Topic: The Sumptuously Magnificent Slumber Party

Natsuki

?Par-tey~ Par-tey~? came Suki?s sing song voice as she made her way down to Jewell?s room. Where else to throw her slumber party? than someone else?s room? Besides, Jewell?s room was ?far- more comfortable and had that lived in feel.

And so she entered. And boy did she enter. A foot nudging open the door that had been left open a crack, she entered carefully and slowly, balancing a large tray of, what else?, snacks! Piled high with bismarcks, fresh fruits, and chocolate wafers was this trip?s delivery, there was still more in the kitchen to be retrieved as the night went on of course. The tray of snacks might have been something eye catching, but was nothing though, compared to what she wore. Yellow skirt with frills going down a few inches past her knees, elbow length white gloves, long sleeve plain pink t-shirt with a second red top that had white frills adorning the straps, and a faded green jester-like hat with white fuzz balls instead of bells at the end. Oh it was a sight to behold.

From there she proceeded slowly, with her stubborn hair and one of the fuzzy white balls of her hat settling down in front of one eye, and with no free hands to bat at it out of her sight, she made her way inward by merely placing one foot out at a time, feeling out if the next step was safe before repeating the process towards the trio?s setup of pillows, beanie bags, and assort other items of comfort. Placing it upon the floor between Charna?s and Jewell?s setups she stepped over to her sleeping bag and few pillows she had setup earlier before stepping out to slip into her pajamas and grab some snacks on the way back. And yes, these were indeed her pajamas; in between concentrating on the tray and settling in she had so far managed to avoid any gaping and/or staring of her chosen bedtime outfit.

Kneeling down on her sleeping bag before falling forward to the few pillows she had brought in from the guest room she was staying at, she continued to coincidently avoid eye contact, in the process of getting comfortable by lying on her stomach with a nice and fluffy pillow propped up beneath her forearms that she rested her chin. The one single grape she had procured from the tray swallowed. Her knees bending to absently kick her feet in the air, covered by purple socks that reached halfway up her calves. As she seemed to finish getting all comfortable she lifted her visible green iris to glance up at the other two, her excitement almost tangible.

?Okay, so what do we do first??

Jewell was lounging around on a mound of pillows and blankets--all piled on top of one of those awesome bean-bag doggy-bed-for-people type things--waiting for Nat to come back with their assortment of treats. She was completely comfortable in her sports top and sweatpants combo, keeping warm in a sweatshirt so over sized for her small frame it would be natural to assume it had once been a man's. She figured the girls would appreciate her breaking her sleeping-mostly-or-completely naked tradition for them.

She had spent the earlier part of the day cleaning up her room for them too. As brand new as the house was, Jewell's room quickly became a disaster area. Clothing had been strewn every which way as well as weapons and children's toys. Now it was neat and she could sit back and enjoy her little sanctum.

The walls were crackled different shades of blue, textured to appear like the rippling ocean that crashed on the rocks outside her balcony. She had pushed the low backed couch away from the chairs in the corner of the room, giving the girls and herself a nice space to chill for the night.

Her eyes were dancing around the room, occasionally stopping on Charna as they chit-chatted idly, before Nat came in. The singing drew her eyes to the door to welcome back their comrade in sleep-over-party-fun and her mouth fell open just a tad when she saw Nat, hidden as she was behind all that yummy food.

She followed Nat with her eyes carefully as she got settled, a grin tugging on her lips. She should have known to expect something unique from the teen by now. It took her a moment to respond to the question, somewhat taken aback as she had been, but she did so with enthusiasm to match the young girl's, "Oh! I was thinking we could paint our nails, or tell stories while we eat. Or maybe play a game! Spin the bottle won't really work...but I have cards!"

Charna had been about to retort to one of Jewell's comments when she, too, was distracted by the singing and owner of the voice, the oh-so marvelously dressed Natsuki. She giggled softly, muffled by her hand, as the girl's quirky nature and aura playing on her slight giddiness. She didn't mean to sound as if she was mocking. She was actually rather charmed.

When the snacks were set down, surprisingly enough, Charna was the first to pounce on them. Judging by her figure, you'd think she hardly ate at all, but already she'd arranged herself quite a little assortment, all piled up on a dish.

She drew herself up from her own pile of cushions, blankets and all other sorts of cozy things to sit cross-legged, a fleece blanket tangled around her. For the night, she'd chosen ridiculously girly and juvenile pajama bottoms with big, cartoony owls painted orange and green spread out across a light blue background. She'd somehow managed to pull her hair into pigtails, though they looked ready to fall apart with any sudden head movement. She really ought to let her hair grow out more. To finish the look, she chose a white, long-sleeve thermal shirt, which cleverly hid all her scars and nail marks. The Vixen was a girl of many vices.

She set her little horde on her lap and dug in, greedy fingers leading food to an even greedier mouth. As her teeth worked on mashing up sweets and treats, she let her eyes and ears focus on the two other females. Her lips pulled into a grin at Jewell's multiple suggestions. Honestly, all of them sounded good to her. She decided to let Natsuki have the final say, here, in how they would kick off the evening. So, the turquoise eyes jumped on over to the blue-haired girl, smile set even though her jaw was mighty busy.

