?MAMA MAMA! COME QUICK! HURRY!?

?Mama?s coming, pipsqueak. You don?t have to yell!? Seirichi shouted back, already engaged in a lazy trot down the hallway. At least until she struck a transparent wall of Saran Wrap, found herself entangled, and slumped to the ground in a heap.

?APRIL FOOLS!!!? Both Harris and Kellie shouted, pointing and laughing at Seirichi?s misfortune they helped orchestrate.

LATER THAT DAY...

?Remember Kellie. Saran Wrap is your best friend on a day like today,? Harris dutifully explained as they hovered just outside the closed door of the master bathroom. Kellie giggled, then remembered she was supposed to be quiet and clamped a hand over her mouth. They both pressed their ear to the door and listened. It wasn?t long before a string of expletives exploded from Seirichi?s mouth from within the bathroom.

?WHY IS THERE SARAN WRAP ON THE FU*KING TOILET SEAT?!! HARRIS!!!! KELLIE!!!!!?

They followed their original plan to the letter; they ran immediately.

IN THE EVENING...

Having spent the better part of the day inspecting the premises of her beach house for any further pranks related to Saran Wrap, it was finally time for Seirichi to make dinner. By ordering out. How could they prank her food if they didn?t have a hand in making it? She had outwitted them for sure. Plus, it was impossible to beat a home delivered steak dinner.

?Let Mama cut yours up, Kellie,? Seirichi offered, slicing a large hunk of steak from her own plate to give to her daughter.

?Hey, cut mine too.? Harris grinned. He stopped grinning when Seirichi reached across the table with both hands and ripped his ribeye in twain rather effortlessly.

?That?s the only meat I?m handling for you tonight,? Seirichi threatened.

?That?s fine. Can you pass me the salt? Please?? Harris was grinning again. Kellie had started to snicker.

Seirichi snapped up the salt shaker, not to pass it over, but to use it herself. She only had to shake it once for the top to tumble off and the entire contents of the salt shaker pooled in a neat mound directly in the center of her meal. She frowned. They laughed.

THE NEXT MORNING...

When Harris awoke the next day it wasn?t in his bed in the guest room. It wasn?t in Seirichi?s bed either. It was on the beach. Buried up to his neck in sand, with the tide creeping ever closer. It was an impressive feat to perform such a task while he was sleeping, no doubt with ShadoWeaver?s assistance. He had PathFinder though, so it wouldn?t be too much trouble to? wait. He didn?t have PathFinder. Not at the moment. He couldn?t sense it on his person. He frowned as the tables had turned. He and Kellie had spent the day playing pranks on Seirichi. She retaliated by playing a prank on him with the Opals as her backup. All he could do was groan.

?This is bullsh*t. It?s not even April Fools? Day anymore.?

Then he gargled a mouthful of sea water.
