsob. "Red dress. And children" Sob-howl.
She hiccuped and stopped in mid sob. "Children? You mean more than one?" The doorknob was turned and the door wedged open just a fraction as she peered out at him. "Have you lost your damn mind?" Sniffle. Sniffle. Sneeze.Hiccup.

He was biting his lip and smiling, his own tears had started to form simply from hearing her sobs. It was like his heart was being stabbed each time she cried, something he couldn't bear. His brown eyes caught her jade hues through the fraction of the door that was opened, and he nodded. At least no hair would fall into his face right now thanks to the ponytail. "More than one, yes. And I'm going to keep saying I want to marry ye until ye get it through yer pretty elven head just how much I love ye and want to spend my life with ye. And give ye as many children as ye want. If I lost my mind, it's because I love ye so much it's driven me mad." He chuckled lightly through the grin, but his words were sincere.

"Well I am unfit to take care of one of those things...let alone this passel of them you are planning." No, he never mentioned a passel. Jades were narrowed a little as she poked her head out of the door. "Oh no you don't. You aren't blaming me for your mental illness. You have to be very messed up in the head to be seriously contemplating marrying me and having all of these kids." The door was opened just a little wider until her entire upper body was leaning out. "When did twenty years turn into now? Last thing I knew, I disliked kids and never wanted them. Then I decided one in twenty years and now we are getting married and having a bunch of the nasty little buggers." Head tilt. "Are ya drunk?" Even more confused look. "Maybe I am and I don't remember drinking?" She gave him a watery smile. "I love you even if you are completely insane." Said the sobbing, sniffling, hiccuping elf that ran away to cry when the man she loved offered her what every other girl dreamed of.

He didn't even know what a passel was! But he still kept that smile up and as she leaned her upper body out of the doorway one hand went to cup her cheek as he pressed his lips to hers; soft, tender, and long. The kiss would hopefully help communicate just how serious he was when he said he wanted to marry and have children, as well as how absolutely in love he was with her. Lips pulled on her bottom one as he gently leaned back before whispering, "Consider this a pre-proposal. But I am going to do a proper one for ye, and I do want to marry and have children and start a family with ye."

Its amazing she didn't just faint right there from the shock that overwhelmed her. Its just not nice to terrify a crazy person!