Even with her friends? reactions subdued Suki seemed to be a bit sharper tonight, her eye wandered back and forth between the two, the beginnings of a blush started, even if mostly hidden by the usual drape of blue, the pool of jade widening partially, ?? whaaaat??

As if she didn?t know! Yet the prospect of the evening?s activities as relayed by Jewell sent her mind spinning elsewhere it seemed and pearls descended to her lower lip to keep from shouting out the first games that crossed her mind, emerald gaze wandering over to Charna?s, as if awaiting for permission from the other to suggest any of a possible billion games in her head, but the other was chewing merrily away and Suki whispered quietly, a quick glance back over to Jewell away from the consuming Charna briefly, ?How does she do it anyway??

And yet, perhaps coincidently or in an effort to draw away attention Charna managed to pull Suki off that line of questions with her ?go ahead? look and she raised herself up on to her elbows, gloved fingers interlocking before her in a sign of barely contained glee and her face spoke it as well, ?Yay! ? ? ano ? well??

Her expression faltered. There were only so many hours in a night! How was she to choose which of billions and billions of things to do? This was too much for one teen! A bite to her lower lip again as she began to think, a hand slipping away from the other?s grasp to steal a grape away from Char?s plate to, as she explained it, ?Help her think better.? Now what had Jewell suggested the other night that sounded so wickedly fun?

?Well there?s Tru?? and a third bite to her that poor lip to stifle out the rest of ?th or dare?. No no no no no. That was much too embarrassing! ?? uuu??, what could she turn that word into that wouldn?t too obvious?, ? ? oops of card games I know! Mhm! We could play Rich Man Poor Man! I know that one! It was my favorite back in school. I didn?t win much, and CharChar said she was really good at card games but I?m sure you could beat her Jew! It?s a really simple game, you see you deal out all the cards to the players and the youngest goes first, so then she lays down a card number, as many as she want. Then the next person has to match that, play higher or pass. If everyone passes the original person starts all over again. If all four of a card number is played consecutively the number orders reverse for the round and it?s called a ?Revolution? and you?re supposed to say it all scary and sudden like when you do it. Threes are the lowest and twos are the highest, and the loser, the poor man? we ano? we can paint their toe nails and they doesn?t get a say in the color!? In. One. Breath. Was that a bit of panic in the teen?s voice?

?Troops of card games?? Her head hung for a moment and then jerked up again to peer out at the two to see if she had slid it past them, an enthusiastic nod given to help convince herself as well, the jerky movements of her head resulting in a slight net loss of blue curtain to reveal the shade of red that was returning to the tops of her cheeks.

Hand reaching out for another grape from CharChar?s pile?

She grabbed up a chocolate wafer immediately after rattling off her suggestions, shoving it in her mouth. Chocolate was divine, in Jewell's mind, and she was easily swayed by its endorphin producing abilities. With Natty's little, "Whaaaat," she disobeyed one of the major rules of her household and tried to speak with her mouth full, "Oo jus wook cuuuuta den us."

Fortunately no one berated her for such a rude display of lack of manners and her attention was drawn by Natty to the food-devouring Charna. She grinned, seeing her friend eat so...well, this food wasn't exactly top of the list healthy but it was better than nothing! She was also saved from answering Natty's question by the girl herself as she switched subjects once more.

Laughing, she curled up on her side--head propped up by a pillow or five--and went about consuming another chocolate wafer. Grey eyes egged Natty on, encouraging her to speak up and pick a game. When "Truth or Dare" seemed to be on her lips, she sat upright to interject what a great idea that was! Natty didn't give her the chance and Jewell became a bit slack-jawed as the girl started rattling off the rules to one of the "troops of card games" she knew.

Her brow furrowed as she tried to back-track and go over the rules in her head again. The only thing that really stood out to her is what she posed a question on, "Why does the youngest get to go first?"

Charna Lyndria

Jewell had it all covered. Charna had picked up on that curious little falter that Suki tried to play off, too, but what with her cheeks all puffed out with food, she was finding it hard to speak and call her out on it. She gave Jewell a little look, as if to assure that later they would get to that game. Best to start off slow, right?

A smirk as she forced down the full mouthful of mashed up food, fingers still quick even after it'd been so long ago that she'd done any real thieving, using them to catch Suki's hand as the girl reached for more of her food. A faux snarl, which was ruined by her giggling at the end of it.

"Now, now, darling. People have lost hands for doing that. Want I should make you up a little plate, too?"

She tacked on a purr towards the end of the question, Jewell chiming in immediately afterwards. Charna nodded her head along with the sentiment, a raven brow sliding up.

"Yeah....are you trying to get an unfair advantage there, you little sneak?"

She snickered after that, as well. She really didn't want Suki to take her seriously. That'd be a shame.

Natsuki

Suki giggled and nodded at the offer to heap her up a plate, the tray just being slightly out of reach for her, a quick pointing of grapes and other smaller delicate fruits, and fingers held just an inch apart to indicate just a ?smidge- of a Bismarck to be broken off and added to the plate. She was definitely not following Charna?s lead here.

