Renna walked close to the infernal household, her cloak whipping the wind to one side, her hood whisping about her face with her hair, blocking and unblocking the sight of her one healthy eye, while the other stared blankly out to the damned household. A grin passing her lip as she descided further move closer, her hand moving up to knock on the door loudly, right now, she needed to see two men in this place.
Alex and Brian Ravenlock.
Standing there in the daylight, she looked about the grounds, waiting for someone to open the damned door. She had businesses with the two men, but right now she wanted to see Alex more than anything. Their last talk was quite interesting, and since now her HQ was almost built, she'd thought she would come here and see him herself, instead of summoning the man to her.
Because lets face it, only Brian knew the location of her new base and well, Alex didn't, and she liked to keep it like that for now. Turning again her gauntleted hand cracked against the door once more, her leather armour creaking with each movement she made, the Morning Star's spiky ball scratching against her thighs, punching holes into the monkish black cloak over the armour...
"Alex! Brian?!" Another harder knock followed by the kick of the door. "Open the door damn it!"

Jewell had risen even earlier then usual, eager to get some work in before the children started to wake up. Getting dressed quickly in denims and a t-shirt she went into her study. No sooner then she had sat down that she heard someone making a ruckus at her front door. Her study was particularly situated at the front of the house and a discrete parting of curtains let her see what ingrate had decided to bother her household at such an inhumane hour.

She clenched her teeth when she saw Renna. This would not do. That woman was not at all welcome at her household. Her children lived in this house! Rigid with anger she left her study, but not before she grabbed a dagger from her desk! What a place to keep a weapon.

A little touch to the wall before opening the door reassured her that her wards were still in place. Elemental wards that would keep anyone she deemed a threat out. As a Fae, the elements were her friend and at her call if needed. Even the very ground would respond if she were desperate enough.

She gestured one of the few servants in the house away from the door. The poor girl looked like she had ran all the way from the other end of the house to reach the door before Jewell. "I got it," she mouthed to her. She would deal with this unwanted caller herself.

Bracing herself, dagger tucked into her back pocket and poking her every time she moved, she swung the right door of the double doors open.

"I will ask you to kindly refrain from using such language on my grounds," she deadpanned, tone sharp as she greeted Renna. Here, she was mistress.

Renna raised an eyebrow to the girl, she tried looking through the gap and notices the servant girl being dismissed. Of course that warrente a grin to pass her lips. It wa indeed an ungodly hour, and disturbing Jewel from her everyday life she made Renna's mind reel with satisifcation that she was disrupting someones good day.
"I am sorry, I am looking for Alex, or even Brian..." Looking into the house again, "May I come in? Or you gonna leave me on the door freezing my ass off?" Purple eyes stared out from the hood, the dead blind right eye staeing directly into Jewel's eye, though really how could that be intentional when it was blind?
A chuckle passed her lips, "Or you could direct me to them and I will leave with all haste, since I am not your favouite visitor to date, one would assume."

Brian was woken with a jolt as he recieved the summons. Looking left and right, he saw nothing and didn't even recognize where he was. He looked to his right and saw his hand hold Charlotte's and then he remembered. He brought her home fromt he Inn, and tucked her into bed and then sat there on the floor next to the bed and just feel asleep as he held her hand. Shaking his head once more, Brian rose to his feet.

Uncle Brian.. Uncle Brian!!

"Amanda?! What's wrong, sweetheart?"

Some woman is here, she wants Dad or you. Rennall is her name or something, Mom is talking to her now.

"Renna??"

Yeah that's it! She is at the front door. Mom feels really upset.

"How the hell did she find out where you lived?!"

I dunno, did you tell her?

"Like hell I did, look I am on the way. I'm gonna portkey to the pond. Keep an eye on yer mom."

'Kay!

Brian made his way to the weapons room and grabbed his tac harness and sword, and strapped up. After that, he grabbed the portkey which was still enclosed in its pouch and made his way to Charlotte's room. he gently kissed the top of her head and looked to Jean-Luc as he lay next to her. "Keep the house clean Jean, no visitors." The large cat looked to him as if to say something rather sarcastic and then closed his eyes once more.

