.: Nov 24th - following Day of Thanks with Pie and tied to Day of Thanks by Race :.

Poor Sergei was dragged out of bed when she arrived at the Bon Bon. She found his bed hair quite..cute. He was dragged around the Bon Bon while she got things ready for the day.

"Come on!" she urged him on as he helped pack a few baskets of bread. "The delivery person will be here soon to drop this off for Race and the others. I want it to be ready!"

When she looked over she found him half slouched over a basket, fast asleep. Poor guy was totally exhausted. It really surprised her how he had so much energy with all the work he did. He was always working. Heck he probably worked in his dreams! Sighing she moved over and gently nudged him. "Go upstairs and wake up a bit more."

He started to argue but a yawn interrupted him. When she giggled he blushed, quickly escaping up the stairs. She figured to either go back to sleep or wake himself up. Either way she turned back to her task.

"I hope Race won't be mad at me for not bringing it myself." The last of the box was tucked into the cart and she smiled to the delivery person who seemed to pop up just in time. She gave directions and when she was sure the person knew where to go she'd leave the cart to the person's care.

Two task down.

She still had to finish up the rest of the boxes of food. It was going to be a long morning but if things unfolded how she wanted it would be well worth it.

Close to noon she had everything prepared into another cart. With a more awake Sergei to help her, the two of them left the Bon Bon. Despite Sergei asking where they were headed with the cart full of food, she never answered. Just trucked along until they came to one of the orphanages she brought the day ends of pastries and breads to. Many of the kids were outside and one of the women watching over them smiled to Katt and Sergei.

"My goodness, Miss Rhysata. What are you doing here? Oh! Happy Thanksgiving to the two of you!"

Katt smiled and started to help Sergei collect some of the boxes to bring in. "Um..you too? We just came to bring a few things!" Actually it was a lot of things but she didn't want to just say that!

The woman blinked and opened the door for them. It took a little longer than expected cause they had to weave around some kids but eventually all the boxes were placed in the kitchen. The woman in the kitchen seemed baffled by the food stacked in her kitchen and while Katt helped unbox some of it, poor Sergei was dragged off by some of the kids to play.

She snickered and watched him look over to her with that helplessly look of his. She just smiled. "Have fun!" It seemed that once he was sure he was okay with him going play while she did the work he was all smiles again. Off he went with the kids. It was good for him to see him relax some.

"You know as long as I've known you I've never quite seen you smile like that." the warm voiced cook spoke out.

She looked over to the robust, gray haired woman with a confused look. "Mrm?" A box was set to the side and she grabbed a plate. From the box she started pulling out sandwich squares, setting them on the plate and stacking them as high as she'd dare.

"You must have plenty to be thankful for this year with a smile like that." The woman simply smiled and started to assist.

"Thankful..for.." Katt's hands stopped for a moment as she considered over the woman's words. The smile twitched a bit higher. "Yeah..Yeah I guess I do."

The year might of started off to crap and there were times that things seemed bleak but in the end..she did have lots to be thankful for. She had people that honestly cared about her and in turn that she cared about. She had people she trusted.. she had family...friends..She had the Bon Bon. She had people who understood and accepted her for who and what she was. She had..

There was a scream that dragged her out of her thoughts and both she and the cook looked out the window in time to see Sergei get dog piled on.

"That poor boy is going to need a nice long soak by the end of the day." The woman laughed.

She snickered. While Sergei wasn't as graceful as he was in the skies he did seem to at least be having fun. "May I use the stove? I may not of brought turkey but I can make something nice and warm."

"Oh we have turkey but of course, please go at it." The cook gestured before turning to empty out more boxes. "Gods, child. You brought enough here to feed a small army for a week."

"Or a bunch of kids for a few days." She chimed quietly and placed a few pots on the stove.

By the time lunch came around there were three pots of beef stew, a large turkey with trimmings, fresh bread, pies, cakes. Lunch came and went, nothing was left but a bunch of sleepy kids. She helped clean the tables and was eventually shooed out of the kitchen. It was probably time to go anywho.

She found in the commons of the orphanage most of the kids had gathered by the fire to sleep. Tangle among the small bodies was Sergei who seemed to of been dragged in on nappy time. The biggest kid of them all and he was passed out! Tip toeing among the bodies she inched closer to the sleeping Sergei, a hand reaching out to nudge him softly.

"Sergei..It is time to go." He groaned in respond and she quickly shushed him. "Come on..you can sleep at the Bon Bon."

She helped him unravel himself from a few arms..legs..and other various kid parts. When he stood she smiled to him and reached out for his hand. The two of them carefully weaved their way from the sleepy crowd and eventually to the door. Once outside and near the cart she reached out to give Sergei a hug and a timid little kiss to his cheek. "Thank you for all your help today Sergei." Before he could hug back she grabbed onto the handle of the cart and started to tug.

With the spluttering Sergei in tow she headed back to the Bon Bon. The rest of the evening would probably consist of her cleaning but it had very much been worth it.