Her eyes widened and both hands snuck out, showing off a briefly amazing display of keeping herself propped up sans-elbows to snag the plate being slid towards her. Then the double team attack occurred. Red hot blush creeping up her face in the matter of seconds as she glanced from one to the other, lips parted in a silent cry from their ?accusations-, and at that moment, fingers just barely grasping the plate it seemed that gravity caught up to the startled cutie and ?whump-. Down she went. Embarrassment upon embarrassment. The only way it could have been worse would have been for her face to of fallen into the plate?s Bismarck.

A momentary pause before she lifted her head up and sniffled lightly, a definite first, before glancing between the two once more, her voice still soft yet producing an earnest forcefulness behind it, ?That?s just how I was always told!? She nods as she scooches back up onto her elbows once more, plate dragged inch by inch with her, ?It?s not my fault I?m the youngest!? More nodding as she glanced back and forth, her voice tinged with sincerity and hurt now, she obviously took this to a slightly higher level of seriousness than had been intended, but not too far, no tears were falling anyhow. The red from the blush was fading slowly, although a light red spot on her forehead lingered and peeked out from slits in the heavy hair hanging down from where she had taken the slight fall.

?I?m not very good at it anyway??

JewellRavenlock

She watched in amazement as Natty first defied gravity and then became it's victim! She was leaning forward to check and see if the younger girl was okay when she popped back up, giving Jewell quite the scare. She tumbled back onto her pillows with a little "Gah!"

It took her a moment to recover and by then Natty was well on her way to looking upset. This could not be allowed! Friends were not allowed to be visibly upset in Jewell's presence, especially on super-cool sleep over night! She instantly scoots over the floor once more and throws her arms about Natty in a hug, "Now now...darling, Charna was just playing! We both were. Of course the youngest goes first, that makes the most sense." She just rattles that off so easily, motherly training put to good use.

"So, don't worry! Just sit back and leave everything in my capable hands!" With a manic laugh, she sits back on her throne of pillows and takes the cards out. She dealt out the cards with a little bit of clarification dragged out of Natty and a bit of stumbling through the first round...a practice round!

The second round went a little better quicker too! When Jewell won, she insisted that it was no longer practice and for real, "And since you lost, Natty, I get to choose a color for your toe-nails. Though, I'm not painting them cause feet are yick!" She was so at ease, laughing and shoving remnants of fruit in her mouth between turns.

Charna Lyndria

"Oooooh! Jewell has a foot-phobia!"

Which, of course, prompted Charna to lift her leg a bit, pretending she was going to bring an obnoxious-slipper covered foot over to her face. She refrained from actually doing it, of course. She just wanted a reaction.

"But anyway, I'll do the painting. Just give me a color! Or we could make a pretty little spectrum?"

She giggled, wiggling her eyebrows as she looked between the girls. Again, she was on the same page as Jewell. She felt happy and like, at least for this portion of time, everything was right with their world. It felt so good to have friends, girl friends, who she didn't have to act around. The stage she forced herself onto got exhausting.

"And just wait 'til the next round. Now that I've got the hang of this...I'm sooooo going to cream you guys!"

More laughter, since she was using mostly feigned cockiness to threaten them. She was rusty on her card games, that was for sure, but she was improving round by round. She and Laurana used to dominate with a pack of cards, though the games they played were much different from this. Plus, there might have been cheating involved back then.

"But...how many more rounds do we want to play? I mean...there are only so many hours in a night...and I -know- Jewell must be ready to gossip..."

She stifled a snicker as she slithered a sidelong glance over to the fae, awaiting some executive decisions.

Suki was smiling again after the motherly hug and words. She just couldn?t stay unhappy it seemed. She bunny kissed Jewell in return for the uplift and after a quick rub to her forehead she quickly scooped up the cards being dealt, happily clarifying any rules for them.

The look slowly fell over the next five minutes as she got horribly hammered in the game, only managing to shed less than a quarter of the cards she was dealt. Yet it was only a practice round! The happiness returned once more as the next round started and once again her mouth slowly slipped open in disbelief as in the real round she shed even less cards. The girl has no luck. A whimper was stifled by biting her lip again and upon remembering her hasty rules to make the game more interesting and divert them away from Truth or Dare slip she swallowed nervously at Jewell?s declaration which then turned to ? what else, but further embarrassment, ?My feet aren?t yicky!?

She pushed herself up, and swung around to place her sock covered feet on the pillow she had been using, tugging the feet?s socks off, ?Only one foot per loss though?? perhaps she might win the next round and stave off ruining her beautifully colored toenails that perfectly matched her hair color, marvelously pedicured toes wiggling briefly in the air as Charna reached for the color? or colors that Jewell indicated. The teen was looking everywhere but towards the ruination of her toenails, an effort to keep her toes from fidgeting under Charna?s ministrations.

?? well, I?ve guess just one more round? I?ve only got one foot left to paint? but this time I?ll win for sure!? her fist raised and shaken in pure determination.

?

Just twenty minutes later she was squirming again, laying on her back to stare up at the ceiling, unable to bring herself to look at her toe nails as Charna painted the other foot?s set. She lamented more to herself than the others, ?? how do I always end up with all the threes??

