Nayun Takamine

"A...achoo..!" Nayun sneezed suddenly into a quickly plucked tissue. Breathing in once more.. only to be stopped by the feeling of another sneeze coming on. "Unn.." A soft groan left lips. Blowing out into the tissue before wadding it up and dropping it into the well placed trash bin that stood next to what was called by Seirichi, her - sick bed-. The couch.

Body flopped back down to rest at her side once more. Leg drawing up. Softly rubbing the side of her foot against leg while drawing the blanket up to her neck. She felt terrible.. her body ached, her nose was stuffed, an she just spent the last twenty four hours sleeping on and off.

Eyes attempted to focus on the television.. but even the sight of cartoons didn't amuse her much. Instead she looked to the katana that leaned against the side table beside the couch.. her katana. Another sniff taken, followed by the closing of her eyes as she tried her best to get comfortable once more.. but nothing seemed to help.

Thinking back on the two nights she spent in Rhy'Din. Dueling.. meeting new people.

"Nayun."

The soft, young voice took her attention without a split second of delay. Her eyes opened to look to the boy who was afraid of stepping too close. Nayun could tell by the look on his face; he was worried.

".. You're not going to die, right..? I don't want you to die.."

Nayun blinked softly. Lips parted to respond, but she felt the tickle in her throat once more so she drew the blanket up to cover her mouth to cough out. This only seemed to trouble the small boy more. Pulling the blanket away, and without the interruption of another cough, she'd speak. "No, my little warrior.. Don't worry, it's only a cold.. I'll be better in a few days."

"... You sure?" He didn't seem to believe her at all.

"Why would I ever lie to you?" Perking an exaggerated brow. Even putting in the extra effort to place a smile on her face. "I will be fine.. Please, don't worry." Peering up from the boy as she saw his mother enter the room.

"Karaichi.." Seirichi spoke out while plucking the boy off his feet. "What'd I tell you? Leave Nayun alone, she needs to rest." The child gave a tilt of his head to look at his mothers pouting face, giving his own in return. "But..!" -- "Nope. No buts." Tossing him up suddenly a few feet before catching and drawing the boy into a held hug. "You're playing with Mommy today. You said you'd build me a castle!" The boy began to wiggle about. Obviously wanting to get out of his mothers grasp; but it just wasn't happening. "Nope, nope, nope! You're mine!" Nayun watched Seiri, still holding onto the wiggling Kara, escape down the hallway.

Nayun was left alone to her thoughts and found her attention drawn to her resting katana once more. After a few moments she slowly blinked and drew the blanket up and over her head. A sigh passed her lips. The last place she wanted to be was on this couch, resting..

Being sick is so annoying..
