Drip, drip, drop little April shower. So seldom was a rain the sort that kept you from doing a sunny day's activities while also providing you with the perfect soundtrack for rocking in a chair on the porch. This place, Silica Cottage, had been neglected over the year, as it always was when not being lived in, which was quite a travesty considering the great value of the estate. Nothing special, mind you, but it was perfectly placed on the shore of the crystal clear bay water that sloshed up on its white sandy beach. A place not easily rented, much less purchased, which was exactly what Techichi had done when her and her very expectant wife rolled into town. Two unusual women, looking for a peace from their law-enforcing nations, war, and unfair judgment. It wasn't just a vacation home, or a home away from home. It was true sanctuary, or one of the first embodiments of it they'd come across.
One of the first places they could truly have privacy, truly spend time together -- getting to know one another, truly relax. It had a very special place in the hearts of Tetch and Lilith. And now, in an unfortunate rain, which can so easily nasty up a beach. But two women, who had made their return to the vacation home, were bothered none by the inconvenience. "Uuugh!" Tetch moaned, her chest largely revealed in that loose, low-cut purple top she wore. White it had long sleeves that extended far past her wrists, the bust-line was so unforgivably showy. Thankfully her black bra underneath had been there when she sauntered those luscious cotton boyshorts over to the empty one of two rocking chairs, her bare feet barely making a sound.
"..Almost done unpacking." She said with a smirk, handing an empty, blue wine glass across the flimsy woven table that separated these two chairs just briefly, awaiting Lilith's taking possession so she could plop down to her own chair with that wine bottle, her shirt falling completely off one of her shoulders while she sighed. "I don't know how people are supposed to drink this stuff. I would have much rather had tequila. But if the old lady in town insists... can't argue with free booze, anyway." Twisting the cork out and holding it in-front of her nose. Nice aroma, but she wasn't that kinda girl, discarding the thing to the table. Sweet fragrances did little for her. Right away, she poured herself a tall glass, setting it down, and then snapping her fingers impatiently but anything but noisily and annoyingly during this peaceful storm. "Gimme your glass."
"You shouldn't of brought so much.. Only have yourself to blame." Teased Lilith. In fact -- the former guardian of Liltu had been the one with the cases upon cases of luggage.. almost paling Techichis own in comparison. Taking hold of the glass as it was handed to her; she soon continued her slow and steady rock as she peered out with grayish eyes to the storm that darkened the beach before them. The small chill from the storm had been enough to cause the white haired woman to grasp a nearby blanket and cover herself sometime ago.. masking the white sundress she had thought she could enjoy strolling the beach in. Oh how she wished the rain would pass -- but at the same time.. she couldn't help but enjoy it. "Hm?" Taking notice of those snapping fingers. The white witch did as she was told and held her glass toward the shorter haired woman, expecting her to fill it soon after. "Thank you.." Lilith herself was a little under the weather.. then again -- she had been ever since that day. It was still a new feeling, being this weak.. It made her feel the smallest bit of uneasy around a person like Techichi. Having to rely on her more than ever.