Her voice raising to comment to the other two, one forearm resting over her eyes in an unintentionally dramatic pose to help her from peeking, and it helped hide the red creeping over her face from losing? horribly? twice. The previous tone shed for a bit more cheery sounding one, ?I don?t wanna choose the next game? JewJew can pick since she won the first game. I don?t know about this ?gossip?, but just no more card games for me tonight??

JewellRavenlock

Jewell indeed have a foot-phobia and squealed and squirmed anytime one came near her. To torture them--though it was really only torture for poor Natty--in turn she picked out a brilliant pink for Natty's right set of toe nails, "It's one of my daughters colors...they just love it!"

Despite the foot-phobia, she gleefully watched on as Charna painted Natty's toe nails. The glee transformed into hysteric laughter as Natty lost the second round and found herself subject to Charna's painting skills on her other foot.

"Sure, blame it on the threes Nat!" Her laughter tappers off, cheeks delightfully red from the exertion.

Charna had mentioned gossip earlier, the Empress certainly thrived on it. Little bob of her head back and forth as she took a moment to think over what they should do next. "I saaaaay..." that's right, leave them on the edge of their seats, "Truth or Dare! Gossip isn't really a game, so we can get to that later!"

Yes, Truth or Dare would certainly be interested with the girlies. She was already cooking up several fun dares--some that may take them out of doors dressed as they were--to deal out!

Charna Lyndria

She was just finishing up Natsuki's pinky toe, painting the nail a putrid green color, when she heard Jewell's game choice. She sat bolt upright, her huge grin defying logic by only growing bigger. She nodded furiously, putting strain on the pigtails, which looked as if they were coming loose.

"Yes, yes! Truth or dare! Let's start!"

The normally stormy blue-green eyes weren't quite as cloudy, now. Delight was sparked behind them as they danced from one girl to the other, her right hand still holding up the cap with the nail-brush at the end. She'd chosen all sorts of bright and kind of sickly colors when decorating Suki's toes, such as icky purple, bright yellow, a color called "acid rain", and a too dark red along with the aforementioned green. She took a look down, grinning to her handiwork and to the owner of the toenails, before craning her neck to smirk over at Jewell.

"I'm not afraid...but maybe Natsuki should be."

She snickered, waggling her brows. She screwed the cap back onto the nail polish, so that there wouldn't be any spills, before giving a little bounce, awaiting further instructions. More sweets found their way into her mouth.

Natsuki

Date: 2006-09-26 19:43 EST
Suki was doing her best of -refusing- to look down at her toes, the aforementioned wiggiling in the air briefly as if they might knock off the colors they had been given. No, she really didn't want to see the pinks, purples, greens or reds. She looked like she was resigning herself to the night to simply hide her face in shame behind the arm and perhaps make it to the next day and find a way to remove the colors, or just never look at her toes again.

Yet the combined efforts of her friends were determined to ruin her plans. Bolting up to a sitting position her mouth with an 'o' of horror formed at the prospect of 'truth or dare' the lips formed a bigger 'O' at the colors dancing on her toes. She did what anyone could do... should do in that situation. A pillow was snatched and she desperately swatted at Charna, falling over on her side in the process to reach the snacking lady, her voice wailing "You're so mean to me oneesan! Jewell ask her first!"

JewellRavenlock

Date: 2006-09-27 15:37 EST
Their mixed reactions over the suggested game were delightful. Jewell herself was giddy with excitement--truth or dare could prove to be so enlightening and entertaining!

She grinned her agreement to the fact that Natty should be scared, "Oh yes! Charna and I can be quite...merciless." She had branched off as Natsuki just smacked the snacking Charna with a pillow. Grabbing up one of the pillows nearest to her she leaned over and smacked Nat on the head with it. "Pillow fights come later!"

Letting the pillow drop, she sat back and eyed Charna with a wicked smile forming on her lips. "All right...Charna, truth or dare?" She was practically bouncing in excitement, thinking of all the wickedly embarrassing things they could make each other do.

Charna Lyndria

Date: 2006-09-29 01:37 EST
"Oof! Heeeey! You're one to talk about being mean, zaichik!"

She retorted, rubbing the side of her head where the pillow had hit. Of course, she was playing it up a little, trying to fend off the grin. The pigtail on the right side, where she'd gotten thwapped, had sprung loose finally, creating an awkward new hair-do. Bits of a strawberry were smeared on her cheek, too, considering she'd been munching on one of those when she was hit. After a teasingly tense moment where she scrunched her nose at Suki, a giggle broke through to ruin whatever pretend anger she had. The back of her hand was used to clean her face off, before she relieved the left pigtail, her inky black hair evening out.

And oh, once the giggle had gotten loose, nothing could stop her grin. Especially when she heard Jewell taking Natsuki's suggestion. She craned her neck, chin leading her face over to point at Jewell. Simultaneously, both brows were lifted up and waggled at the Empress.

"Dare, darling. The truth portion is never as much fun."

Natsuki

Date: 2006-09-29 09:29 EST
A tongue stuck out briefly at Charna?s accusation, perhaps a retort of ?You started it!? on her lips before she too is giggling, arms snaking out to wrap around Charna?s waist and now Charna?s lap has been commandeered as another of Suki?s resting spots, cheek resting on the other?s thigh to peer between the ridges of the vixen?s knees as she was sitting cross legged, to glance at Jewell, ?Ooooh? CharChar?s brave? I bet Jewell has been thinking of things ?allll- week.?

