Sometimes she had wandered why she bothers with these kind of visits. To be honest, she wasn?t sure if Jewell would be in this house at all considering she spends most of her time on that infernal, infinitely annoying great big wet body of disgustingly tasting salty ocean! Renna stood there in front of that door for quite some time, for she was most afraid to knock on that door.

?Why do I let Daisy talk me into these things...?? She glanced down at herself and at her very hip and modern clothing. Her lucyboots and leather gloves were ever present ? as always, though this time she wore something quite horrible girly which is quite unlike her. For one, it was a black crushed velvet blouse; of all things, and a white skirt that dropped to her ankles complete with black tights! She could have easily passed off as some kind of normal human, for sure. ?I feel silly.? She muttered.

Renna hugged the small foil wrapped present close to her chest, scarlet eyes glaring past her fringe. She just felt so out of place, she normally didn?t make house calls. Not to anyone affiliated with the Ravenlocks these days for that matter. Well, all but Jewell, but even then things are kinda rocky between them. She was not sure if she would be welcomed here or not, she did kind of spring the idea of her visit onto the Empress, rather suddenly...

Not that Renna cared mind you.

"Scratch that I don?t feel silly, I look completely silly.? She knocked on the door very loudly with her knuckles, ?If you don?t open the door, I?ll huff, and puff, and blow another one of your houses down.?

?You know that?s hardly funny and I doubt I will be as forgiving this time as I was the last time you destroyed my house.? Jewell?s voice, filled with dry humor, came from one of the windows next to the front door of the house. Merely been passing by the room, she had caught a glance of Renna coming up the drive through the window and had stepped inside to take a closer look. She had remained silent, though, hidden behind a set of curtains as she watched the Betrayer hesitate at her front door.

Honestly, she had not even recognized Renna at first in her new set of clothes. When she had realized who it was that was trying to pay a visit, she was not horribly surprised; Renna had stated she planned to do this. What did surprise Jewell was that Renna had wanted to in the first place. They were not on the best of terms these days--though much better than they ever had been when they first met--and ended up fighting more often than not when they met. For Jewell, none of that really mattered. Renna was Renna and she was family. Apparently, it didn?t much matter to Renna either.

After saying her little piece, she came around to the front door and opened it. Ever trying to be the gracious host, she gestured for Renna to step inside and gave her an apologetic smile. ?Sorry I am not exactly dressed for receiving guests,? which she certainly was not in her messy hairdo and old, beat up dress that was perfect for helping to clean the house, ?we were just doing a bit of cleaning. But come in, I think we have some lemonade already made and we can take it out back on the patio since it?s rather nice out, if you would like??

Renna smiled softly as she heard the muffled voice from somewhere off to her right, though quickly formed into her signature, and rather malicious toothed grin as the door opened, ?Oh you love me too much to not forgive me, in blowing down your second house. It might happen, you never know?? She looked aside, nonchalantly trying to look as innocent as she could possible be.

The dark scarlet eyes eventually looked upon Jewell and her day cleaning attire, and restrained any sarcastic comment about looking quite, un-Empressy. If there was such a word. She stepped inside once offered, ?That is fine, you always look much better than me no matter what you wear, or what condition you are in,? that was mumbled somewhat, ?how are you, Jewell? If you don?t mind, I?ll skip the lemonade.?
