She was up bright and early, digging through her limited wardrobe at the Sanctuary to find something suitable to wear. It stung her fashion-sense to only have part of her wardrobe available to her, but she was suffering through it well enough. If she didn?t find too many worthwhile outfits today she might have to make a run back to her house to pilfer a few more items from her closet there. For now, what she had at her disposal would have to do and she chose a black wrap dress that she wore over a pair of dark denims and a set of fey-slippers to match. All of it was easy to take off, which was good when shopping or when she was planning to be with Stephen.
A jacket was thrown on over the ensemble and she called out through the hall, ?I?m going out,? to whichever of the Sisters might be present. She didn?t want anyone worrying but it was taking her a while to get used to this courtesy thing, she was accustomed to just coming and going as she pleased. Out the door she went and through the streets of RhyDin in the early morning hours, businessmen just emerging to open their shops and a few school children running late. She had little trouble navigating her way through the somewhat empty streets towards the Red Dragon Inn, stopping to purchase two warm buns from one of the bakeries on the way.
Munching on one of the buns, she stepped into the Inn. Basically deserted this early in the morning, save for a few drunks leftover from the night before, Jewell passed through the common room and ascended the stairs to the rooms above. She was hoping Stephen hadn?t left yet for the day, going down to the docks or about some other business. She knocked softly on the door to room number seven, resisting the urge to just use the key she still kept for the room, and barging in on him. It was a very hard impulse to resist: waking him up by jumping on the bed and showering his face with kisses. With an iron will, she simply knocked again; ?Stephen, it?s Jewell.?