A nod given against the leg pillow to better convince them and herself that there would be horrible repercussions for choosing dare.

JewellRavenlock

Date: 2006-10-01 15:48 EST
"I was!" She chirped with a waggle of brows for Natty. Charna was certainly in trouble.

At least, Charna would be in trouble if Jewell could remember and decide on any of those horrible dares she had thought up over the past week. It was the start of the game so one had to be creative but not too over-the-top. This was a good friend so she couldn't be too cruel either. There weren't any males about so ordering someone to make-out with them or act in an embarrassing way was out.

The trouble she was having was clear upon her face, brow furrowing the harder she thought.

And then..."All right!" Fist pump before she levels a pointed finger at Charna, "You, my dear, must drink whatever it is I set before you!"

All right, so it was kind of college-initiation-into-a-frat type of thing but it would work to start with.

Charna Lyndria

Without much thought required, she rested one hand on Natsuki's head, drawing her nails carefully through the girl's hair. She was smirking, irises dancing from her lap to the fae sitting across from her.

"Oh, pleeeeease. I can handle whatever she throws at me..."

She said in reply to Suki's warning, cooing the confidence out. She tipped up her chin to show off that mock haughtiness she'd perfected over the better part of a decade, but unlike her usual performances, this one ended with a long fit of little giggles.

She watched as Jewellsie struggled for a bit to figure out a fitting initial dare, and just as she was about to tease her friend, Jewell issued the challenge. The Vix blinked once, lips pursed. She had to consider this offer, it seemed. But she knew Jewell well enough to know this probably wasn't dangerous, so it wasn't long before she was grinning again.

"Alright, Empress. Do your worst. Well, you know, worst not including poison."

She winked, all ready in the process of psyching herself up for this.

Natsuki

Suki smiled with ease as Charna ran stroked her hair, the peek between the knees continued at Jewell, her eyes widening as the billions of possabilities that ran through the teen's mind.

"You mean like water after dipping a frog in it? Or liquidated lima beans? Or that funny smelling drink Mr. Stares-a-lot has? Or water from the toliet bowl? Or..." her voice faded off as her imagination began it's runaway course it was so famous for, the possabilities only getting more outlandish for every moment of undisturbed rest she recieved, dark jade pools growing larger and larger with each suggestion and thought of all the things poor CharChar might be forced to drink.

JewellRavenlock

Date: 2006-10-03 14:24 EST
She clapped happily as Charna accepted her dare and climbed to her feet with much exaggerated groaning and whatnot as if she were really old.

She gave a bit of a pause at Natty's list of suggestions, nose wrinkling up in distaste, "Ewww...water from the toilet? That's just wrong!" Another moment worth of pausing and a shudder as she just thought about that some more, "Yick!"

She got control of herself and grinned to the girlies, "I am off to the kitchen to prepare your last drink, Vixen-o-Vixen! Follow if you dare." Laughing, she took off out of her bedroom and down the main staircase to go into the kitchen.

"I'm not missing this one! Just no peanuts! I'm allergic to peanuts!"

She squealed as she hopped to her feet and went to dart down the hall after the Empress. She stopped at the door to toss a look back at Suki.

"Well, c'mon, zaichik! You want to witness this one, don't you? Plus, I could make you another tray of grapes to snack on down there!"

She snickered, brows waggled at her "younger sister". She heard Jewell bounding down the stairs, then, prompting her to give Natsuki a frantic wave to come along.

"Let's go! I have to see what she's putting in this thing! Even though....it's probably better if I'm surprised..."

She gave her lower lip a tap with her finger, thinking that one over, before settling on a shrug of the bony shoulders. A parting snicker before she was dashing downstairs, too. Despite her lack of concern for her own safety, she managed to make it to the kitchen in one piece.

Natsuki

"Chotto matte kudasai!" cried the youngest of the three as she franticly scrambled to her feet, slipping a few times with the lack of purchase her socks were gaining on the nylon sleeping bag surface.

She looked far more curious than concerned about the grapes even though she bent down to grasp another one and took a half bite and placed it back on her plate, the hideously cute green hat still staying firmly attached to the top of her head in this 'head at knee level' manuver and then she's skipping along behind Charna, her arms thrown around Charna as they neared the kitchen placing her hands over her sister's eyes, " iie! You shouldn't see what's being put in it oneesan!"

She began to attempt to lead her blind friend into the kitchen, barely able to see over her friend's shoulder with little jumps before sticking her head out to the side in an effort to see around instead.

JewellRavenlock

Date: 2006-10-08 14:07 EST
Jewell went skidding into the kitchen, coming very close to having her feet come flying out from under her due to the incompatibility of her socks and the tile floor. She did bang right into the refrigerator, unable to stop herself and made a little "oof" sound. She loved modern conveniences but she gave the fridge a dirty look all the same.