Brian left the room and went to the living room and called out for his other Moor Cat. "Sorreah. Come on." The large female Moor Cat padded from the kitchen and sat at Brian's side as he knelt, and set his hand upon her and with his other hand he reached into the pouch and activated the port key. Within a flash he was gone.

He appeared at the pond and he and Sorreah made their to the front yard of the house and he could hear his sister and Renna speaking.

"Or could you direct me to them and I will leave with all haste, since I am not your favourite visitor to date, one would assume."

"You betcher ass on that one sweet cheeks." as he approached them. The large cat padding up next to Brian literally from the shadows. "What the hell are you doing here, no one said to come here for anything. I explained to you what was going on, now I have people asking me if I am assembling some damned force for what is coming? I spoke to you out of concern and to just ready you for what may or may not come and you run at the mouth and now everyone is running amok and worried even more so than they were before. Great effing job... Come with me, we are leaving to talk once more and maybe this time you'll understand as I will gladly say it in multiple languages." Brian then looked to his sister.

"Jewell, I am sorry. I never asked her to come here by ANY means. She and I will talk elsewhere and I will talk to you in the morn. Please get some rest."

Renna blinked from Jewel to Brain. Ah! Good timing, she was about to beat Jewel across the head. Well, she imagined it anyway. A smirk now as she stepped back from the door way and looked to Brian. "I said no such things to anyone but Toby, Brian." Sternly said, eyes narrowed, "Rumours tell me that people seem to know about this growing opposition against-" She paused, nodding as she turned to walk away from the house not even bothering to wait up for Brian.
"I am very sorry Jewel in bothering your peace-time." A wave, "Ta-ta girlie..." She paused quite far ahead, waiting for Brian, and waiting for him to give her a ear-bashing for even appearing at his doorstep. Or rather, Jewel's.
Either way she could careless, right now she would at leat confide in Brian about her plans. Living up to the truce they have between them.

She was eerily silent, not even speaking as Brian called Renna way from her door. Her only movement was to lean left against the door frame, effectively blocking entrance into her home. Or, perhaps, to block that little figure she knew to be standing on top the staircase from running down and greeting her uncle.

No one entered her house against her wishes.

Jewell's social life was one thing. People could threaten her with bodily harm until their faces turned blue, they could even make good on such promises. She didn't care. The second they stepped onto the avenue that led to her house it was personal- more than personal.

Grey eyes were absolutely frigid as they regarded Renna was she walked away. "Don't come back here again, Renna. If you have something to say to me, find my elsewhere. Stay away from the rest of my family, otherwise." Her tone, when she finally had spoken, left little room for argument. She didn't shout, not even raise her voice above a deadly calm. It was the tone she learned to take on as royalty. It was dangerous, a promising threat inflected if one went against it.

She would think Renna a fool if she dared to come to the house again- onto her home territory.

Brian lead Renna away, he figured they could talk elsewhere. Truth be told Brian was down right pissed as hell. "Renna, don't you ever go to my sister's home again.. No one comes here. There are so many ways to get a hold of me, and coming to her house in the dead of night is not the way to do it. We'll talk elsewhere, you pick the place."

Renna smirked, "I am sorry for causing some ruckus but at least my plan worked..." Turning to him, "I knew you'd come running to me if I simply uttered your name here, to your Sister's face, at her house. For now, Brian, I will need you to come to these directions... Three days from now." She held out a piece of ripped paper, on them, was directioned to her Fort, "You may not need these, but here, just incase..."
Renna turned and walked away from him, she heard Jewel, but she ignored her entirely. Renna did what she want, and when she wanted... IF that meant coming back here, she'd do it alright.

"Causing a ruckuss... That's an understatement. I am not that hard to find, Renna." Brian said as they walked away from the house. Looking to Renna a moment Brian sighed and shook his head as they stopped and she gave the directions. "You need me and in three days time?" as he took the paper from her hand. As he watched her depart he looked back to his sister's home and started back towards it to speak with Jewell. "I wonder if it is a party, and if it is will she have cake? I do so love a good cake."

