.: Sept 15th - Late Afternoon :.

She didn't know when it started but it had started. It was two days since she had been able to sleep. She figured the stress lately was just getting to her. It explained the headaches. It explained why she felt like she was hallucinating, seeing and hearing things she shouldn't. Considering she lived in a haunted building..she knew when she was seeing things!

It started to get worse around the evening as she sat on the porch, listening to Edward and Raye hash out the details of Raye working at B.I. She had just gotten through pretty much snarling at Raye for a reason she still didn't understand. Raye hadn't angered her. In fact Raye was a good friend so why did she suddenly feel highly irritated?

Raye had figured Katt had seen something inside which..in a way was true but not really. She hadn't been bothered in the least when she saw Toby making out with his new girlfriend. He was happy. Mayu was happy with a girl in her life. That was all that mattered. They were happy. She wasn't needed anymore and she accepted that gracefully.

So why? Why did she feel like breaking something?

She had watched as Edward departed..eventually Raye followed. So she moved into the inn. A bunch of members from some school showed up and she tried, really hard, to keep to herself. Was sorta hard to. Xera was sort of hard to deny with her very excitable personality and the man Uziya ..well his unique name got her talking if only briefly. That and his offering of booze. Normally she didn't drink but he offered her a drink and at the time she had no clue what it was he was drinking!

Whiskey..

And she took a big gulp like she had if it was water. She had long since forgotten how the burn of alcohol felt. It burned! Pleasantly...

Watching the ongoings of the inn was always fun when there was no death and guns involved but tonight was particularly interesting. Probably because of the apples that Owl brought. Yum! And watching Uziya and Xera fight over a baked apple was quite amusing..until it turned into something more heated. The man ended up passing his bottle over to her so, she figured, he could deal with Xera with both hands.

She ended up with the bottle for keeps after he left. Told to keep it until next time. While he was joking she pretty much kept it anyways. A few sips taken while speaking with Rhiannon and enjoying some ice cream.

After Rhiannon left she took her leave too.

After that...

..After that she woke up to Leo's soft tone welcoming her out of slumber. His voice didn't click and it was waking up to someone touching her that sent her into a massive panic. She remembered yanking away and him scolding her. She barely heard him. Too busy transfixed by the fact she was covered in blood. Not all her own....

She had blacked out? She remembered nothing and it made her panic even if she didn't quite show it. Her mind was going through a million different things while Leo was attempting to assure her it looked like she had been defending herself in some sort of fight.

The fight wasn't her concern. Nor was the wound. What if...What if she had killed someone ...again..and didn't remember?!

Leo informed her that he was going to stitch up her back so once she had settled he started on that. What happened next was slightly disturbing and awkward at best. When the needle pierced her flesh and he started to sew her skin a feeling shot down her spine she wasn't expecting. Warm and pleasant. Way too pleasant. Enough to send a groan from her depths. She had barely managed to shove her knuckles against her mouth to silence herself. Nevermind the feeling that made her squirm in her seat and caused her cheeks to color like fresh tomatoes.

What the hell was that?! There was no way that Leo's touch could do that to her! The pleasant shivers rushing down her spine didn't seem to cease until he pulled away. Before she even realized what she was doing she was already reaching out to him, trying to stop him from going too far. What followed still left her baffled. After thanking him..she kissed him. A soft, lingering kiss that she was surprised he returned. Broken only by the sound of a beast outside who sounded enraged.

Now..hours later and sitting on the roof of the Bon Bon..she realized how odd that whole event had been. What came over her to ...kiss Leo..Granted it hadn't been horrible. Not at all. Quite pleasant actually. But it was totally..not something she would brave up to do..with anyone let alone someone like Leo.

Swallowing she raised a hand and began to knead at her chest, a spot over her heart that was paled skin from a scar. No clue what he thought about it either. Everything had seemed so awkward. He kept looking away, obviously embarrassed.

What had she done..?

Groaning to herself she planted her face into her hands. After a moment of consideration she pushed off the roof, landing on the balcony below.