Her good humor was easily restored as she heard the other two girls entering in after her. "No peanuts you say? All right," with a roll of her eyes over her shoulder at Charna as she grabbed a clean glass from a cabinet, "I guess I won't get you killed just yet...wouldn't be any fun on the first dare anyways."

Snickering at her own poor humor, she started to retrieve different liquids from the fridge and line them up on the counter: orange juice, grape juice, pineapple juice (the Ravenlocks were obviously a bunch of fruits), chocolate syrup, and concentrated lime juice. Added next to those was a jar of pickles, a salt shaker, and tomato sauce. "Uhh...I guess a little bit of everything, no?" She sent a glance Charna's way to see if she was turning green yet before grinning to Natty, "You're gonna hold her hair back if she pukes, right?"

She took her time, being excruciatingly slow, mixing up the dreadful concoction for Charna. A little bit of everything she had set out went into it before she held it out to her with a big grin.

Charna Lyndria

"Oof! Eep!"

That was the sound little Charnas made when smaller Natsukis were steering them into counters accidentally. Char stuck her hands out to grope the air in front of her, determined not to...

"Ow!"

...bang her elbow, again. A frown, but it subsided when she heard a clatter coming from somewhere ahead of her. She stepped forward timidly, using the sound as a guide. It was a role reversal, since she was now basically leading Suki.

"When I puke? Please! I bet I've choked down grosser! You wouldn't believe what used to constitute as meals for me...."

Which probably explained why she was so damn skinny. Of course, she didn't delve too deep into that topic. When all the mixing and pouring and devious cackling seemed to simmer down, she carefully reached up to remove Natsuki's hands from her eyes.

"Mind if I have a look now, dar---oh, gods, Jewell!" She exclaimed with a laugh. "It has chunks! And chocolate! Oh, you're wicked, all right...but I can do this!"

Her nose was wrinkled as her fingers wrapped around the glass, and it didn't look like she'd be un scrunching it anytime soon. The blue-greens flicked from Natsuki to Jewell, then back. Repeat. She avoided looking at the line of ingredients the Empress was thoughtful enough to leave out in the open.

"Alright...one....two...three!"

On three, she tossed her head back and began to pour the muddy colored, and yes, chunky, contents of the glass down her open throat. There was a gag, a visible one, but through sheer will, she forced the mouthfuls of ickyness down into her belly. Oh, she'd feel that later. After she'd drained the cup, she clamped her lips together, and took a few massive swallows to clear the remnants of the concoction from her mouth. She felt a little queasy, but thankfully, none of it was threatening to come up. A triumphant look to the Empress, now daring to open her mouth again to smile.

"Told you!"

"Gomenasai!! Quick, CharChar move lef-Gomenasai!." The blind leading the blind was an appropriate phrase to spring to mind before and after Charna took over the direction of where they were going. As they reached the table Suki's hands slipped away and she placed both palms on the counter top leaning forward onto it, both knees bending as she placed her heels nearly to her rear, balancing just so as only a ball of energy could.

Her lips soundlessly read each label she saw showing on the kitchen top, watching it all go in, however she managed not to say one word for nearly a minute, eyes widening and lips parting in an 'o' manner with each passing second as Charna -heroically- chugged down the concoction Jewell had made.

She simply had -nothing- to say for once right up until the end, "... I don't think I can play this game..."

She laughed madly as Charna got her first look of the drink...it did have chunks! Did she feel a little bad? Yeah, because if it was her drinking it she would have been gagging just looking at it. Fortunately, she didn't have to drink it so game on!

She watched with eager eyes as Charna chugged the horrible concoction, chanting a low, "Go! Go! Go!" At that gag she couldn't help but shudder, perhaps the tomato chunks were a bit much. She grabbed the nearest bowl she could find, holding it ready in case the Vixen had to vomit. She'd even hold her hair back for her as it would be her fault.

Fortunately, no vomit! "Wooo! Charna that was awesome!" Much clapping ensued until what Natty said processed in her brain. She stared at the girl a moment before breaking out in a grin, "Now now..we'll go easy on you sweets. Or, I will..I can't say the same for Charna."

She waggled her brows at the Vix, "Your turn!"

"Thank you, thank you..."

She grinned, giving a bow at the applause. She regretted that, immediately, when she felt everything slosh about in her tummy. It made a funny noise, so in turn, she made a funny face. Gone were the glory days of the iron stomach, apparently. She'd grown soft.

Thankfully, nothing was actually provoked back up her throat, so the grin found its way back to her lips and situated itself there after she'd straightened back up and given her barely there abdomen a light press with her palm. "It's having a battle with the earlier snacks." She explained, with a good-humored shrug.

A devious curl started at the corners of her mouth, blue-greens pulled to Natsuki.
"Darling, darling...you have to play! But..." Reluctant sigh. A joke. Maybe. "Fine. I'll agree to go easy on you, too, yeah? We'll work you up to dares like that. That is...if you take the dares."

She couldn't help but snicker, especially when the Empress reminded her who's turn it was. The devious grin turned into a positively devilish one.

"Speaking of which, Natsuki...Truth or Dare?"

Several quick steps were taken backward as Charna made that funny face and then forward again when it passed, moving back up to the countertop to lean on it again and look up at Charna, even if just a few inches away, and then down at her stomach like she was tracing the path the terrible concoction had taken, Suki looked just a little ill herself now and she hadn't even drank it. Jewell's words got her attention and a flourish of hair as her head turned.