A finger ran under his nose as he slipped up the road that lead the to establishment. Before him, did he see two people - both of which earned a well-worth groan of displeasure. It didn't take much, either. Brian taking off, and Renna left alone, he slinked on over. Eyes trailed her up and down only for a moment, as his brows lifted, "So - decided to stalk the family only days after telling me how much you disliked them?" His moments worth of musing would quickly trail off, "Yet you didn't even stab him in the face. Tsktsk.. guess you can't always take the briefest opening."

His arms cross over his chest as his head canted slightly to the left, then. "So? What are you doing here? Not.. that I don't like company. It's just the one place I would least likely expect you to be."

Jewell staid her position, leaning somewhat casually against the door frame. She had half her attention on the interaction between Renna and Brian as they walked away, the rest was focused on her daughter standing on the stairs behind her.

She didn't look to the young girl, but there was no mistaking who her scolding words were directed to, "Amanda Ravenlock you turn around and go right back into your room. I don't want to hear another peep out of you until I come in and speak with you. The next time you want to take action for yourself and summon someone here, you speak to me first. This is my household."

Amanda opened her mouth to refute and quickly thought better of it. She couldn't see her mother's face but she could see the tenseness in her back and hear the coldness in her voice. Now was not the time to make her case. She turned and went back to her room to sulk. She would probably be waiting some time to think over her actions before her mother decided to come and speak with her. She's so difficult!

With Amanda out of the picture, Jewell could focus her attention solely on the scene before her. To say that she was not pleased with what she saw was an understatement. Brian walking towards her was nothing unpleasant but Alex approaching Renna was completely inappropriate. She pushed off the door frame and took a few steps outside. Raising her voice, despite the early hour, "Alexander Ravenlock..if you want to talk to that witch you will not do it within sight of this house." Oh yeah, she was most definitely speaking through her teeth.

Brian overheard Jewell rip into Amanda and felt bad. He knew why Amanda had summoned him, after all Amanda was as smart as any of them and no doubt knew what her mother and Brian had been through the last two weeks and also the fact Alex was not home and it was in the dead of night. Brian was the next choice to call. He didnt mind by any means, after all he was glad he was summoned. Renna under any circumstances was not someone to take lightly. Setting his sword against the wall on the porch he looked to his sister with an apologetic look. "I'm sorry Jewell.. I didn't know Renna knew where you were. This is my fault. Also, please don't be so hard on manda.. She meant well. I know she over stepped herself, but please look at her concern."

Sorreah canted her head and looked back and Brian noted Alex a moment and heard his comments to Renna. Shaking his head slowly as he moved from the door way as his sister passed him.

"Alexander Ravenlock..if you want to talk to that witch you will not do it within sight of this house."

Brian watched on and truth be told felt annoyed as well. He knew Alex had his own agenda, and he knew Alex was meeting with Renna. It was no secret and Jewell knew it as well. Then again Alex was Alex and that wasn't going to change. After Brian caught he tone of Jewell's voice, Brian went into the house and headed towards Amanda's room to talk to her before he left and give Jewell some time with Lex.

He looked up past Renna, towards Jewell with her unpleasent tone. Heaving a sigh, he slinked past Renna and towards the loving wife, little smile present. "What, I can't find out on my own why someone that wanted to kill you only days ago would show themselves here? Excuse me for making sure everyone's well-being is in check." And Jewell would probably understand that by everybodies, he meant hers. He scoffed a bit as he walked up next to her, hand over his shoulder in a wave, "Do what they ask of ya, then, Renna. Really don't need the bloodshed, right now." He planted a quick kiss to Jewell's cheek, only moments before slipping inside. "Who wants some popcorn!"

Renna watched... Family scabbles and pointless banter. She watched Alex walk in, with a more than cheery mood, but she would have the last laugh soon enough in this damned encounter.
Instead of staying she walked off. Perhaps she'd send a messanger to Alex instead sometime soon.