She should of asked him that question. How hard was it to ask 'how can I get in touch with you when I need to'? Why was she so embarrassed to ask?

She could wait at the inn to see if he'd show up.

She didn't realize..she'd actually end up falling asleep there.

.: Sept 23rd - Early Morning :.

Why did things go wrong? What was so wrong with spending one night..being happy? Why couldn't she have that one night?

She had braved up to asking Leo to the Mabon then again she could probably chalk that bravery to the five or so glasses of the super smooth scotch she had put down. The fact he agreed to it simply astounded her. Enough so that it left her stumped

Regardless she had looked forward to spending the afternoon with Leo. Nervous enough to actually was worried about how she would look! Not nervous enough that she would skip out on it though. She had dressed in the gown that S'jira had made for her..wore her hair up thanks to Raye..

She had been looking forward to it.

..it didn't turn out how she had wanted...

Now..hours past breakfast she stumbled into the Bon Bon. She wished she hadn't heard the familiar voice calling out to her. She happened to step inside just as Sergei was coming up from the basement and his 'studies' of the mysterious door hidden in the depth of the Bon Bon. The sight of her in the tattered gown filled with blood and grime had sent the lad into a frenzy she hadn't been prepared for.

It had been hard to keep herself from crying while he demanded an answer. And how hard was it to tell him..she had no clue!! One minute she was enjoying the Mabon, despite being nervous beyond all belief. Francine showed up, offering a aid and suddenly....there was a knife in her gut. Francine had stabbed her, a hand over her mouth to silence her in the process. The stab had been precise and the pain left her to the will of the woman who dragged her off to the marketplace.

She might not of admitted it to Sergei but she knew she had been bait. It was her fault what happened to Leo and although people told her otherwise it was just how she felt. He was laying wounded at the Scathachian Sanctuary because of her.

It took nearly an hour and zillions worth of 'Are you okay's form him before he finally left her to clean up. She knew he was worried but being asked if she was alright so much was driving her a little nutsy. She was not okay..not by a longshot..

And what made it worse was she was not allowed to stay and sit at Leo's side. She wanted to be there for him but Edward kept insisting she go back to the Bon Bon and rest up. That she would need her rest.

Did he know something she did not?

Rest...

How was she suppose to rest? The more she tried..the more restless she felt.

"He'll be okay.." she mumbled at the air as she paced in her empty room. He would be okay.

...He just had to be...

.: Sept. 27th - Early Afternoon :.
(Snipped from live play. Many thanks to Raye, Audrey, and Silphion!)

The night before had been unpleasant to the point she could no longer handle it. Three shots of tequila and some time later..She had broken down in Raye's arms without meaning to.

There was only so much a person could bottle and hers was overflowing. For a time she thought she could keep it hidden, agony of it all stuffed deep down where nobody could see. For a time she thought she was doing well..

And yet Raye had helped more then she would ever know. The comfort and the woman's insight was deeply appreciated. However, she felt that Raye didn't deserve to have to deal with her problems..deal with her breakdown...her..heartache? The woman had enough on her own plate.

There were going to be apologies for sure..

She barely had remembered Raye leaving. Leaving her behind the bar and in the care of Audrey. At least she was pretty sure it had been Audrey. She remembered ....

...dreamless sleep...

Then rage. Oh the rage. It started when she was woken to movement. Woken to being brought from the city of Rhydin to a place unfamiliar. Sil, who had found her passed out behind the bar, felt she needed to pull her away. And she threatened him until he agreed to bring her back.

She had to go back.

She didn't want to travel too far in case she had been needed..or wanted..

During her time at whatever Sanctuary that Sil had brought her to she found that he had been mortally wounded. That was the only reason it took so long for her to get back to Rhydin. She took the time to tend his wounds and let him rest before he returned her.

Now, hours later, she was back in the city and the rage needed to be dealt with.

In the rubble of a building that had, for some time, been grounded she sat resting. Waiting..

For most things her patience was infinite. But for some things, like waiting to see Leo..her patience was thin. But this.

For the hunt...

Her patience was endless...