"You will? I..." and then Charna confirmed what Jewell had been saying, eyes widening, "Reeeeeally? JewJew and Oneesan you're great!"

Her eyes lighting up and both hands held up into fists before her in a sign of determination while her face was nothing but pure glee. "I can do it then! I can..." she faltered at Charna's positively demon-that-just-arose-from-an-inner-circle-of-hell -class-devious smile, a half step taken away from the kitchen counter like she was about to bolt back upstairs, "Waaaaaah? Now?! ... how... how about Jewe..." she swallowed, she could see this was going nowhere and squeezing her eyes shut now used her arms to defend herself like she was about to be hit and her head twisted to the side. There she was ready! "... d.... dare."

Charna had told her it was the only way to play the game and perhaps she was taking it literally, another half step back taken as she chose her poison.

She giggled and it was actually a rather pleasant sound. Too bad that smirk was still holding strong. She clapped her hands together, trying to sneak something of a predatory circle around dear little Suki, you know, without scaring the life out of the girl.

She purred, letting the sound rattle around in her throat, trying to coax the girl out of her defensive stance.

"Dare? Why, darling! How impressive of you! Let's see, let's see...what would be a good proper dare? Perhaps..."

She thought of lots of wicked things, but no...she just couldn't bring herself to do those to Natsuki. She looked to Jewell for a moment, standing next to the girl's right shoulder as she looked to the fae. It was a look for inspiration, really.

"How about...I dare you to go outside and yell something at the top of your lungs? Oh! Wait! You have to yell this..."

She snickered as she came up with an innocent enough sentence and then leaned over to whisper it in Suki's ear. Message delivered, she drew back and set her hands on her hips.

Her eyes are still squeezed shut, trembling at the sound of Charna?s giggling, one eyelid cracking open to catch the sight of Charna circling her and started to close again to avoid the sight of her impending doom but the purr managed to keep it open, and from her bolting. The other eyelid cracked open when Charna spoke. Time had slowed down to a stand still as Charna took her sweet time tormenting the teen, her arms lowering a little as nothing seemed to happen yet. Maybe Charna had taken pity on her?

Her mouth opened to suggest a dare, but the words never quite made it out of her lips when Charna?s suggestion came, her own voice coming back in her typically soft voice and raised up nearly to actual loudness, ?Outside? yell?!? Like the word yelling was a foreign word to her and she had never heard of it or just completely lacked the faculties to do so.

Yet it was her suggestion of what that truly took the cake, ?WHAAAAAAAAA?!? Two steps back away from Charna, her arms thrust downward to her side fingers curling into her palms to make outraged little fists. But it was those tremendous size her eyes had become, shocked nearly to her their limits, those big saucers watering up just a little, ?I? I? I? I have to say? to yell? that? outside?!?

A quick nibble to her lower lip and almost a shake of her head, ?You can?t be serious Oneesan someone might hear me! And? and? and then what will people think of me?!?

The teen that was could just be perfectly described as a dash of outraged and smattering of shocked gave a quick glance to Jewell as if summoning her help forth.

She giggled as Natty tried to make it her turn. Oh no, the fae knew her turn--or turns--would come and eventually Charna would make her pay dearly for her poor rumbling tummy. For now, she was free as a bird and merrily watching Natsuki try and steel herself for the upcoming trial.

She leaned forward on the island in the kitchen, hoisting herself up so she can kick her feet behind her as she watched the Vixen circle her prey. She certainly wasn't much of a source of inspiration for Charna, just grinning like a silly little girl when she looked over at her.

Jewell did, however, settle her feet back on the ground and clap as Charna announced Suki's fate, "All right!" Of course, Natty's response to the given Dare just made the moment all the more amusing.

However, she was left out of Charna's devious plotting as the Vixen whispered the message to Suki--even Jewell's hearing wasn't that good! She could only imagine what the message could be, though, from the teen's reaction and couldn't help but dissolve into more laughter.

The only help she had to offer, after wrapping her arms around her stomach and giggling like mad, was to grin at Natsuki and declare to both girls, "I can't wait to see this!"

Further insult to injury--"We can go out in the front yard, so the ocean won't drown it out! Maybe they'll be able to hear it over at Longden Castle!"

"People will think you're probably one of the most innocent beings left in this town, silly. Come on! It isn't even that bad! This is me going easy, darling...you should be most thankful."

She was trying so hard not to start laughing, but snorts and snickers kept escaping as she heard Jewell behind her. To prevent from further offending Suki, and perhaps to fix some of the damage already caused, she wrapped her arms around the younger female, and planted a sisterly kiss on Suki's cheek. Once again, she adopted the purr, letting it stroke over and smooth out the girl's nerves.

"You can do it, zaichik. It'll be over before you know it, yeah? Come on..."

She released the girl from the hug, giving her sleeve a tug as she started moving for the door. On her way past Jewell, she lit up with a mischievous grin, thankfully keeping it hidden from Suki, considering the back of her head was to the teen.

