In front of the Bon Bon Boutique a crowd of people were gathered on the path with wait to get into the door. Standing in the doorframe was the petite blond barista, arms flailing as the people crowded her. "I'm sorry! I am not sure where Katt is! I can't open until she arrives. Please have a seat and I am sure she will be along any time now." Cordy's voice strained over the line of people. Many whom were regulars and knew that Katt was a rather prompt person.

"You said that Saturday!" some man in the crowd shouted. This single shout sent the crowd into a bustle of conversation.

Cordy's hands went up and tried to get the crowd to lower their voices. The man was right. Cordy had expected Katt to show up today when she didn't on Saturday. Maybe she could catch Sergei and get some information out of him about Katt's whereabouts. After a moment of consideration the woman spoke out "I am sorry but the Bon Bon Boutique will be closed until further notice." That of course sent the crowd up into a roar that caused Cordy to wince. "Please return in a day or two for an update. I am sure by then I will have word on what is going on. Miss Katt is just probably sick." It was cold season after all.

It took a while but the crowd eventually ebbed away and once gone left a very drained Cordy slumping down against the locked door. "Phew.."

Crisis avoided... for now.

Cordy was at the Bon Bon Boutique at the crack of dawn like she always was, expecting the door to be opened like it normally was when she was going to work.

And yet it wasn't.

Frowning Cordy turned her eyes up to the looming building. It was almost a week now that Katt went missing. She suddenly snorted. "If she ran off and abandoned this place... I am not going to be the one to tell the customers!"

She'd wait a little longer for news. Until then she used the sleeve of her sweater to clear the chalkboard next to the door. In big blue chalk she wrote:

Closed Until Further Notice