"You'll love this." She slid through her teeth to the fae in a conspiratorial fashion. After that, she just headed through the door to the kitchen, using her memory to lead the procession out of the darkened house.

Suki sent the best semblance of a glare that she could to Jewell at the suggestion, but she failed by nearly a magnitude, her cheeks looking like someone had taken a glowing marker and scribbled all across the top of them, "O-out front?"

Distracted by the traitorous JewJew the hug from Charna caught her by surprise and she tensed briefly before relaxing, letting the words sink in. Fingers uncurling she leaned into the hug while it lasted. Another bite to her bottom lip as she watched Charna move off toward the front door. A dash of feet in socks and Suki slid on by, just barely managing to keep on her feet. She burst through the door letting it swing all the way open and stopped on the front lawn, head hanging down and she made those cute little fists once more at her side, her shoulders heaving as she took in deep breaths. Whether the others caught up to her or not she didn't care, or maybe planned on it.

"I... I..." a swallow and she squeezed her eyes shut, her voice a little higher pitched than normal, "I LIKE TO KISS LOTS AND LOTS OF BOYS!"

There! And she was running again, past the door, and the others, and the hallways, not necessarily in that order and back up the stairs, a stumble heard at the top but she pushes to her feet and throws herself stomach down on the sleeping bag she had set up earlier, head down and cradled in her arms.

As Charna whispered, "You'll love this," to her, Jewell rubbed her hands together like some evil scientist. Even the glare from Suki--shocking though it was from the usually sweet teen--could not damper her excitement for the dare.

She skipped out of the kitchen after Charna and then had to pick up the speed to catch up with Suki. The tricksy young girl was trying to get out of having an audience! She skidded to a stop before the door, just in time to step outside and hear Natty's shout.

The girl was certainly being dramatic about the whole thing but this was ignored as Jewell dissolved into hysterical laughter upon hearing what Charna had told the teen to say.

She was doubled over as Natty ran by into the safety of the house, filling the silence of the night with her guffaws. She only straightened when she heard poor Natsuki stumble on the stairs, a glance given to the open front door through teary eyes.

And excuse the delay.

Whenever Jewell could see past the tears, she'd find the skinny Vixn besides her, with her arms wrapped over her virtually non-existent belly, giggling like a fiend. Okay, okay. So she did feel really, really bad about making Suki so upset, but come on! That was so tame! And so ridiculously cute and funny!

She replayed it for thirty seconds longer, her fit of laughter gradually and reluctantly fading into a snort or two.

"Whew...Oh, gods..." A single finger lifted to swipe away a tear from beneath her eye. "We should go win her back over. She looked...gods..."

She shook her head with a smirk and started inside, taking her time up the steps. Her body was aching and recovering, still, even if it was just from intense mirth. Too much of it could be a little painful. When she got to the top of the stairs, she turned and sauntered cautiously over to Jewell's room.

"Zaichik, come on now...", she purred from inside the doorframe as she looked to the curled up Natsuki on the floor. "It's just a game, yeah? Really, lovey...it's okay, you know?"

She let herself laugh for a little longer, even as Charna headed back inside. That really had been too perfect, she could only hope some of her neighbors heard; too bad the Sanctuary wasn't a little closer.

She felt bad for not feeling bad at all; it had been Charna's dare after all and an excellent one, at that! She wiped at her eyes one more time and tried to kill her smile a little before going inside and up the stairs.

She hung behind Charna a little, peering over her shoulder at Natsuki. She should have probably just let Charna do all the comforting but she couldn't help herself, "I bet no one besides us even heard, hun...and you know, there's nothing wrong with kissing boys. It's a lot of fun, actually!"

Words of wisdom from the Empress.

::Natsuki lay there sprawled out on her little makeshift bed, little fingers curled up in the cloth beneath in attempts to make fists as best she could. He face was hidden real good, but the hair had parted just so to see those burning red ears. The pastries might be able to be reheated from them at this point, feet contained in just socks squirmed in little pushes as if trying to help Suki's goal of burying herself deep down in her arms and bed to forever and ever be avoided from being seen again. If the blush of embaressement wasn't already in full force it would blazed up again at the sound of her sister's voice in the doorway. Her head shook as best as it could in its position, unyielding in the goal of never showing it to another living being. Her voice was pitiful, a combination of muffeled of course, and bordering on that wailing quality the youth could get::

That was meeeeeean oneesan N-n-now everyone is going to think I kiss all the boys and and I'm some sort of girl who kisses all the boys! ::The Horror!:: And... and...

::She choked off, head wiggiling in an attempt to disappear down into the blankets. Her hands finally did something to help and part of a nearby blanket was yanked over her head. Ostrich theorey in full effect here.::

She was really, really working on not snorting, here. Mustering up a kind of voice meant to soothe a swarm of angry bees, honey-soaked and warm, she stalked towards her little sister.

"Lovey, lovey, calm down, yeah? I'm sure no one even heard! And by the time anyone looked, only Jewell and I were standing out there. They probably thought one of us said it. If anyone asks, that's what I'll tell them?"

She kept a straight face (through some small miracle) as she delivered that, then sank down to her knees at Suki's side. Lightly, she stroked the right side of the persian blue mane.

"Is that better?"
